Could we get an option to auto tone map superwhites?Footage from Sony A7Siii (S-Cinetone, Cine4 etc) looks blown out on import and have to bring whites down on each clip. 

I've been using the new Auto Transcriptions Captions feature for all of our programs (and since MacCaption is EOL, why not move to some Adobe magic). However, I have a lot of painpoints. 1. Please add a way to save Captions formats/layouts to apply to different projects. Right now, I have to set this up each time. 2. Add a way to integrate Speaker Nmes into the caption workflow. Right now I have to manually type in ">PERSON NAME: " before the first word, and Premiere doesn't know that's introducing the person talking. It's a clunky workaround, especially since it can differentiate speakers. A checkbox enabling "insert speaker names into captions" would be great. 3. Many times the generated script includes a word at the end of a section which belongs to the next person's section. There's not a way to click in and say, move down or merge with below and there should. In face, the merge and split don't always work, and I wish they did—maybe they would fix some of these is

I am trying to edit a video from Kauai from last summer.  The issue with the beta that I have run into is with DJI Air 2S drone footage.  When I play it back it keeps glitching and does not play smoothly.  But before anyone starts asking, "Well, what computer are you using, graphics card, amount of RAM, and blah, blah, blah" I can play the same footage in the latest PP version and it plays back smoothly. Then this happened.  I was getting so mad at how slow and glitchy the playback was, I decided to render a portion of the video.  I set the In and Out, went to file, export, set the correct video format and pressed enter.  Now if I render the same footage in the latest PP version, it would take a few minutes.  However, when I went to render in the Beta it said it was rending 228 or 409 audio previews and it was going to take over 24 minutes.  The audio previews thing struck me as odd because there is only one audio track under the drone foota

With the latest update, we have fixed the existing LUT indexing issue due to which adding custom LUTs to the technical or creative folders would break the previous relationship between all clips and LUTs selected and users had to manually re-link the clips.   Now, users can add custom LUTs without any impact to existing projects and clips. The custom LUTs added to the ‘Creative’ or ‘Technical’ folders will show up in the LUT dropdown when users launches Premiere and creates a new project. This will not impact LUTs selected in existing clips.   This impacts the following workflows - Adding custom LUTs to a clip will not break existing LUT relationships linked to a clip across the project. Transferring the projects between systems with different sets of custom LUTs will work seamlessly. The imported after effects compositions in my project, don't load in. The media pending screen stays on for ever. If i load in a new composition premiere pro crashes.

In order to ease the transition from an established Legacy Titler workflow to an Essential Graphics workflow, we have added two new commands that allow you to upgrade your Legacy Titles into Source Graphics in the latest Beta build of Premiere Pro. Using test edit in Premiere Pro Beta (23.6 Build 13) and the search bar doesn't actually search the whole transcript. I tmight provide me with one or two, but I also have the old transcription of the same sequence and I know the phrases I'm trying to jump to on the timeline exist, the program just won't find it. I'm talking simple words like "fun", it won't find

I am running Premiere Pro Beta 23.6 on Mac Ventura 13.4.1... All renders are hanging at 3% since I updated the premiere pro beta. I have tried creating new sequences, new projects and nothing is working. Help!

 

I do a lot scientific work with space images. My question is. Has any one of you used the Adobe premiere pro software as a scientific tool? I am looking for some input in this subject. Thank you all.

Steps to reproduce:1. Create a sequence to export as animated GIF2. Export3. Choose Animated GIF4. Choose a standard frame size5. Click "Custom Size" and lock proportions6 Enter a horizontal dimension and start typing "400"Result: ...First digit (typing "4") flips to a 1. Cannot start with 2, 3, 4 or anything else. Maximum small size is 199. In Adobe After Effects, if one duplicates any asset, the "new name-02" is auto-incremented to the next number or just adds a "2" if there is no number currently at the end of the title. I am requesting such in Premiere Pro instead of "... Copy 01..." that it adds now.  (or perhaps a preference to determine such behavior) Thank you.

Using the newest Premiere Pro Beta with an M1 Macbook Pro. When I reverse and change the speed of audio it plays back fine. But after I edit the levels with the pen tool, the audio won't play back. Current work around is using a fade transition.

Hello,Currently facing an issue where I am not able to transcribe sequences due to 'bad network response'. I have a perfectly normal internet connection to my PC and working on Adobe for Teams. This has only become an issue this morning, been working for the last few months fine. The auto transcription feature has suddenly stopped working entirely. When I perform Transcribe Sequence, it goes through the usual upload and processing. When the blue bar reaches the end, the whole thing stops and no transcription is ever created. It just sits there. I have tried multiple restarts, new project, etc. It no longer will transcribe anything I throw at it. 

I just worry about Beta users who may unwittingly not notice that the newest Beta (24.0.0) is a new project version (42). PR 23 was version 41.   If they are opening a PR 23.x project, they will get the "must be converted" message.   Stan  

As above - after pressing 'Create captions' the process gets stuck here. Premiere doesn't freeze or anything, it's just the process won't even start.  

IDEA / WISH:It would be great to be able to set the option to NOT automatic apply LOG to 709 transformation to a certain clip. (When in the general settings [auto detect LOG color space] is checked.)REASON: sometimes shots are recorded too bright. The standard LOG to 709 conversion gives a blown out image. WORK AROUND AT THE MOMENT: I re-encode the LOG clip in LOG and import it in premiere again. Then premiere does not recognise it as LOG and I can do the colorcorrrection myself. But this is time consuming.

Just having my first look at the Premiere Pro Beta.I believe it's supposed to have the new Firefly AI but I can't seem to do all the cool groovy things from the cool groovy promo.Did a search for tutorials but everyone is selling either an app or their social media brand.Wondering if anyone else who is excited about AI has hit the same roadblock as me.Cheers,Spurner

I was excited to hear about the text based editing available in the beta version of Premiere Pro. I am using 23.5.0 BETA (Build 31) on a 2021 Macbook Pro 14-inch. I opened up a project, transcribed a sequence, and see the transcript in the transcript window. However, I can't seem to actually delete text. I've used the delete key and tried right-clicking and selecting the ripple delete, but it isn't working. What am I doing wrong?

Can anyone tell me why the original grade is brighter when converting a project from Premiere Pro to Premiere Pro Beta?
