Premiere Elements

Ich habe vor 2 Monaten einen 15-Minuten-Film fast fertig geschnitten. Ich hatte 2 Spuren für Bild-Schnitt, 1 x Musik, 1 x Kommentar (Sprache). Bis auf seltene kleine Probleme lief der Film immer flüssig und einwandfrei. Jetzt wollte ich den Film fertig machen und haben ihn wieder in die Timeline geladen. Vor- und auch nach dem Rendern läuft der Film nicht mehr richtig. Es gibt abwechselnd und fast ständig Aussetzer bei der Sprache, Aussetzer bei der Musik und das Bild bleibt manchmal für Sekunden hängen. Wenn man kurz stoppt und wieder startet, ist die Wiedergabe für einige Sekunden einwandfrei. Die Frage ist nun, warum hat es bei Erstellung des Films funktioniert und einige Wochen später nicht mehr.  Ich würde nun vermuten, dass der PC zu langsam ist. Hi, I am using premier pro elements 2025 and i am getting an error message when rendering. I can export okay, no problems on that front. I've been trying to solve the problem for about 2 months now. I've even uninstalled the programme, tried various types of video's but as yet, unsucessful. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I try to import m4a music file to Adobe Premiere 7, I've got the error message “This type of file is not supported, or the required codec is not installed”.Please help. Thank you.

Hello Editors, I have recently upgraded from Adobe Premiere Elements 2015 to 2025 and I can see there are some great enhancements in this version. For some reason I'm unable to assign keyboard shortcuts to 'Mark In' and 'Mark Out' buttons of Source Monitor. The default 'I' and 'O' keys don't work. I couldn't find 'Mark In' and 'Mark Out' in Keyboard Customisation option. I have looked into some community discussions and they are having the same problem with Premiere Pro, not Premiere Elements. I tried some of their suggestions but nothing worked. Hoping to get some help here otherwise I might have to return this software and ask for refund. I cannot imagine editing without this keyboard shortcut. Thanks. 

Installation is blocked by error code 183, missing MSVCR120.dll file. But that file is present in the Windows/System 32 folder. Please help

So, I'm using the 2024 version, and I am encountering the red screen of death on 4 of my videos this morning.  I was on a call with support for an hour, and then he just hung up on me and didn't help.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can retrieve my videos?  They have all changed to a red screen, with upside-down white writing that says Support Unavailable (truer words never spoken, haha).   [Branched from old thread by mod]

I hope I explain this correct. I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. I have two DJI Mic 2's, and when they record, the audio tracks are on 2 seperate channles. So one person is the left channel and the other person is the right channel. It is offputting to here it come out of the speakers that way, so is there any way to combine the channels. Like make stereo mono or something like that. I've already tried fill left with right and fill right with left. But it only works for one channel. Whichever one I apply last. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? Am I missing something? All suggestions I've seen are not present in Adobe Premiere Elements 2023. Maybe they removed them. 

I just started with PE upgrading from Windows Movie Maker would you believe!One thing I do a lot of is trim unwanted footage from clips.I have watched multiple YT vids and read instruction posts but am having trouble.If I cut a clip (say the first part) and then use ripple delete to delete it, when I start playing the remaining video the audio is out of synch with the video and I am forced to undo it. This happens wherever on the timeline I do it so I have not been successful in deleting any footage.I would appreciete it if I could be directed to what I am doing wrong.Thanks.

When introducing text to video, playback is distorted (flickering). Any suggestions on how to fix this problem.

Hi guy's, hope you can help I installed Premiere Elements 15 about 5 hours ago and so far have been unable to get imported videos to playback without pausing after 1 to 3 seconds.Video File type is .movSystem: Mac OS 10.12.4, Mac Pro (2010) with a 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon processor, 16GB memory, AMD Radeon HD 7970 3072 MB video card, running on a OWC Mercury EXTREME Pro 6G SSD.I have run through all the troubleshooting on Adobe site, and through similar forum questions, all with no luck - the video just keeps pausing after a few seconds.The video files play perfectly in QuickTime, Adobe Lightroom, and iMovie.I've tried converting to .mp4 format, but that makes no difference either.I've tried rendering the video, and that makes no difference (there is no yellow bar above the video with I import it onto the timeline).I'm at a loss. Could anyone offer any insight or away to fix this problem? Thank you so much for your time and help 🙂David.

