Premiere Elements

Hi, a question about copy-paste text in Adobe Premier Elements 2021. When I add text to my video and want to copy-past the same type of color, size and font, I can not change the text. If I do, I will also change previous text that I copied and pasted from. Why do I have to start over with a new text entry, create a new color, choose a new font and more instead of just copy-paste-change the new text?Any solution?Best regardsJan Jansson

(I'm using 2021, version 19.)  In the expert mode, if I create a clip in the middle of my timeline, then right click it, Delete and Close Gap is not an option, so I choose Delete.  That leaves a gap which I then have to right click, at which time I can Delete and Close Gap.   Is there a more efficient way to do this?

I am trying to activate Premiere Elements 2018 on a new computer. I no longer have access to the old computer as the hard drive crashed. I have worked with a chat agent and they sent me here after trying to work through this issue. I can not find any place in creative cloud desktop or the adobe account website to deactivate or sign out of all computers. How can I get the activate count reset so that I can use this software on the new computer? Thanks

Premiere Elements 2019.To quickly add visuals to a speaker's presentation, I created slides in PowerPoint, did timings, and then exported as an mp4, which I added to the Project as "Video 2." I made PPT the background "green screen" so Premier would detect it and use ChromaKey to remove the borders. When the project compiled/exported as an mp4, as the slides faded out, There'd be a brief white "flash." Attached is a frame-by-frame of one instance. Note rows 4 and 5. The original PPT slide is in the lower right corner.Can you tell me how to avoid this behavior?Thanks in advance.

I've installed latest version of PRE 2021. It shows my GTX 1650 Super in the preferences, but lists it as "unsupported": It's clearly listed as "supported" on the website: https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/gpu-acceleration.html I have latest NVidia Studio driver: 471.68 (release date 10/08/2021).Premiere Elements 2021 version 19.0 (20210809.daily.2242976), activated (not in trial mode which doesn't support GPU acceleration). Any hints? 

Well, like an idiot, I bought both Adobe Premeire and Photoshop Elements. I've now tried 3 graphics cards that are listed in their 'supported hadware' list, all NVIDEA devices and none show up as valid graphics cards in the settings on Peremiere. They show as being valid for Photoshop. So now having spent many hundreds of pounds on both hardware and software, what am I supposed to do. Keep buying graphics cards until one works? The support for Adobe (unless you are stupid enough to subscribe to their over priced subscriptions) is the worse I've ever experienced! Not one way to contact them directly. I can't even find out where to get a refund and return the software. My colleague uses open source vidieo editing software and has no issues at all. Like an idiot, I fell for the marketing hype from Adobe - just wish they put a little of their advertising budget into support. I don't want a lot, just to know what hardware will work with this software. I used Elements 2015 for years without issue and now that I am running the 2021 version, it is freezing up and slow. I have lost so much work that I could scream. It is not my top of the line Lenovo with 16gb ram, as I am using Filmora X without any issues at all. I doubt I will continue to use Elements, but I would like to know if there is a quick fix just for my own peace of mind. In a way it was a expensive blessing, as I find Filmora X far superior and does much much more at 1/2 the price. 

Creating an ISO image of a 2 hour 16 minute movie with menu markers and menus (newspaper motif).  When I try to burn an ISO image to disk, it spends 25 minutes encoding the menus and the movie, then announces "Burning ISO image", gets to 2%, and hangs.  APE will then not exit and has to be force-stopped.  A retry fails in the same way. Windows 10, all up-to-date.Target disk is 1T SSD with 931 GB available.Disk diagnostic shows NO errors.CPU has 16G RAM.No applications other than "normal" for Win10 are running. I have created ISO images of this size before with APE 2020 using the same disk as the target.  I need a workaround.

I have installed trial version (2021) and it looks like I can like it.BUT, I am not allowed to play the video files (and audio) in the program itself (only in organizers).I have tried different ways to arrive at it, and different video files (size, quality).I remember that a while ago I also tried Premiere Pro on the same computer, and there the playback of the videos was ok. Windows 10 Pro, 64 bitIntel Core i7 (3rd generation) 3630QM / 2.4 GHzDDR3 SDRAM, 16 GB, 1600 MHzAMD Radeon HD 7870M - 2 GB GDDR5 SDRAM

I have an old Premiere Elements project that I need to open in that program. (Premiere Pro says it can't open it because there is some problem.)  When I try to re-install Elements, it will not accept my user name/password. I have the password as 6 groups of four digits each, separated by dashes. I'm certain it is correct, and I have tried entering it with and without the dashes. As for user name, I've tried my first name, first and last names, initials. Nothing works. Any suggestons would be apreciated!

