Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.1.0.38 doesn't allow Import, New Bin, New Item, etc. in Project Panel.The options are greyed out, both in project panel (right click) and in File - New menu. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.1.0.38    OS: macOS v13.4.0, RAM: 128,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 24

 

I work on a (heavy) documentary project for months. Until days ago I was on Premiere Pro 23 automatically updated.  I then installed PPro Beta using the enhance voice that worked perfectly well... But from  then on it get worse and worse: first very slow to process any editing  action, even the most basic to just read the editing, and now the situation is that the project opens but then it takes like 5 minutes for seeing the image from the last editing point on the timeline to appear on screen, and then nothing more happens... impossible to read or do anything, it's blocked.I also updated the MAcOs, being now on Sonoma 14.0. I work on a MacBook Pro 2022 / Apple M1 Pro I have reimported the project in a New Project, but nothing changed.Thank you for your help! 

The timeline panel’s method of displaying content is now faster and smoother than ever.   We’ve made some under-the-hood changes to the way the timeline UI is displayed which is reflected in edits, drag/drops, and scrolling, especially on large panels. Dragging the playhead is more responsive.   The feedback on trimming, dragging transitions and effects will now draw a blue, shaded rectangle instead of using an inverted color.   Auto scrolling when dragging the playhead or clips or during edits, is now variable speed and much smoother.   Please reach out if any have any issues, questions, or feedback.     We want to know what you think.  Please join the conversation below.

Bonjour,Sur Premiere Pro BETA, lorsque je fais une modification de l'audio (l'option "optimiser la parole" dans le menu Amélioration essentielle de l'audio, et qui fonctionne très bien d'ailleurs), et que j'exporte ensuite la séquence, le fichier encodé ne prend pas en compte les modifications apportées (le son est le même qu'avant la modification).J'ai essayé plusieurs manieres d'encodage (en modifiant le type d'audio ou de codecs...) mais rien n'y fait.

You can now start a new project based on a template project in import mode.  It’s common to repeat your same workflow from project to project and pros have learned that  creating a project template speeds things up when getting started and gives you a head start on organization.     Any project file can be used as a template.  The entire project structure will be copied into your new project including all bins, sequences, and media.   Copying the media is handy if you have media that gets reused a lot like intros, graphics, or bumpers.  Essentially, we are creating a duplicate of the project with the new name and location.  Any media that you select during import mode will also be added to the new project, but of course you don’t have to import anything at first.   Here's how it works: Enter import mode by choosing “New project” from the home screen or File > New project. I am using a two camera MultiCam sequence with audio ONLY on camera A.I have created a single track sequence using my two camera multicam sequence and I can successfully remove Filler Words.I am using Mac OS Sonoma 14.0 (23A344) on an M1 Max MacBook Pro.However, when I try to remove Pauses, a majority of the clips no longer contain audio. The Waveformdata is still showing in the timeline, however no audio plays and the volume meter no longer moves (which tells me that the audio some how to out of sync) A rudementary workaround could be to create a seperate waveform audio track that is not tied to a multicam sequence and re-link it to the MC sequence. Please see 0:45 of the attached video for an example of where there is no sound.   

After completing the automated mask-tracking feature, when trying to make adjustments to the mask key frames, the pinwheel freeze keeps happening causing me to force-quit the app to continue. Also, is there no way to use the sequences or projects from this beta version in the regular version if this keeps happening or is all progress/work stalled out? 

So I'm in the process of testing out the text editor to insert clips but it's inserting the entire clip instead of only the highlighted segment. 

When I'm in a bin, say my sound fx bin, and I start to type in the Search bar in the upper left, say the work "fast" I only get the "f" and "a" before it starts to show results and then blocks me out of typing more.  Steps to reproduce:    1. ...Open a bin. Start to type in the Search filed. Result: ...You only get the first few letters of your search and it cuts you off and shows results for just the forst couple letters.Expected: ...Either it lets me type the whole word and hit Return, then do the search. Or it dynamicaly searches as I type but doesn't shut me out of typing. System info    Application: Premiere Pro (Beta) v24.1.0.42    OS: macOS v12.6.9, RAM: 32.00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 16

Minor bug:

Hello, I have an issue with adobe media encoder, when ever I transcode from h264 to pro res, my cpu goes to 100%, I have a Ryzen 5 3600, and an Rx 6650xt, and I'm using the latest media encoder beta.

Remix clip stuck up at %. This always happens.

Not really a bug necessarily, but just wanted to report to Adobe that there is a misspelling on the little tip pop-up when you hover over the "Enhance" button of the new Enhance Speech feature in Essential Sound on Premiere Pro Beta. It spells professional as "profressional." See screenshot for reference.

Hey I really want't to try the new enhanced speach function in premiere beta but it's not coming up in my essential sound panel as shown in the ads and how countless yourtubers explain it to be located.  Any help is very much apprechiated. Thank you

Anyone else have this issue with Frame.io and "Enhanced Audio"/AI audio feature? --the audio that is enhanced in your timeline is not exporting when you choose to upload via frame.io--the audio that acutally makes it into the sequence is not enhanced and or the regular audioI hope this gets fixed soon bc enhanced audio is a gamechanger and seamlessly working with Frame.io is even better!Thanks team!

Unable to select import, Ctrl+I, or double-click in the project folder to import new footage or content.

I am using a MacBook Pro with M1 Chip and 64 GB of Memory, the OS is Ventura 13.3 and I am using the latest version of Premiere Pro (Beta) (v23.4). I have been working a lot of the text based editing and the software will let me edit a little and then after a few minutes it crashes and other times it crashes immediately after I open the app.  steps to reproduce the problem:- Open file that links to premiere pro beta- open text based editing panel - edit and cut using text based editing- premiere crashes- go to auto-save and hope there's a more recent save- copy over what you lost and save again to the main file - app crashes again- double click to open the file again- premiere pro beta pops on screen and then crashes immediately. 

You can now access your Team Project’s Version and Auto Save History by selecting the Team Project name in the Premiere Pro header bar. I tried to update Premiere Pro Beta today but instead of updating it just send me to the regular Premiere Pro and on my Creative Cloud it says that the update is "Canceling..." but it hasn't canceled the update or changed it's status since. I've tried closing out of Creative Cloud fully and going back in which didn't work as well as reopen the Beta App and when it give the popup  "Update to the newest version", I've hit update to just run into the same issue again of the never ending "Canceling..." status. Any help or suggestions is much appreciated.
