Premiere (Beta)

The AE sequence that I had linked in my project won't load anymore - after converting the project to the Premiere Pro beta version. I have tried to convert the AE to the AE beta version as well, but that also is not working.

  I ran into an odd little issue while editing subtitles in the Captions panel. Before generating captions from the transcription was not a problem - no issues. But, once I generated captions and needed to make further edits, it would not let me double-click to edit.   By the way, I LOVE the AI audio enhancements (from Adobe Podcast) baked into the pie.

It crashes whenever I try to switch between workspaces. I tried few of them and it always crashes!

I'm working on the Adobe Premiere (Beta) and it was working fine yesterday, but when I turned on my comoputer this morning and tried to open the project, it stops loading it at about 3/4 of the way and just freezes. I also updated the application to the newest version and I am still having this issue. I also tried opening an auto-save version of that same project and same issue. The application is only opening when I start a new project entirely.

Sync settings from current release of PP (23.6.0) to the PP Beta (24.1.0.27) is not working for me. I've uploaded the settings with sync settings from PP 23.6 several times, and used sync settings to download from the cloud on PP Beta several times. The settings (window layouts, keyboard shortcuts) never appear on PP Beta. I uninstalled, deleted all files and reinstalled PP Beta, and it still does not work. I waited overnight hoping they would magically appear, and that didn't work, either! Unfortunately, I already began editing a huge timeline in PP Beta to take advantage of the text-based editing and AI dialogue audio sweetening features, but having to struggle with this bug, and I guess rebuild all my keyboard shortcuts is negating any time savings I gained.System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.1.0.27    OS: macOS v13.5.2, RAM: 32.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 10

Premiere beta 24.1 feedback:Speech enhance is not working properly due to:- during playback, if the mix is set at 7.0 there is an echo effect (improves when i set mix to 10.0)- during export, it does not export the enhance version (it sounds exactly like the original)I've attached the speech enhance sample for:- web speech enhance- premiere beta speech enhance export (that sounds like original)- originalFYI,Hope this is the right place to report on bugs for beta.

When I go to edit captions, hitting space bar acts like hitting the enter button and saves the txt. This means captions can only be one word. 

 In premiere pro, when I am trying to edit my captions, I double click on the Caption Tab in the Text Panel, and it only lets me edit one charcter (letter or space) of the caption before I have to double click the caption again. See the screen recording I took below to know what I am talking about.

Subject says it all, I've downloaded it through creative cloud. When I click launch it does nothing, theres no shortcut on my computer or anything

I'm opening a previously built video file and swapping graphic content of the same size and format (PNG). I've confirmed the graphic being imported is a PNG, no Alpha, same size (everything is a match, except the image). The image being swapped is coming in with a video icon but it's a .PNG. In the timeline it's showing absolutely nothing but if I double click the graphic in the timeline, the source window is showing the image correctly. I've opened the new image and resaved it as a PNG no Alpha but the same thing is happening.Images and system info attached.

I applied the Enhance Speech effect to a clip within a nested clip within a multicam clip. The effect did not carry over to the sequence created from that multicam clip. I was able to get it to work when applying the effect to the nested clip itself (within the multicam clip). 

I've been having trouble with a variety of audio errors in the beta app over the last few months. Everything from "audio not found" in a file to I/O disk overloaded, even sometimes saying audio not found in a sequence that has no audio on it. About 60-70% of the time I can't play a sequence without some sort of audio track dropping out. Exremely frustrating! I would just switch back to the latest version of Premiere, the problem is that the color management settings are getting all messed up and I get 2 totally different looking videos and in the regular version of premiere, the colors are all washed out and looks bland and garbage. I've played with all the different color options (auto map tone media, etc) but nothing works.Also- if I open up a copy of the project in 2023 (the colors get washed out) and then if I re-open that same project in Beta- the washed out colors stay (thankfully I've saved copies of the projects that havent been corrupted by 2023) Does anyone have any

I've got two sequences open.  I'm trying to drag a title from one sequence timeline directly into the other open sequence.  It typically works, but doesn't in the current beta version (24.01.0 build 24).

I updated Premiere Pro Beta earlier today, and it broke all my motion graphics.  They show up as if the file is missing. Meanwhile, I can find them in the Essential Graphics Browse list, but when I attempt to add one onto my timeline, I get the below error.  This worked perfectly fine last night.  I have deleted all of the motion graphics out of the C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Motion Graphics Templates directory and re-added them without any success. Any recommendations?  I've also noticed that my timeline is CRAZY slow.  I have a Ryzen 7950X with a 4070 Ti, and I can hardly scrub the timeline.  I have to wait 10-15 seconds, and then I can move it again.  Today's update borked things.

I have a project which I use as a template. I have saved a copy of this template in the latest beta version. Whan I select the template in the new project screen, it doesn't retain the formatting I have applied in the original template. for example, I have placed an image as a watermark, position, size and opacity are resetted.See screenshot below for reference.

I've been using beta for quite a while. With the most recent update, when I went to transcribe a video that contained VO that was recorded directly in Premiere Pro, it did not transcribe 30% of the VO dialogue. Also the audio levels still seem low when increasing the audio levels in the Essential Sound dialogue settings.  After completing my edit, I went to export, and the captions will not toggle on. I've tried my preset, custom, and general premiere pro settings and it won't toggle on under any of these circumstances.  This is for social and I have a specific style that has consistently used the captions I customized in Premiere Po. In past beta updates, the transcription and captions have never been this challenging.  Thank you! 

The delete button on the keyboard does not function, only backspace, when you attempt to change the file name while browsing for the file destination.

When using enhance speech the alst ~20% of the audio track the level just drops out. It looks so far to be one chanel but it renders an otherwise useful tool useless. Adjusting the mix amound either degrades the track sound (lovering) or makes the audio frop even worse (raising).

Premiere Pro Beta will not allow me to change text in essential graphics, even when I right click to edit properties, nothing happens.  I see no advantage to Premiere and I am now left regretting trying this beta garbage

It seems dynamic link isn't working for me. It was yesterday, then now today it isn't. When I attempt to relink, the dynamic link progress bar just keeps going. I also installed the After Effects Beta but that didn't help. I ran in administrator mode, tried importing the files within the adobe dynamic link directly. Not sure what to do at this point.
