Photoshop Elements

I am unable to print from the Editor in Elements 2024, but I can print from the Organiser. I had the same issue with Elements 2023, and was hoping that the problem woud have been sorted in the 2024 version, but sadly not it would seem. I am running Windows 10 64 bit on a i7 based PC,  with 16Gb of RAM

My wife and I have iPhone 13's.  For years I have imported my photos and videos from my iPhone to Photoshop Elements 2022 on my Windows 11 laptop.  The photos on my iPhone are JPEG and the videos are H.264.  For the first time, I tried to import photos and videos from my wife's iPhone.  On her phone, the photos are HEIF and the videos are HEVC.  Her photos will import as HEIC, but they do not import as JPG (as I prefer).  Her videos won't import at all.  Photos from my iPhone import as JPG and the videos import as MOV. My guess is that I need to change some settings in my wife's iPhone, but I'm 81 and almost no clue what I need to do. :-)))

I purchased Photoshop Elements 2019 and have been using it on a Windows computer for a number of years. Suddenly it won't work. When I try to launch it, I get a message that I have to update my Adobe software, my operating system and my web browser. However, Photoshop Elements is supposed to be perpetual, so I do not understand why I would have to do this. Also, my computer is old, so updating the OS is not an option. Any solutions?

Hi, Can anyone tell me which Photoshop Elements are compatible with Windows 11? I have an old Elements and need to upgrade, so need to be sure it is going to be compatible.

My Windows 11 PC BSOD'd after an update went bad, and after reinstalling Windows, and reinstalling Photoshop Elements 2023, every time I try to launch the Photoshop Elements Editor, it errors out with the above missing dll file error.  I have all the pertinent Visual C++ libraries (and I verified that specific dll was in the right places), but I followed the recommendations from the most promising support articles (like https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/missing-msvcp110dll.html?x-product=Helpx%2F1.0) anyway, but neither reinstalling those libs nor installing Creative Cloud Desktop helped. Any other suggestions?  Right now I'm DOA with pics from a recent trip that I can't edit... Thanks!Dave

Ich habe versehentlich bei Amazon eine MAC Version von Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 gekauft und diese auf meine Adobe Konto eingegeben. Exrts beim Download habe ich gesehen, dass es eine MAC Installationssoftware ist. Da ich bei Amazon nicht umtauschen kann, habe ich eine zusätzliche Windows Version gekauft. Kann ich die MAC Version wieder von meinem Adobe Konto lösen um sie an einen Freund zu geben? Sonst habe ich eine Version für die Mülltonne. Das tut weh.

I downloaded Elements today and started a free trial as I wanted to see if I could get the eyes open in some pictures. It didn't work so I want to cancel the trial before being charged, but I can't see how?

I bought an Adobe Elements 2024 upgrade to my Adobe Element 9 program on my Windoes 11 PC. I did it through my Adobe Account. The programme was not installed after purchase, and when I look at my account, I can see the invoice for Adobe Elements 2024 under "Orders & Invoices" , with an Order Number, but when I look under Products, only the old versions of Adobe Elements (and thier serial numbers) are shown, but no sign of the most recent purchase of Adobe Elelments 2024. How do I get Adobe Elements 2024 Installed in this situation, and how do I get my Serial Number? Any help is highly appreciated.

Hello community! I use Photoshop Elements 2024 and have a monitor with DUHD resolution = 7680x2160 pixels. When I want to use PSE in full screen mode, the thumbnails are displayed correctly. However, when I double-click on a photo, I only see a gray frame with a question mark. If I then drag PSE to a much smaller size, the photo appears. Does anyone have the same problem? What can I do? Many thanks in advance!

