Photoshop Elements

Hi all First time posting to this discussion group, and my apologies for the length of this post. Question: Is anyone using Photoshop Elements 2020 to write labels directly to printable CDs using a Canon PIXMA TS700 series inkjet printer? Background: For 13 years I was using an Epson R280 inkjet to print labels directly to printable CDs.  Never used the Epson CD label designing software, always used PE 12, upgraded to PE 2020 about a year ago.   Disliked PE’s Create CD label software, always printed from a template I got from Riverwood Photography a long time ago, and I don’t remember how I managed before that. Epson label printing finally became treacherous: text ghosting and stray marks on the label.   Ditched the Epson, bought a Canon PIXMA TS702.   Didn’t install the ‘My Image Garden’ CD label software (everyone seems to hate it), and don’t like ‘Easy PhotoPrint Editor’ which I find clunky and inflexible.   I **s

Hallo,mein Betriebssystem ist Win10 und meine Bildbearbeitung mache ich mit Photoshop Elements 2019.Wenn ich Bilder mit dem Editor bearbeite und anschließend speichere, dann vergibt PSE automatisch einen neuen Bildtitel "My beautiful picture". Selbst ein bereits vorhandener Name wird gelöscht. Wie kann ich erreichen, dass PSE keinen Namen vergibt?

I purchased photoshop elements 2021 & installed it on my desktop, everything seemed to be working OK until a few days ago, when ever I try to open it now I get a pop up message saying sign in required. I purchased the software because I am not always connected to the internet.Think it may have started to do this after an update so wondering if there is a setting that has been changed, hoping someone can help as I don't want to have to sign in each time I use the software.

 The Editor PLACE command defaluts to THIS PC>PICTURES, I would like to change this to a different path. I have attached a pdf which shows you what my intent is. Is it possible? 

Hi, I often change over temporarily to the Zoom Tool while another tool is active in the Toolbox using the Ctrl + Spacebar shortcut. More often than not, I'll then drag a marquee around the area I want to zoom in on. Unlike in Photoshop where the zoom happens instantly, in Photoshop Elements 2021 on my Windows 10 machine, I have to release the keyboard shortcut before Photoshop Elements zooms in. That means I'm constantly having to hold down, then release the keyboard shortcut. In Photoshop, you can hold down the keyboard shortcut for as long as you need to. Even more strange, using the same keyboard shortcut, when you perform a normal zoom by clicking on the screen  Photoshop Elements does not perform the first zoom instantly; you can keep clicking and it does zoom in, then when you release the keyboard shortcut, it finally does the first zoom. The Zoom Tool works just as expected when selected in the Toolbox, and so does holding down the Ctrl key to get the t

Mon fils a dessiné avec le logiciel et depuis, je n'arrive plus à ajuster le format des outils de crayons, pinceaux, efface. C'est ce qui est dans l'image ci-dessous qui apparaît quand je double clic sur l'outil. Que dois-je faire pour retrouver  l'ancien affichage. Merci.

Après ré-installation de mon Mac (passage sur Bigsur) , téléchargement de Photoshop Elements 202 (qui existait sur mon mac avant réinstallation), l'invite de choix (que voulez-vous faire aujourd'hui ?) se fait correctement, Organizer fonctionne normalement, mais Photoshop Elements ne s'affiche pas. (L'icône est présent dans le Dock, mais aucun affichage... ) Quelqu'un a t-il une solution ?

The update button in the help menu remains dimmed out and will not work.  I just purched and installed Phoshop Elements 2021 build 20210126.m.155261.  Please help.

I recently moved the contents of my previous computer to a new Mac. For some reason now, when I try to launch my Photoshop Elements 2020 I get a window asking me to sign on to my Adobe account. When I do, I get another window asking me to sign on, and again and again and again. How can I get out of this loop. It's frustrating and infuriating.Running a brand new Mac Mini with an Apple M1 chip and MacOS 11.2.2.Appreciate any help I can get to resolve this.

 The user guide states that "Folder for Saved Files" stores projects and other files, what is an example of projects and other files.   

