Premiere Elements

I have Photoshop & Premier Elements 2024 bundle on my Win-10 PC. I'm contemplating either a Win-11 OS update on existing PC, or new hardware & fresh install altogether, TBD. But I would prefer to re-install this same  PSE 2024 version under Win-11. When the time comes, is it possible to enter my SR# & download? I tried searching community forum but replies seem a bit variable depending on date.  This more recent post seems to suggest that is not an option. As subject says, Will Premiere Elements 12 run on Windows 11, please?I bought this with Photoshop Elements 12 and have never actually installed it.  My teenage niece is wanting to get into video editing, has Windows 11, but I'm not sure it will run as the software is very old, of course.I just wondered if anyone has had any experience of installing on a much newer Win OSIt would be brilliant if it did.  Many thanks 🙂

Videos from my husband's phone normally load and play fine in my Premiere Elements 2023 editor on  Windows 11 laptop. Today, it says Your system need to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media. I've tried doing that in the past but it doesn't seem to help.  So now I go to Adobe Express online and convert the videos, 1 at a time, to .mp4    (Even tho they were already MP4) Does this make any sense to anyone? Thank you,Sharon

Running PRE version 24.0.  Windows 11 Home (automatically updated), Intel Core i7-14700, 2100 Mhz, 20 cores, 32 GB RAM.  Tried running Auto-Analyzer on various video clips of different formats (MTS, AVI, MOV, etc.).  Rarely does it complete its analysys, instead, it stops at different percents, and will proceed no further. Suggestions?

I am so extremely frustrated with Adobe Premiere Elements 2025.  There are too many bugs or problems to cover everything.  My most recent is that the program freezes up constantly and the only way out is to end the task through task manager.  Irritating as heck!!!  Then, I create some text and after I am complete, there is no way to get back a normal cursor arrow.  No matter what I do, it will only allow me to create more text.  What a complete waste of my money!!@!@

I use a variety of videos from my iphone 16, from my husband's Samsung phone, and now also from a GoPro 11 in Premiere Elements 2023 on a Windows 11 computer.Mostly it comes out fine.  Every once-in-a-while, one of the GoPro videos gets glitchy.  Meaning instead of a smooth video just one frame displays and it flashes on and off on and off repeatedly.  Last time I noticed one frame and then the same frame again but upside down and they were both flashing that way.  After a couple seconds it moves on to the next clip and all else is fine.  What I usually do to fix it is put it in a new project by itself and export and then use that file instead.Is that familiar to anyone?  Any tips?  Thanks,Sharon

Nach dem Kauf und der nachfolgenden Installation und Aktivierung des Programms mit dem Poduktschlüssel, lässt sich nur der Videoeditor und der Organizer öffnen. Beim Versuch den Fotoeditor zu öffnen kommt immer ein Dialogfeld von einer Testversion 2025 und einem Downloadlink. Der Fotoeditor lässt sich also nicht öffnen. Ich möchte auch keine andere Version mit einer befristeten Lizenz. Wir komme ich nun weiter ? - Vielen Dank mal im Voraus... L.G.

Hi! I posted some threads on here a few months back asking for help and got some great support - thanks again! At the time I had achieved what i wanted to, and i havent used the Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 software since.Now, i've come to use it again and i'm facing some issues.... maybe i'm doing something wrong... and would apreciate some help. I have a 'project' that i created months ago.  I'm finding it easy to edit the segments of video in the project.However, i want to add other videos into the project and this is where i'm struggling. I am going to 'Add media'>'Elements Organizer'... then i have some videos in there that i added months back...So, i select the fil and click 'Add file'... and it adds it... great!However... i cant then open that video to edit... and it shows differently to the other video segments already in the project... in that it is greyed out.... Any advice appeciated! Thanks  

Gibt es den Rauschunterdrückungsfilter DeNoise in Premiere Elements 2023? Wenn ja, wie kann ich diesen aktivieren? 

I just upgraded to Premere Elements 2025 worked on some og my jobs and everyting was fine. Wentr to my last job and when exporting I get and error. See attached erroe message.Thanks in advance for help.Jim

These question marks appeared while I was creating an new album, both in the new album and in my ALL Media tab 

I upgraded Premiere Elements 2012 to 2018 and never used it again. Loved 2012, just the rendering drove me mad. Now I don't like 2018 at all and don't find a way to go back to 2012. All sucks. One of my problems with 2018 is that you hardly see the scissors and therefore, while selecting clips I keep cutting them. There are other video editors where you can easily change the position of the scissors, not so in this one, not that I can find. All really sucks hugely. If Filmora hadn't taken away many features from my Perpetual License, I would have stayed with them, this way it has become too restricted. Tried Elements 2015, didn't like it at all!Another function they don't have is the ability to add tracks in the middle of other tracks, even if Google says that it has, and that is so needed when you are organizing your clips............. awful! 

