Premiere Elements

Dear Friends, I purchased many yars ago, the suite 8 Pro of Adobe Elements and made a movie that untill now I was able to see normally even with the newest versions of the program (12, 14 18....). Since I upgraded at the suite 2020/21 recently, when I try to see the old movie, make with the 8 Pro version, I can see it, but with a black band in the middle, where is written that the 8 version trial time has expired.Is there any possibility to make that band disappear to see my video as before?(Always purchased original programs from Adobe).Thank you for the answer.

Prem El 20 - can't authorise acces to YouTube,  It's supposed to be automatic the first time you try to export, but it never came up and I just get a blank grey box.  How can I do this manually?

HelloWhat does this pop up mean, plse? I get it when I try to edit a clip in Prem Elements 11. The Adobe link referred to, does not exist. 

I have a 2017 iMac with 24 GB of ram, an i5 3.8Ghz processor and a Radeon Pro 580 8 GB graphics card.  I am presently trying out the 2021 Premiere Elements trial version which says it doesn's support GPU acceleration. I have the comercial product on order and am waiting for it to be delivered. My question is, will the GPU acceleration in the full version make a big difference in the choppy slow editing?  If not I think I will return the unopened version once I recieve it, as I find the present choppy and slow performance very frustrating and almost unusable..... Thanks in advance for any comments you may have. 

Hi everyone. I seem to have a rather unique issue. I browed the community, but couldn't find my exact issue, so I hope someone here can help me out. I made a video a while back and exported it. It contained titles and texts. All was well. Today, I decided to change something in the video, so I opened the program, cut something out (that's all I did--cut out maybe 5 seconds of videoframe), saved it under a new file name and then exported it under a new file name (it's really the same name with a 1.1 attached). After the export, when I open the new video, suddenly my titles are gone. The text in the video is still there, but the beginning title and end title do not show. Instead, I get a few seconds of black screen until the video starts and a few seconds of black screen after it ends. I tried rendering. I tried moving the titles into different Video sections. None of that helped. (I should mention: I also have an image attached to the titles on a separate video line, but

I made the mistake of taking some footage with an old Canon Vixia HV30 and now unfortunately I'm not able to save the video to my computer.  I was successful on the same desktop about 5-6 years ago running Windows 7 and using Adobe Premier Elements 11.  I used a firewire adapter to download the HDV from the Canon. After upgrading the desktop to Windows 10 I didn't have occassion to use the camcorder until now. Unfortunately while Premier Elements recognizes the camcorder, it crashes everytime I press "pause" on the capture screen.  (Yes, I confirmed tha the project settings are for 1080i HDV.)  I thought that perhaps using the latest Premier may resolve the issue. Unfortunately Premier Elements 2021 doesn't even recognize the Canon. Any suggestions or help in dowloading the video for editing woudl be very helpful  Thanks in advance.

Why can't I used a second monitor for playback on Premiere Elements 2020?I know this is possible on Premiere Pro via the preference/playback/ 2 monitors.Am I missing something here??

Hello all. I'm new to this forum and fairly new to video editing. Here's my quandry in as few words as possible.I mainly record audio, and in many situations I find myself needing to compile videos from multiple sources and sync all of them to one single audio file. It's clear how to deal with situations where the audio falls basically right in the middle of a frame, hence creating a very obvious lack of sync between A and V.  Just adjust the beginning of the audio to match the video. I've done it million times and it's easy.  But in a situation where one of the videos I get is synced up well and others aren't, adjusting the audio (music) is not an option on a per-clip basis unless you want horrible skips and surges in the music. Obvioulsy unacceptable.So, I think I understand that it's not possible to move video by less than one frame. But is it possible, even in a utility outside of Premiere, to convert to double the frame rate, trim one frame from the beginning of the clip

I'm trying to update Premiere Elements to the latest version. When I close the program and try to install the update I get the message 'Couldn't start Update Manager. Retry after some time'I've been getting this message for a couple of days now. It's followed by 'There is no application set to open the URL auphd://update?sapCode=PRE&baseVersion=19.0&platform=osx10-64&skipUpdateinfo=true.'I'm running on a 2020 IMac under BigSur. Many thanksChris 

Hi all.  I've been a long-time user of Premiere Elements 9.  I have not felt the need to upgrade, but now I'm interested in some of the new features, as well as the ability to create projects in 60p.  So I downloaded the trial version of Premiere Elements 2020.  (The 2021 version is not compatible with my PC)Trying it out on previous projects, I noticed a filter was shown as "Offline", unavailable.  It turned out to be the Brightness/Contrast filter.  It seems v.2020 does brightness/contrast a different way, with a button on the side that allows this adjustment.  This means that a), I can't open older projects in the new version, as all my previous adjustments would need to be redone.  b) Worse, there doesn't seem to be a way to "animate" the adjustment, so that it changes with time across the clip.  This is essential for me, as I have many clips where the exposure changes as the scene changes, and different adjustments are needed at differe

i had premier elements years ago. Now i bought the 2021 versionto relearn and use. Im interesting in creating a fancy 5 to 15 sec intro screen forr my youtube videos.  I notice there are a lot of templates offered online. It looks like they only work with the Pro Version? I guess i dont want to waste time with these if they only work with Pro. I assume they only work with more advanced features in the Pro version.