I'm converting 2019 catalog to 2021 and reciving conversion failure error.  I ran the repair several times using 2019 all return succesfully completed.  The conversion log file alsways ends withe same message. "An error was encountered in the sqlite database: no such table: face_data_table"  My environment has been upgraded from 2015 to 2019 to 2021.  All three are on my Windows 10 workstation. My catalog contains 55,095 media items.  So it's quite large.Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just purchased and installed Photoshop Element 2021 and then uninstalled PSE 15 - my previous version that I was using. In the installtion process, I selected the option to convert my Catalog that was in use at that time. Everything looks good and everything works just fine.In my Windows 10 desktop PC, I have a 100 GB SSD (C) and a much bigger mechanical Hard drive (D). To save space, I installed the Photoshop Element 2021 in my 😧 Drive.After the installation, I chnaged the Catalog name to make it more meaningful to me to reflect the starting point for my PSE 2021. And, that chnage was accepted, and I have no trouble in opening and accessing all of my current information, and it uses the RENAMED Catalog.Now, I am trying to locate where it stores that Catalog. I have looked around everywhere using Window's File Explorer, but can not locate my newly named Catalog.I sure could use some help in locating this Catalog so that I can make sure to protect it and manaully back it up wh

Hi to all, I'm currently running Photoshop Elements 11 on Windows 10 on a Intel i7 3rd generation platform. I'm thinking of upgrading to the 2021 version, but system requirements indicate a 6th generation processor. Will the Photoshop Elements 2021 version run on my machine (probably slower) or will it not run at all? Thanks for any advise. Regards,Huub

My issue is not PSE itself but my clumsy folder structure I created over time. Currently my photo library is out side of the default windows "picture" folder and  burried deep in a diffrent folder structure, difficult to navigate to.Is there a way to simplify this mess

I keep on getting this error message when trying to add an additional location in the "places tag" - "A network connection is required to access the map".  I am on a secure network at home and have been using this program for 4 years now accessing this tag and all of a sudden it stopped working.  What can I do to correct this problem?

Hi - the conversion of my PS 15 catalog to PS 2021 is failing. I have ~2000 catalogued images (tagged etc) so I need to be able to convert the old catalog.The files copy, the conversion reaches 100%, the optimization starts and then I get a 'Conversion failed' error.I have repaired and optimized the catalog in PS 15 but this has not helped.I checked the Adobe help web pages for help but none of the info. there is helping.Thank for any assistance you can offer.I an using Windows 10.Tim

The installation cannot continue as the installer file may be damaged. Download the installer file again.its a brand new disc 

I previously bought photoshop 12 on cd and installed on my mac.  I just purchased a new mac and need to install it on my new mac.   There is a version there but it will not open.  It appears to be out of date and I cannot uninstall it either.  It says I need to update in order to do that.  But I cannot find the update files.  Is there anyone here who might be able to help me with this problem.

I am attempting to replace the sky in a photo of mine with a sky from another photo of mine.I have both photos in the Photo Bin.  I am using the Guided mode.  I have tried using the stock skies and they work fine.  But I need to use my own photo and I have encountered a problemStep 4 of the Guided mode special edit instrctions says:Do one of the following to choose a background:Click Import a photo to add your photo as background.Click Preset to add one of the background preset as the background.Click None to remove the background.Click Color to add a color as the background.I can't find any of these- Import, Preset, etc,  Where are these tools?

Hi all, every time i try to convert a jpg photo into web format, photoshop elements 13 stops working. Is this becuse my photoshop elements 13 version is not compatible with Mac Big Sur 11? Or is there another issue? Thanks Alex

I have Photoshop Elements 2020 Organizer. All face recognition data has been lost from the People tab. Places and Events data is still under the corresponding tabs. However, if I click folders on the left, there will be Named People shown from that particular folder. So there is People data but it is not shown unless a Folder is selected. Before all Named People were shown under the Named People tab. If I try to repair catalogue, I will get an error message Catalogue could not be repaired. Searching people does work so the data is somewhere. Need date/Time printed on every picture printout. Version 2021 always prints MM/DD/YYY. My old version (2015) did print DD/MM/YYYY lime I need it. Cant find any place to change that format. Countrysettings dont change it for me. Any help higly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can someone explain the difference between the tags shown as Keywords, People TAGS Places TAGS, Events TAGS,  shown when tags are selected in the right Keyword/Info panel, and Image tags which are shown at the bottom whether its showing Tags or Info? and what is different about Keywords that they are not shown as Keyword TAGS?  Is it just that the word tags is added in the panel to differentaite from the "Media / People / Places /Events across the top?
