My program stopped functioning. I have uninstalled the program and am now trying to reinstall it but get the message some items could not be installed successfully. The error code link does not work so I cannot be more specific.I have tried to reinstall multiple times. What happens is if I try to open a ".PSD" file the program crashes. Same if I click on .psd file and try to open it directly.Worked one day then poof program stopped functioning. Several theorys from tech but all followed by they cannot help me with that, they are not trained in that..... I have even run the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool with no success.
HELP!!! HI Guys, I suddenly CAN NOT save my files in Photoshop Elements 14.1. It was fine last night, but tonight it will NOT SAVE or SAVE AS. After trying various things, I uninstalled PSE 14 & reinstalledfrom my disc. This has made NO differance. Would appreciate any help, as I am in the middle of editing my first wedding photo's, so NOT good timing. All other editing elements seem to be working fine, as does my NIK plug-in software.It's VERY odd, as it's been fine up to now. I have had PSE 14 for about 4 years now & it's been working fine!!
I purchased a license to Photoshop Elements 13 a long time ago under a perpetual license rather than under a subscription. For some reason now, when I launch it, I get a message saying that the serial number is already in use by the maximum allowed compuers and that I need to deactivate another computer to use this product. However, since the last time I used it, old PC malfunctioned so I am unable to sign out of the program on it. Nobody at abobe seems to know how to manually disengage the program so that I can use it on my new PC. I've tried all the thing they did suggest and all they did was want to sign me up for one of their subscriptions. Is there any way around this problem? I would think that if Adobe thinks it's been activated on another PC, they ought to be able to disactivate it. But all I seem to get when I call is customer service people and not someone in technical support. Any help would be appreciated.
When I download a jpg, the small home screen comes up and I get nowhere from there. I have to open Photoshop Elements Editor, then do an 'open' from there, go to my downloads folder and click on the image. Why? It's such a hassle. What am I doing wrong? How should I be doing this?
Is there no way to continue editing in Guided Mode after doing one edit? I can't even fathomn why that is not an option. The only options given are continue editing in Basic or Advanced. I do all my edits in Guided Mode. I currenlty am using Elements 11 and I can do several edits very quickly in Guided Mode. Plus, when I finish an edit I am returned to the Guided Mode home and the image i am working on shows as a small image in the Show Open Files area on the bottom. Clicking on that image does not enlarge it to fill the screen. This is so counterproductive. It quadruples the number of mouse clicks needed to edit a photo.
Warum kann man den Dateinamen und das Dateiformat nicht mehr vorher in den Einstellungen festlegen? Das war vorher machbar und nun muss man jedesmal diese Daten anpassen.
I find that I often change lighting, color and balance settings to the same levels. I would like to create a custom setting for that so that I can make all the enhancements with a single button. Any help is appreciated. I am using 2025 Photoshop Elements. Thanks
I decided to reinstall PSE14 after giving up the subscription based plan (Photography). The installation rejected my serial number and said to contact customer support. Customer Support guy checked my records and says the product is no longer supported. I said I do not need support. Why can't I use a product I purchased only 6 years ago. He advised me to upgrade. I just cancelled my plan as I seldom use it. I just need some basic photo editing. I think this is totally dishonest of Adobe if it is a policy. I've given my mobile number so their senior can call me. I'm not holding my breath. Totally disappointed.
My copy of photoshop elements 2022 worked fine on a pc windows 10. The pc crashed and i have installed PS elements on a new pc windows 11. Organizer works fine but the editor does not start and shows a banner saying "the application could nor start properly (0xc000007b). press ok to close the application". I attach a copy of the banner (in french). That's very helpful 😞
I have a new camera. I can not open Raw files from it. I have installet Camera Raw.
On Mac Studio, I can no longer edit the documents I created with Photoshop Elements 2029. The monitor no longer displays the documents correctly. Does the 2019 version no longer work on Mac Studio?
