Premiere Elements

My assets are named with the format "Video-1", "Video-2", etc. When I view them, they show up Video-1, followed by Video 10 thru 19, then Video 2, followed by Video 20-29. Any ideas how to fix that? 

PROBLEM:  We cannot access the properties for a frame in the Pan and Zoom window in order to change the Pan Duration or Hold Time for frames in a video clip.  How do we access these properties for a frame? BACKGROUND:  We are working with a video clip, not a photograph, and are able to create the frames we need, at the locations we need, using the Pan and Zoom tool.  The manual infers that we can change the Pan Duration or Hold Time for any frame by clicking on the respective elements in the frame.  Unfortunately, we cannot seem to bring up the frame properties dialog by either left or right clicking with the mouse.  Nor can we find any other way to access these settings for the frame by clicking on the Timeline markers.  Another anomaly is that the manual indicates we can re-arrange frame markers on the Pan and Zoom timeline by dragging the marker.  When we clic

Hi,I'd like to cut a Video wich is 480x848 - so it's upright, but I don't see any option to do that. Always when I import the Video, it's converted to 640x480 with black borders. I can export in 480x848 - but it keeps the black borders. I need a way to create a new preset, or change one of the existing. pls help thx

Hello, I have a problem of 2021.2 update, an error 131 on windows 10.With Première Element and Photoshop Element. How can i resolve this error ? I tried to disable several CCLibraries, CCXproblem ... ect, type processes but it still doesn't work.  Thank's in advance.

Can you create multiple picture-in-picture videos within Elements?  Is there any limit?  

I am using Premiere Elements version 19.0 (20210127.daily.2235820) on a PC running Windows 10 Pro 20H2. I spent a considerable amount of time editing a video, masking out various faces using a combination of track matte and the mosaic effect on a video layer containing a shape object. I had no problem during the initial edit, but when I go back in to make changes,several days later, although the effects are present on playback, the mosaic effect no longer shows up in the "Edit FX" panel, all I see is Motion and Opacity. In addition, when I go to create a new text layer with a shape, apply the mosaic effect and track matte, the effect does not actually get applied to the output video, at least in preview. Any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this issue?

Brace yourselves. This is a long one. I suppose I should begin my laying some cards on the table.  I wrote my first mouse-based graphical editing program in 1978 on an obscure machine known as the Three Rivers Perq.  In 1978 this machine was like something that had fallen through a wormhole from another galaxy.  It was also the Cambrian Era of graphics software – the basic grammar of the UI was up for grabs and all sorts of weird things evolved.  As a result people started to look seriously at human-machine interfaces and came up with rules about how they should behave.  To prevent this become my personal rant I looked up some of these rules and found this great article written by a guy called Nick Babich from a company called Adobe.  He opens by saying “The user interface (UI) is a critical part of any software product. When it’s done well, users don’t even notice it. When it’s done poorly, users can’t get past it to efficiently use a product”.He goes on

Hi, I am new to premiere elements and looking at tutorials there seems to be 80 transitions on there premiere elements software ? and I've only 50 odd I'm missing some of them and i wondered how i can get them as there is no update or download file. Has anyone else had this issue and have found a solution to it. I'm missing the stretch section and the special effects parts and few from every section by looks at others. Please help me out as coming from Filmora X i am finding the fix, edit, and add limited.

I'm on Windows 10, and I can't figure out how to grant Premiere Elements access to my YouTube account.

I had to move  my windows 10 operating system to a new harddrive the other day. The harddrive was working fine but a lot of my applications had to be logged into. I noticed this morning my CPU fan racing when I was not using my machine. I opened it up and the machine suddenly stopped racing. I then openned task manager and decided not to touch the machine to see which program was causing the issue. I waited a few minutes and discovered this exe was causing it: ElementsAutoAnalyzer16.exe, this is in the adobe premere elements 2018 application. I realized I had not logged into adobe creative cloud and did so. Once I did the machine stopped this behavior. I can only surmise that this thing was trying to contact adobe but couldn't because it wasn't logged in. In reviewing google I've seen issues with programs simular to this since 2009. Really you need to fix this so that it will not keep trying if it isn't logged in. Adding text to gif and saving it to desired size 1400 x 300 there is a black rectangle box in the back when exported.  How do I export and get rid of this box?  I started with correct size gif 1400 x 300.

