Premiere (Beta)

I have a sequence with only one codec (see specs below) and all clips have at least the Lumetri effect. I'm using a M1 Mac mini with 16gb ram. Sequence will not render in to out. Dialog box opens and closes right away. Render indicators are either yellow or red on timeline. Steps to reproduce:    1. After a sucessful transcription, when I try to load the transcript, it takes an extremely long time to show up in Text panel or Text panel is blank. Can't click on Transcript or Captions. I have to close the text panel, and bring it up again, or restarte Premiere. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v15.2.0.17    OS: macOS v10.16.0, RAM: 64.00 GB, CPUs (logical): 20

Sometime, i had already a text (for exemple when i used a prompter). It's possible to have a subtitle's creation (and synchonization) from a simple text (in place of audio) ?

Hello,I've installed the betaversion of premiere pro. And the new caption tool looks great.I've two questions:Can you import a STL file?When you reformat the sequence from an 16x9 format to a 1x1 format, do you have to reimport the caption file or will  the subtitle track also reformated?Thanks.Bart.

For the past 6 weeks I've had complete success with Premiere Pro (Beta) – but for the past 4 days, I've been unable to create a new project and open an existing one. I get the rainbow circle of death. I'm using a M1 Mini. Anyone else have this problem + possible solutions?? Gratitude, Myles

Hi, I am trying to caption a file that is QTLT.  There are a few segments in this file and it has a length of 28.30 for TV broadcast.  The problem I am having is that the open and close segments caption fine, however, the middle segment of the file does not transcribe. One thing to consider all files rendered in previous versions of Adobe Premiere Pro transcribe just fine with Adobe Premiere Pro 15.Please see the attachedon version 15.0Windows 10Intel I9 processor128 gigs of RAMNvidia 2060 super

Hi I already submitted for early access to Beta speech to text transcription and I'm in the middle of a documentary with an oscar winning team, is there any way to expedite so I can use today? When can I get access? Customer service mentioned Engineering may be able to see and help here. I posted yesterday but still don't have access. Please help.

Premiere Pro (Beta) this morning is crashing when I click the "Create Captions" button. I get the New subtitles and captions dialog box, and click "OK." The circle appears, but then the software crashes and closes.  Am I doing something wrong? 

Hello, I recently applied for the Text To Speach, does anyone know the typical time it takes for Adobe to get back to you? Thank you. 

After auto transcribing, I start reviewing and correcting the mistakes.  After going back and forth a lot between playing and editing, the editor gets locked up and freezes.  I have to restart the program to get back to work.

This is how I captioned the video and the captions look. Apologies for the terrible sound. I recommend turning off the volume as it has no bearing on this. The only caption changes I made was adding a background, I think. 

1. It needs to have a default of a black background with white text. This is standard best practice. I've tested the colors and find #242424 for the background and #fffff0 or #fffffd for the text work well for multiple disabilities. 2. One of the captions suddenly has a background and I have no idea why because Background is not checked. And even if I check it, the captions won't appear with a background I selected even though it's at 100% opacity. (Tried 0 too.) 3. When the captions transition from one to the next, they overlap briefly. Which doesn't make sense because the timeline does not overlap. They're next to each other. 4. One of the captions shows up highlighted the whole time (No. 6). I don't know why. There's nothing special about it. It shows up whether playing or not. Here's a video showing these problems.

Premire Pro simple daily project goes crazy in time when saving it loads up all the memory and sometimes crashes the system but most of the time it saves around 3 minutes with couple of MoGRTS and around 50 1080p images and one 5min timeline. So long story short that was never the case for the project to lad that long and load all available ram while doing it Couldn't load the project file here in the attachement, it says this: "The attachment's mf_238.prproj content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

Hello all,I'm testing the new caption tool for a while now, and it's very great. But I think I miss something very simple:1/ My clients often ask for a full size BG below the text (I mean from left to right) and not "under words only". They feel that distracting for the eyes. In the regular essential graphic pannel, I'm used to draw a simple rectangle (demi transparent) and that's all:2/ In the new tool, the design controls for that are limited (no layers available). So I use the BG option but it only affects the "words". Ok you can scale it but it will be based on the center of the sentence. Adding a simple x;y scale as separate option will solve the issue. Or allowing user to add a layer to caption.What do you think?best regards,

C'mon, for the love of all that's Holy, can we get this fixed?   I NEVER WANT THE PROJECT PANEL IN THE LOWER LEFT PANEL OF THE MAIN SCREEN.   NOT EVER. NOT NO WAY. NOT NO HOW!!!!!!!!!!   I use mulitple screens and I want my projects to ALWAYS be on my left (#2) monitor in the same panel group that has my Productions and Source panel.   Nearly every time I launch PrPro, I have to drag any open projects from the lower left corner of the 'main' window to the other monitor. Which oft means dragging 2-7 projects one by one back to where they should be, and where they were last time the program was open.   This is something that also gets complaints on the main user forum, and on other forums.   None of us understands why the Project panel is the ONLY panel that doesn't follow the rules.   Neil

So I'm doing a project in the 2021 public PrPro.   Use the option to "Edit sequence in Audition".   It opens the BETA version of Audition, not the shipping one. Whatever. So I work ... and use the option to export to PrPro.   Now, the Beta Audition opens the Beta version of PrPro.   I CANNOT work in public PrPro and send to public Audition with the current builds.   Um ... @mattchristensen  or anyone ... how to fix this on a PC?

Subititle background size not even, changes according to the letter. If the letter sentence have a letter with a tail or head like t, g, j etc the height of bg will increase and if it doesn't have that like e, o, u,c, etc it's bg height is lesser. I'll attatch a screenshot too.

Ive posted about this for over a year and this issue still hasn't been resolved. I don't understand why adobe hasn't fixed this? I have provided a video pin pointing the exact cause of this and this is still and on going issue. Adobe can you please look into this asap. Its affecting my work flow while working with RED 8K footage.

I'm on Mac Mini M1, running Premiere Beta 15.0. It's been crashing several times a day for the last few days, and I lose my work.1) I can't find out how to downgrade to Beta 14.x versions, is that not possible anymore? Those were the last stable versions for me.2) Is there a way for the application to auto-safe when it begins to run out of memory?3) I now can't open the app anymore, it seems corrupted. It usually opens and shows "scanning plugins" type behavior on the splash screen. It now opens to the splash screen, freezes, and never opens.

I tried to use the Beta version of Premiere Pro (I really wanted access to the automated speech-to-text transcription, but have failed to gain access to the feature, despite several applications and requests), and it has been the buggiest Adobe app yet. I understand that's what "beta" means, but it is turning out to mean "unreliable" for me. I'm working on a really important project for a client and I keep getting system crashes, unexpected quits, and general freezing of EVERYTHING. I've re-booted my computer, cleared out caches, made sure I have plenty of memory available, but nothing seems to help.And since I can't use the project I've created in Beta in previous versions of Premiere, I'm simply screwed. Not happy.