Moin,ich bräuchte mal eure Hilfe.Ich habe Photoshop Elements 2025. Bisher lief es ohne Probleme.Nun habe ich einen enuen Bildschirm, 40 Zoll, 21:9. Nun bekomme ich nicht mehr alles angezeigt. So sehen ich oben zum Beispiel nicht mehr die Anzeigen "Schell - Assisten - Erweitert" und kann somit nicht mehr zwichen den Modis wechseln. Stattdessen ist oben ein schwarzer Balken. Unten ist es das gleiche.Kann ich das irgendwo anpassen? Gerade für die Bildbearbeitung habe ich mir diesen großen Bildschirm angeschafft.Für euer Hilfe bereits im Voraus vielen Dank!GrüßeAndi

However, despite Elements sharing much of Photoshop’s core functionality, there appears to be no native or even fallback support for Creative Console input in Photoshop Elements.The lack of official support from either side (Adobe or Logitech) leaves otherwise powerful tools underutilised, especially for users who don’t require a full Creative Cloud subscription but still want to invest in professional hardware and software.I respectfully urge you to consider:Adding Photosho
I'm on a PC running PSE 2020 and imported all of my photos into the organizer, have organized and tagged them nicely. However, one of the main reasons I wanted to organize my photos is because I have a catalog of 100K photos and am certain half of them are duplicate files - in the same folders, various folders, and all over the place in my photos folder. But, PSE Organizer won't import them because they are "duplicates and already exist in the catalog" (duh)However, being able to SEE ALL of the photo files - duplicates and all - in my organizer and then being able to sort by date, etc in order to delete the files (from PSE, not explorer of course) is what I need to clean up my duplicate folders. I don't see an option either in "get media" - via folder or bulk or otherwise - or the other option of "open" to turn off the feature to check for duplicate photos and not import them. Any leads appreciated!
I just got elements 2025. I do not see or cant find the cookie cutter, which I used a lot with my old version. Is it there or just gone? Also I used to be able to click on layers in my workspace, now I have to go the the layer panel on the right and choose. Is there a way to fix that? I'll get used to it but I really liked the other way better. Thanks for any help
I upgraded to the Elements 2025 bundle yesterday. All the settings from PSE, PRE, and the Elements Organizer were completely ignored and I had to pore over the old settings to match my desired configuration with the 2025 apps. Totally unacceptable.
If I let the app delete what it finds, what happens to the links in Photoshop Elements? Will the catalog lose track of those images, or will I have to manually reconnect everything? I’ve spent a long time organizing and tagging photos, so I don’t want to mess anything up. If you’ve used it, did it delete just from the hard drive, or did it also affect your catalog? I want to clean things up, but I’m worried about breaking the connections.
I downloaded the trial version of Element 2025. I decided to uninstall it, but now every time I instert my media card, the Elements photo downloaded starts up, funny, it only does it when I shoot my Canon, not my Nikon. It not only tries to copy all images to my local drive, but it also tries to upload to the cloud. I tried the adobe cloud cleaner tool, it does it things, it says that it has remove everything, but the downloader still works and it is always watching for my media card, it behaves like a virus. I also installed the adobe creative cloud software, but it says there are no apps to unistalled. How do I get rid off everything that the Elements 2025 has installed and hide in my computer ? Thank You.
Before I update to Elements 2024 from 2020, does anyone know if Photoshop Elements 2024 now supports CFExpress Type B cards? Thanks,Jim

When I try to open the photo editor in PS Premier Elements 2023 (from the main screen or the organizer), it wants me to download a free trial... doesn't editor come with PE 2023?How do I fix?
Until last night, I had no problems importing or displaying photos in a number of catalogs. Suddenly I could only see thumbnails. When I click on the photo, I get a screen with no photo. I was working on a new catalog, to name and delete unwanted photos. Now I find that only thumbnails display in all my catalogs. Can anyone tell me how to get the full photo so I can continue and edit the photos?Thank you.
I just upgraded my camera firmware to version 5.01 (body ILCE-7M4 Sony a7iv). That may have been a mistake! I can no longer import RAW files into Photoshop Elements 2022. The Help->Updates menu is greyed-out in PS Elements (Showing that there are not available updates). I have tried loading the Camera RAW drivers as per https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements-discussions/manually-install-adobe-camera-raw-acr-nicer-to-look-at/td-p/14539971 . I have followed the instructions and replaced the .8bi file with the 14.5 version and the problem will not go away. It seems that Camera raw 17.4 will not work with Photoshop Elements 2022 Everything worked fine until this "upgrade". I can still load RAW files taken before the upgrade but I can no longer load RAW files of photos taken after the upgrade. Is there a .8bi file that can be used with Photoshop Elements and that supports the latest Sony firmware update?