I downloaded and installed a trial of Photoshop Elements 2024 today. I imported a folder of pictures and told the software to not sync with the cloud. It did it anyway and put all of my photos in the cloud. I permantly deleted all of the photos in my Creative Cloud. I also turned off the Auto Upload Catalog Media in the settings under the cloud icon. The settings reset to On each time I exited and reentered Settings. I tried turning off the Auto Upload under Edit tab/Preferences/Auto Sync. The settings automatically turned back On when I closed the window and reopened it. Before loading Elements, I turned off the two share with Adobe options in my account. Adobe turned the "Content analysis for product improvement" function back on. This behaviour is very disturbing. It's as if Adobe wants my pictures and information no matter what. I'm pissed and ready to drop Adobe all together. Steve 

I using Photoshop Elements 2022 and now experiencing problems adding places to Places list, after selecting on map. Place names are going under wrong state in United States. For example, trying to add "Gatlinburg, Tennessee, United States" but it ends up incorrectly under "New Jersey". Or a separate listing for "Tennessee" does not let me add any place names underneath, i.e. "Gatlinburg", "Pigeon Forge", "Great Smokey Mountains National Park", etc., AFTER locating on map and selecting green checkmark. I have always added place names to my many thousands of photos, to organize and identify my collections. In previous versions I could easily add places directly in the Places list. Later versions require adding via selection on map. This problem has become extremely frustrating.Please advise.

Hello, I'm new to working with layers in Photoshop Elements 2018, and I apologize if this is a stupid question.I downloaded a template for a book cover mockup. It has Youtube video instructions, but they don't work for me. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=r1g_WoMc9vU)In the video the author double clicks on each layer and the layer opens and the images in that layer are shown "below" and can be replaced. (see screenshots 1 & 2)When I double click on a layer, nothing happens. I cannot get to the images in the layer.Is this because I only have Photoshop Elements, and not the full Photoshop like he has? Can I not use this kind of template?Thanks! 

Has anyone been able to get a solution for support on this?  I have rebooted and reinstalled so many time and still get the welcome screen that goes to Loading Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor Workspace and just comes back to this same screen.  It does nothing.  I have  a new machine with Windows 11 on it.  

I can't believe I just stumbled into the solution for this years long issue! I've tested it multiple times and it works - your scratch disk assignment will stick and save. Go to scratch disk settingsDouble click on the disk you want to assign -  a check box will appear in the column labeled "Active?"Click on the box to enable a checkmark - this will highlight that rowUse the arrows on the right to move the check marked disk up or down in priorityDo NOT uncheck the boxes after you assign order!Click OK. ( I'm running Elements 2020 )Close Photoshop ElementsOpen Elements - confirm scratch disk assignments persisted after closing.

I have a licenced copy of Photoshop Elements 10I have never felt the need to upgrade since I do not use it that much and 10 does all I need.Over the years I have installed it on 2 different computers. The first one crashed years ago and just recently the second one crashed. When I got a new computer I tried to install it but get the message that in order to install on another computer I must first disable it on one of the two computers I already have it on. (screen shot attached) Since both sytems are dead, I am can not disable it on either of them. Is there a way to bypass this and install Elements on my new system?

I am returning to use Photoshop Elements after a long absence and some loss of cognitive functions due to an infection; recently proved when trying a complex Excel sheet, many days spent clearing up my initial messup! Don't get old and ill! However to return to the current problem.I have moved last year, outside Elements a large number of image files; several thousands in 109 folders.There now reside in:- Acer/I/ScansI opened the 2019 catalogue and found the following:-//ALAN-HP/User//ALAN-HP/Usernetwork_drive$< !'Scans1091853104I:builtin_driveK /GDoes this mean that the catalogue is looking for the images in G; drive?If so can I change this to I drive.It would be quite a job to re-catalogue all those images so I hope there is way to restore this catalogue to my Elements 2021 setup.Note I have read an earlier question of mine but to be honest I don't think it applies to this problem:-https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-elements-discussions/

Is it possible to change the tool keyboard shortcuts on PSE2024 to match the shortcuts on Photoshop? Some are consistent, some are different. I don't know why adobe couldn't just keep them the same, so that we don't have to memorize new shortcuts

When I got a new desktop computer I put my Catalog on an EHD called Seagate #2. It  now has a number of subfolders included. Is this something I need to correct? It sure doesn't look like the version I had on my laptop which was just under MY Catalog with no subfolders.I will attach the snip of system info and also the organizer view.Would my Catalog be better if it does not have the subfolders?