Good morningI processed a video with Premiere Elements 2019. The original video is a Full HD (1920 x 1080). Viewing it full screen from the timeline, the video is of excellent quality. After exporting to the PC, keeping the same resolution - MP4-H.264 format; I dragged the quality bar to "high". Unfortunately, the possibility of intervening on export parameters is almost nil. After exporting, I played the video from the PC and the quality deteriorated significantly, especially the scenes with camera movement (zoomed and panned) have a "liquid" effect like ripples of water; I don't know if the term is correct. I wonder what it can depend on? Thank you

I have Premiere Elements (v 18.0).When I add 4K video files to the timeline, I see Inexplicable flickering green frames on the timeline (see attached screenshot) and during playback.Those flickering green frames are also saved in an exported MP4 file (NOTE: I tried to attach the MP4 file, but the Adobe Support Community system rejected it).What is the problem?How to get rid of those green flickering frames? 

I just got Elements 15. i'm not to smart with tech so i'll try to explain it my best (sorry if its not worded right or something). I got it all downloaded and was excited to use it. I did a test and made a super quick edit. Everything was working fine except that when I click the play button, nothing would play, no video or audio. Its like the play button does nothing. I can scrub through it fine and I found that If I export it, I can watch it like normal. Even video and audio that comes with the software (bars and tone, black video, sound effects, etc) wont play. I have tried rendering it in the timeline, nothing. I've tried other media files, and reset to default and tried again, same thing. If I click the fullscreen button to view it, its a yellow screen saying "Media pending" but it never "pends". The media files are supported, and the computer supports the software. The computer is a PC my dads friend built for me (Windows 8.1 pro, 8gb RAM, 64bit). I'm not too good/knowledgable ab

Is there an issue with the built in youtube uploader in Premiere Elements 2020?  When I click upload to youtube, I just get a grey screen where my login information should be.  Workaround is to export and upload manually to youtube, but I'm not certain what settings the program uses for "youtube export" to get it in a smaller file size? Thanks

 Hi created a video project in Premier elements 12 but can’t find it in Premier elements 20. I can see the file information in windows explorer as I have posted below but don’t know how to move this information to Premier elements 20.I want to make another copy of this project on DVD. ThanksJudy  

I have been using Premiere 12 for years.After reinstalling Win 7 Premiere wants a key to rander. The program could be installed,Serial number everything in order.According to the license agreement, this license is unlimited. How do I get back to a working Premiere.Premiere 21 is not an option because I use drivers for a large printer only installable to Win 7.What can I do?The service says that the server for a login is switched off.Thanks for help

My Premiere Elements 2020 dosnt import from my Sony HDR-HC7 /it works on other software) 

About a month ago I made a video in mp4. I recently noticed an error and want to correct it before I burn it to DVD, so went to edit the original prel timeline and make a new mp4.But an M4a music clip I was used for the video now doesn't work. Re-importing it gives a 'generic error'.I have found that NONE of my M4a's will now import.This waas never a problem before. I don't want to have to convert all my M4a's [hundreds] to mp3!What has changed?I hate updates.

I cannot open Adobe Premiere Elements, I have an incompatible display driver message1) I have the lastest software from Adobe2) The latest drivers from Nvidia (461.40 Game ready)3) I had the same error with Photoshop Elements 2021, I reinstalled the display driver and it worked, but Premiere is still dead.4) Reinstalled Premieres Elements after I reinstalled the display driver, same error.I need help, I need the software and it starting to piss me off.

I am experiencing crashes in the program (2021.1) that were not in evidence under the previous version.On most of my attempts to add text to Titles, there are long pauses where I cannot continue. Eventually a crash occurs and I have to Force Quit the application. I noticed that the Premiere Projects folder had a large number (c.50) of rendered files that I had not chosen to create myself. It seems the perhaps the long pauses I mentioned above were due to the app automatically writing these rendered files. While that was happening, all menu items were greyed out. After a while, they became operative again. As a solution, should I uninstall the application, then download it again and reauthorise it with ny serial number?  (Note that my original download of the program was a Trial version. I later changed that to a paid version. This may not be relevant, but I'm mentioning it just in case it is a factor.)

I have an OBS video exported as an .mp4 using hardware GPU NVENCNow i import this in Premiere and i export as H.264 which works (big size)I installed HEVC video extension from microsoft store and i hoped to see when i try to export the vide in Adobe Premiere option H.265, but i cant see it I deleted the cache Am i missing something ?

I'm having issues with Premiere Elements 2020.  I still have Premiere Elements 15 on my computer and on some of my compilations, when I try to save them to an iso file in Elements 2020, it says the file is too big but my Elements 15 doesn't have any problems making it into an iso file.  I'll save the whole project in Elements 15 and then open it in 2020, won't change anything, and 2020 says the file is too big.  Has anyone else encountered this?
