Premiere (Beta)

I have an ellipse mask in Premiere Beta v26.3.0.061 to create a vignette. I want to resize the whole thing but I only have bezier handles that warp the ellipse unevenly. How do I get back the bounding box that lets me resize the mask evenly?

Is there a way to capture a grade and a look that can be used on a completely different project/timeline with the new color mode? (We know them previously as LUTs) is there a LUT equivalent? My issue is we will shoot various pieces of content with the same setup and lighting and edit them separately. How can I copy that grade onto a new timeline/project or clips on a new timeline or clip outside of the one is was created on?

I am experiencing a flickering issue with the Color Mode in my current build of Beta (v 26.3.0.057 (2026-04-26)). Upon trying to figure it out in these forums, I noticed that there should be a new build that was released 2026-04-28. However, this build is inaccessible to me through Creative Cloud and it even says that my Premiere Beta is up to date.I really want to mess around with the Color Mode but it’s completely unusable right now with flickering when I try to change the exposure, contrast, etc. I also can’t properly sample a highlight or shadow and I can’t see any previews at all when I hover over the color and contrast tools. This is clearly a bug that was solved so I’d really like to update so I can continue practicing.I am working from Wisconsin and I’m working on a Mac, which is the only reason I can think of why I might not have the update yet. Please let me know if anyone else is experiencing this or if anyone knows how I can update Beta!! Thank you!!

Hello everyone,I am a sports video editor and a self-taught coder. For the past few month, I’ve been running a custom local broadcast console inside Premiere Pro to generate dynamic overlays (scoreboards, team rosters, timers) for rugby match highlights. Because traditional MOGRTs were too heavy for rapid iteration and batch exporting, I built a hybrid architecture using CEP, React, and a local Node.js server. Hi!I am using the color mode and when I click on something eg “contrast” I can’t really move the mouse with the track pad. I click it and it goes crazy and flickers and I can’t smoothly change it like it is advertised everywhere. Anyone else same problem? Working on MacbookPro M1 with recent MacOS.

Constant crashes make Beta unusable, I like to use it to preview new features, but it should still be mostly stable. Currently it crashes on window resizes, exporting captions moving items between tracks. This is happening on a couple of my PC’s and on all the available Beta versions, even when re-installing and resetting all caches, preferences etc. Is there something to be done here, or should Beta be considered unusable now? 

Hello,New color mode seems really cool, but how can I export LUT?The lumetri panel has moved into effects only and I don’t have any possibility to export a LUT.How can I do that?Thank you.

It bombs out whenever I open the Exposure HUD in today’s (24/4/26) version. It was ok yesterday. The HUD opens, but as soon as I move the mouse to change the settings the app crashes. Is this just me or is it a known problem? When will it get fixed?

After the April 23rd update, every time I open the new Color app, it closes by itself. I've tried everything, cleared the cache and restarted my PC, but nothing works...

I just spent the afternoon using the new Color module to grade a corporate video with a bunch of interviews sitting in the same spot without lighting changing. Rather than copy and pasting the first grade from one clip to individual instances, is there a way (or could there be a way) to apply the grade at a “source clip” level similar to Lumetri? That would be very nice to have and then if there happen to be any minor changes per clip, you could add another color adjustment on top to just shift the image as needed. Also helpful if you/a client needs changes to color. You wouldn’t have to go clip by clip to delete and paste on the new grade. There’s a chance this already exists but I’m learning by fire here lol. Overall has been a very pleasant experience thus far.

Is there a way to change the scopes location or reduce it size? Because I can't see my footage 🤡

Now in Premiere Pro beta, the Obsolete Effects folder and plug-ins, Obsolete Transitions folder and plug-ins, and presets built from the obsolete effects are removed.   These effects and transitions all have faster, modern alternatives either in Premiere Pro, or offered by third parties. Their current usage is extremely low but represent an outsized percentage of project slowdowns and performance bottlenecks. I’m experiencing an issue with the Object Mask Tool. When I click on it, the tool does not activate. The only way to make it work is to close the project and reopen it again. This issue keeps happening and is disrupting my workflow.

I have a PiP that that consists of an mp4 (V1) with an orb going from foreground to background (it gets smaller) and left to right. A man is running in the second mp4 (V2) inside the orb. This mp4 (V2) is masked. How do I get the masked mp4 on v2 to follow the orb in v1. I’ve tried manually keyframing the movements and following/shrinking the masked mp4, but the keyframes keep wanting to go backwards instead of forward. I’ve done multiple tutorials like the new auto tracking and also manual tracking, and keyframes going backwards, and many I can’t recall off-hand for almost two weeks now and still haven’t got it figured out. I’m sure it can be done, I’m just not sure what I’m missing. I’m about to start the whole process again but thought I would ask here if anyone can think of what I’m missing or where I should look to find what I need. Thanks!

I have gettign a lot of buffering Lately and I don’t undetadnd why..I just saved a copy of my project and it buffered for several minres; and went into “white-out” before it finallyb finished.Sometimes when I go into the workspace menu the same thing happens. Yesterday it went into buffering several times when I was accessing my workspaces. I couldn't duplicate to day. So it's inconsistent.