I have had Premier Elements 2021 on my computer for a while and have used it without any issues until two days ago (September 2021).My colleague is experiencing exactly the same issue that started at the same time. Both my application and a colleagues application are triggering crash reports any time we try and enter the program.We have uninstalled and reinstalled a clean version and that does the same.This is a new problem that has only started for both of us in the last few days and think it may be to do with an automatic update that you have released. Please tell me how I resolve this urgently.

Wanting to upload (transfer) old VHS tapes to my PC, is there any way that PRE20 could do this? Is there a way to record the input to a project etc? Alternatively, anyone know of a reasonably priced software to do this?

I have tried to edit the project settings so I can do 1080x1920 (vertical video) videos for Youtube Shorts however, the settings seem to be locked. I have tried editing as soon as the program opens up and creating a project with a preset to then attempt to edit again, but I have been unsuccessful. Has anyone experienced these issues? 

I am a familiarly new user of 2018 Elements, however I have completed two full video projects this month. I am trying to work on my third project and the video loads into the project assets, and I can see my video image dispay, however I cannot edit or play the video. I've gone back and tried to play the other two projects I've completed this month and none my videos are loading to run/play.  Every time, I try to edit a new project or play a video that I have fully edited previously it does not play and I get the default windows loading circle.I've tried the basics restarting my machine and re-executing Elements number of times, however nothing is working. I've not done anything to my machine or Elements. Again its not allowing me to play or edit my videos in project mode as of recent. Please help

I am currently using Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 version 19.0 (20210809.daily.2242976). Whenever I render changes, the playback is jittery. It doesn't matter if I'm rendinering a large file or a very short file, (11 seconds long complete with a downloaded video and attached audio track plus one title). Might there be some "preferences" that could handle a rendering playback" smoother? 

Recently, I had KODAK convert my home videos to a disk and an memory stick.  But, I cannot open them with Windows Media Player, or the Dell version of that or the Movies and TV app.  I wanted to direct my PC to use Adobe Premier Elements 2021, but I don't see a way to do that.   I am trying to open them on my E drive using a memory stick.  I want to make sure I can open them before I import them onto my PC.  Please advise.    Moved from Premiere Pro to Premiere Elements... I just finished rendering a video I made, and for some reason it plays back in slow motion.  This wasn't the case before I rendered it--it was totally fine and playing at normal speed.  But when I render it the video always plays back in slow motion. The audio is normal speed, so could this just simply be a problem with the playback?  Is it that my computer can't handle the playback for some reason?  I've never come across this problem before, and it's very odd.  I hope someone can help...

I have lost my installation number for premiere elements 15. I got the file at a course, and it is not registrated at Adobe. I do not want a newer version, but i am ready to pay for a new registration number.

I had to buy a new computer and installed Premiere Elements and Premier Photoshop again. Photoshop had no problems, but Premiere Elements tells me it's already installed on the maximum amount of computers. I had it on my old computer and deactivated it there. I want to edit a video clip now in Organizer in Premier Elements, then save the entire edited video back to Organizer with the same filename and filename extension and resolution as the original video clip, only with the filename extension "_copy", just as I would do for a jpeg in Photoshop Elements editor, and not use the "Export and Share" of Premier Elements, which would lose resolution and maybe change file name extension and codec, and then I would have to reimport it back into Organizer  Is this possible?  I want to use the edited clip in a slideshow, and not make a movie.

When creating titles, how do you insert accented characters common in Spanish and French? Normally my Mac allows me to hold a key down and a list of options appears. Or, I can click on the Keyboard Viewer on my Finder Menu Bar and find the appropriate Latin character. How is this done? Thanks.

Now when I put in the (confirmed official) license, it says it cannot validate the license and to get in touch with customer service. Which I did on Chat.