Ich habe vor 2 Monaten einen 15-Minuten-Film fast fertig geschnitten. Ich hatte 2 Spuren für Bild-Schnitt, 1 x Musik, 1 x Kommentar (Sprache). Bis auf seltene kleine Probleme lief der Film immer flüssig und einwandfrei. Jetzt wollte ich den Film fertig machen und haben ihn wieder in die Timeline geladen. Vor- und auch nach dem Rendern läuft der Film nicht mehr richtig. Es gibt abwechselnd und fast ständig Aussetzer bei der Sprache, Aussetzer bei der Musik und das Bild bleibt manchmal für Sekunden hängen. Wenn man kurz stoppt und wieder startet, ist die Wiedergabe für einige Sekunden einwandfrei. Die Frage ist nun, warum hat es bei Erstellung des Films funktioniert und einige Wochen später nicht mehr.  Ich würde nun vermuten, dass der PC zu langsam ist. Um dem vorzubeugen, habe ich im Dezember 24 einen neuen schnellen Laptop gekauft:Laptop: ASUS ZenBook S16CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 9 mit integrierter AMD Radeon 880M Grafik.RAM: 24 GbyteFestplatte C:  SSD  1000 GByteWindows 11Alle

Hi, I am using premier pro elements 2025 and i am getting an error message when rendering. I can export okay, no problems on that front. I've been trying to solve the problem for about 2 months now. I've even uninstalled the programme, tried various types of video's but as yet, unsucessful. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I try to import m4a music file to Adobe Premiere 7, I've got the error message “This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed”.Please help. Thank you.

Hello Editors, I have recently upgraded from Adobe Premiere Elements 2015 to 2025 and I can see there are some great enhancements in this version. For some reason I'm unable to assign keyboard shortcuts to 'Mark In' and 'Mark Out' buttons of Source Monitor. The default 'I' and 'O' keys don't work. I couldn't find 'Mark In' and 'Mark Out' in Keyboard Customisation option. I have looked into some community discussions and they are having the same problem with Premiere Pro, not Premiere Elements. I tried some of their suggestions but nothing worked. Hoping to get some help here otherwise I might have to return this software and ask for refund. I cannot imagine editing without this keyboard shortcut. Thanks. 

Installation is blocked by error code 183, missing MSVCR120.dll file. But that file is present in the Windows/System 32 folder. Please help

So, I'm using the 2024 version, and I am encountering the red screen of death on 4 of my videos this morning.  I was on a call with support for an hour, and then he just hung up on me and didn't help.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can retrieve my videos?  They have all changed to a red screen, with upside-down white writing that says Support Unavailable (truer words never spoken, haha).   [Branched from old thread by mod]

I hope I explain this correct. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. I have two DJI Mic 2's, and when they record, the audio tracks are on 2 seperate channles. So one person is the left channel and the other person is the right channel. It is offputting to here it come out of the speakers that way, so is there any way to combine the channels. Like make stereo mono or something like that. I've already tried fill left with right and fill right with left. But it only works for one channel. Whichever one I apply last. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Am I missing something? All suggestions I've seen are not present in Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. Maybe they removed them. 

I just started with PE upgrading from Windows Movie Maker would you believe!One thing I do a lot of is trim unwanted footage from clips.I have watched multiple YT vids and read instruction posts but am having trouble.If I cut a clip (say the first part) and then use ripple delete to delete it, when I start playing the remaining video the audio is out of synch with the video and I am forced to undo it. This happens wherever on the timeline I do it so I have not been successful in deleting any footage.I would appreciete it if I could be directed to what I am doing wrong.Thanks.

When introducing text to video, playback is distorted (flickering). Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Hi new user here. Try to create custom keyboard shortcuts. No problem.Save the Custom set. No Problem Reported. However if I close and re-open, it goes back to the default set and does not show the saved set in the dropdown list. I couldn't find an answer in either the forum or the help files. Steve

Does this function work the way it is suggested? If so, I can't make it work and I've had Adobe products for decades. The two most obvious contenders for the process are Project Assets and Add Media. Yet these seem pretty immovable.Now I know full well that Elements is not Pro. I have Pro; I geddit. But why go to great length to illustrate a feature in Elements that doesn't seem to do anything useful? Related to the this, why does the dual monitor mode not releaee all the function panels and why does full screen mode not offer a choice of monitor?

I am loading Elements 2024. The Editor will open fine, but the Organizer will open for a few seconds and then shut down. I have removed it and reloaded it, but no success.
