Photoshop Elements

When I got a new desktop computer I put my Catalog on an EHD called Seagate #2. It  now has a number of subfolders included. Is this something I need to correct? It sure doesn't look like the version I had on my laptop which was just under MY Catalog with no subfolders.I will attach the snip of system info and also the organizer view.Would my Catalog be better if it does not have the subfolders?

I am having problems with Borderless prints in Photoshop Elements. When I select paper size from the menu I get loads of choices but when it comes to print size I get only 5 choices all of them small and the custom setting wont let me set a larger print size, clicking expand to fit doesnt help. I always get white lines on 2 sides of the print. I use an Epson 8550. When I use Epson print software I can get Borderless prints without a problem. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a number of questions regarding backup of my photo archive. I run PSE 2024 under Window 10/11 and want to make sure my photo archive is secure.   1. If I do a full incremental backup does this include everything in the Catalogue backup making the latter unnecessary or do they complement one another? 2. I ran a full backup to a USB memory stick followed by an incremental backup. I edited today a lot of photos and wondering after: WHY is Adobe Bridge changing all dates of Metadata to the last editing date?And the big help would be HOW to recover the dateI am really getting tired of Adobe 

If I remember correctly, in much older versions of Photoshop Elements you could define:a) the default format for saving photos/images, e.g. JPG, and not, as in versions 2022,2024, scroll through the list of available formats with each save and choose the one you use most often - so please add the option to define your preferred save format.b) similarly, you should add the option to select the default folder from which photos/images will be opened - now you have to go back to the source folder each time you open them. Interestingly, you can set the save folder when you first save a photo.

Auf meinen Windows 11 23H2 Thinkpad P1 Gen 4 3840x2400 Bildschirm baut der Organizer im Full-Screen Mode (Maximized Window) ständig das Display neu auf. Das heißt, es wird schwarz und dann wieder neu gezeichnet. Das geschieht vor allem, wenn man mit der Maus im oberen rechten Titlebar über den Minimize/Maximize/Close-Buttons ist ohne etwas zu klicken. Hat noch jemand diesen Effekt und gibt es einen Bug-Fix von Adobe?

Am I able to install my elements 14 onto a new computer?  Then, how do I get my picture files/catalog transferred? Thanks.

Mitten im Arbeitsprozess ist der Laptop ausgestiegen und ist nichtmehr startbar.Auf einem neuen Laptop habe ich Photoshop wieder installiert.Leider wird nachd er Installation gemeldet, dass die Anwendung bereits das Kontingenterreicht hat. Auf dem defekten Rechner kann ich keine Abmeldung mehr tätigen.Nun stelle ich fest, dass im Adobe-Konto die Installationen der Rechner nicht registriert sind, obwohleine Registratur erfolgte bei der Installation.Wie kann ich nun eine Abmeldung eines der Computer erzwingen?Danke für Hinweise.

Using Elements 2023 Organizer to download my photos from my camera Fujifilm FinePix S1 on Windows 10. It sees and downloads two copies of everything. Works fine on Elements 2022.

Many are telling me I should be shooting in RAW but I have found no evidence that Photoshop Elements 2023 supports my camera, OM 1 Mark II?? If not, would 2024 support it or is there another program I might be able to get as a plugin to 2023 Elements? 

On my workspace I have placed an image on a certain location but when printing it's on a different location and at the incorrect size.How to fix.

Hello,I bought Photoshop Elements 2022 (which appears in my adobe account) then bought the 2024 update. I bought a new computer but there is no sign of the 2024 update purchase in my account, therefore I cannot install it on my new computer (the serial number for the 2022 version doesn't work for the 2024 version). Is there a way to recover the serial number for the 2024 version? I am currently using the 2024 version on my windows tablet. Thank you.

Hallo,mit einer nicht nachvollziehbaren Tastenkombination, blende ich diese Bearbeitungsbutton ungewollt am unteren Arbeitsbereich aus. Alle Bemühungen eine Kombination zu finden, diese so wichtige Tasten wieder zu aktivieren schlagen fehl denn ich kann keine finden. Es hilft nur ein Neustart des Programmes von Photoshop Elements 2024. MfGdH

I have been trying to copy and paste part of an image into a new background.

Our patterns, using both the fill and stamp tools, do not appear to match the thumbnail selected.  We suspect the thumbnail pattern is being created in very, very small tiles that do not visually emulate the pattern.  We see no way of enlarging the pattern tiles to fill our layer similar to the thumbnail.  Interestingly, the ROCK patterns fill the backdrop layer fine.  We're not sure if this is due to an abnormality or poor settings on our part.  We are using Photoshop Elements 2023 on a Windows 11 computer.  Thank you for any help.  Please see our illustration below for an example:  

It appears that crop suggestions cannot be completely eliminated from the window in Photoshop Elements versions after 13. I absolutely hate this feature as every time my cursor passes over them, if the crop I have created has horizon straightening included, it goes away. I have to cancel and start over. It would be easier to live with if the click box for the crop did not relocate to a position close to the crop suggestions since accepting the final crop is when I accidentally pass over the crop suggestions. I am an event photographer (drag racing) and typically process around 500 images at a time, so speed is everything to me. Accidentally passing over the crop suggestions is a horrible time waster. I can't imagine anyone actually using the crop suggestions, so why can't they be removed from the screen? If there is a way, please let me know how.

I want to update Camera Raw in Elements 2022. I have downloaded the ACR 16.4 file and run the installer. I cannot find the update or navigate to the following:  /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats. I'm supposed to copy a .8bi file to the File Formats folder...but I don't have a .8bi file. How do I get to the /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CC/File Formats folder, and where do I find the .8bi file????? Thanks.

I am in Photoshop Elements 2024. I tried to make a moving creation from your web. I tried to save it. I can not get it to open in Photoshop Elements as a message comes up telling me it is the wrong type of file. I then go to the top of screen and click on Photoshop Elements Help....I go to Support.....I go to Forum.......in each case I get an error screen, image here. It appears to be something malicious. I can not get to help from Photoshop Elements. I had to go and do a google search for Photoshop help which brought me here. What is going on???  windows 10,  64