Hi new user here. Try to create custom keyboard shortcuts. No problem.Save the Custom set. No Problem Reported. However if I close and re-open, it goes back to the default set and does not show the saved set in the dropdown list. I couldn't find an answer in either the forum or the help files. Steve

Does this function work the way it is suggested? If so, I can't make it work and I've had Adobe products for decades. The two most obvious contenders for the process are Project Assets and Add Media. Yet these seem pretty immovable.Now I know full well that Elements is not Pro. I have Pro; I geddit. But why go to great length to illustrate a feature in Elements that doesn't seem to do anything useful? Related to the this, why does the dual monitor mode not releaee all the function panels and why does full screen mode not offer a choice of monitor?

I am loading Elements 2024. The Editor will open fine, but the Organizer will open for a few seconds and then shut down. I have removed it and reloaded it, but no success.

Why was the scissors option removed from the playhead in 2025? I find it makes editing more  cumbersome.  It was so much easier to be able to cut a clip from the playhead without having to specifically enable the scissors tool from the quick tools panel or keyboard. I remember when this feature was added a few versions back and I said "This is a great idea."  And now someone thinks it's an "upgrade" to get rid of it? It is one of several changes from 2024 that make editing less efficient by adding extra steps not needed before. Such as now when you right click on a clip the option to delete either the video or audio portions of a clip are gone and now you must first unlike the auto and video and then clear the porton you don't want.  I don't understand how removing features improves things.  2024:

I noticed that my timecode was running too fast (about double speed).  So, for instance, if I imported a 1 min long clip, it would show as 2 mins.  I fiddled with the settings and changed it from 'drop frame' to 'non drop frame' and things work normally.  The source material is 60 fps, and my project settings are 1440p @ 60fps, so everything matches.

I have a backup of a old drive of mine from 2016 with an install of Adobe Premiere Elements 14 & I'd like to see if there's a way to retrive the serial number from the drive it's installed to. I had a boxed copy of the software from the same time, but I can't find it at the moment. Looking through old emails & booting up Premiere Elements 14 when booting from the drive, it was linked up to a old Adobe account that I believe was been deleted due to not logging into it for a while (which I never got any notice about). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just upgraded from Premiere Elements 18 to 25.  In this version, it seems that I cannot change the volume of an Audio channel multiple times within a video.  If I start with Audio 1 at 1dB, for example, then decrease the volume later while I'm narrating, the initial volume also decreases to the same level -- is it possible to have volume changes in a given channel during a video?  How do I do that?

Has Steve's Muvipix.Com website been moved? When trying to connect to it via the Firefox browser I get a page from IONOS stating that "This domain has been registered via IONOS and is not yet connected to a website."

Hello community,  The drop down menus (File/Edit/Find/ etc.) and the Sort By: & Filter: drop down menus do not work. This has been an issue from the first time I downloaded the Elements bundle after purchase. I contacted Adobe support and requested a remote session without any success.  Adobe support did not correct the issue. Previous 2023 Elements products were unistalled.  Recently I thought I would attempt to use the Organizer and maybe attempt to fix the issue. The issue is still present. If any users have solved this issue please share your solution. Thanks. Daniel 

I try to add 113 images for a video as a group, and there are many that have added the word opacity to it.  What is that about?

Is there a way for doing that for adding titles ?

Coming from APE 2021 I used the time remapping feature just fine.  The window opens to allow zone additions and all that it does.  Upgraded to APE 2025, using the same computer, Win 11, the time remapping window doesn't open.  I have used this before in 2021 and do know I have to select the clip etc.  In 2025 all that opens is the right side panel with a range slider with 2 blue sliders that allow for ONE range setting only.  There is also a range speed slider, clip duration and ramp checkbox.  Save and exit button.  No window opens with the thumbnails below to select different zones and speeds.  How is this an upgrade Adobe?My search through Adobe instructions all picture this necessary window in their 2025 information.  I can't find anyone else that has expressed this problem, on boards, google, or Youtube.It does function but without the window I can only do one time zone per clip.  This sucks, what am I doing wrong? I've looked EVER