I would appreciate some help. I upgraded from premiere elements and photoshop elements 15 to 2020. Following install Premiere Elements works fine until I try to export and share. The application crashes every time and I get the following error message. Adobe Premiere Elements is unable to save data to “users/georgelee/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Elements/18.0/SC/Workflows/“ and must be shut down. Please ensure that you have adequete folder permissions and restart the application. I am running OS Mojave 10.14.6 (18G103).  I would be very grateful for a solution. Kind regards 

Just installed PRE21 as update to PRE14, whcih was running beautifully. Now I have green lines across monitor window, whcih I have no idea hoew to get rid of, despite reading all your echanges which unfortunatly are full of technical terms and action as GPU, forcing new driverds, CPU etc. I am not a technical person. Running Lenovo Yoga X1 latest laptop with Intel Core i& vPro 8th Gen (that is as far as I can use the jargon, because it's on a sticker). Is there a a non-hi-tech solution in simpple English to the problem please? Can somebody send me an email with clear advise? Many thanks, Val    

Greetings,I'M trying to edit mp4 video from my Samsung S8+ in PE14 but PE won't let me import it.  I can't find the instructions I was given here a few years ago when I first bought the phone.  I had the latest version of Handbrake v 1.3.3 and whatever settings I was using did not work.   Found instructions elsewhere that said to download the older version of  Handbrake v0.9.3 and convert the video to avi; did that and PE14 accepted the avi, but it did not have any sound.   My laptop OS is Windows 10.  The PE14 project settings are DSLR1080p30@29.97.What settings do I use in Handbrake, and which version of  Handbrake do I use to get my mp4 video into PE14 -- with video and sound -- so I can edit it?  I  pasted below a copy of the video and audio properties for the video.Thanks,Antoinette  

I have an issue with trying to create a new project in Premier Elements 12. I can add the video clips without a problem but when i try to view what i added all i get is audio. I know the video portion exists because i can view it in the Organizer portion of the program. I can also view the videos from other programs on my computer. These videos are .avi files from my Garmin dash cam. I have used them many times to create a movie or an event that was captured during my travels but for some reason I cannot view anything I bring into the program now. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

My lifetime valid serial nr. for Premiere Elements is not working anymore...i moved from a windows pc to a Mac and downloaded the previous 2020 as that was the version I boight the license for. What to do next? 

My project is to capture VHS (through a Hauppauage USB device) using VirtualDub, load into an older version of Premier Element, edit, burn to DVD. For VirtualDub, I downloaded and installed lossless video codecs Huffyuv, Lagarith and UTVideo, as well as lossy H.264. My INTENDED workflow was to capture with the AVI container (what VirtualDub does) using lossless compression such as Huffyuv and PCM uncompressed audio. My captures, as they appear in VirtualDub or VLC media player, are ok.When I load the resultant AVI in Premier Elements, there is no video track and no audio track. If I recapture using Huffyuv and a compressed audio codec such as AAC, the resultant AVI will load the audio into Premier Elements, but no video. What Conclusions? Is it so that Premier Elements does not recognize Huffyuv as a video codec? Would the same be true of Lagarith and UTVideo? And does Premier Elements not recognize uncompressed (PCM) audio? If intending to edit in Premier Elem

I've searched the forum but can't find this specific solution.  I want to take short clip and rotate it over the length of the clip so that at time 0 the clip is 0 degrees and at finish time, the clip has gone though a 90 deg rotation to the left.  Does anyone know how this can be done?  What I have is a phone video that started out portrait and then partway through turned landscape.  I want to actually rotate the video to make it turn on screen so that it ends up in portrait.  I have no problem doing a rotate of the part that's horizontal after the phone rotate so it appears normal, it's the transition I want to "undo".  Not sure if that makes sense to anyone.  Kind of hard to explain.

I have somehow become enrolled in a Trial program for Premiere Elements 2021, which I do not want.  How do I cancel this?  Adobe is per usual annoyingly opaque on this.  Thank you. 

I am building a slideshow and would like to add two effects. The first is I am using a scceen roll-up of text describing slides. When the roll reaches a certain point on the screen I would like to freeze it there until the end of the clip. Is that possible ?The second effect is to have a title on a slide flash to bring attention to that part of the slide.If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.    

Hi allI get that Adobe company doesnt give a damn about any kind of GPU acceleration on this productI have a high end RTX 2080 GPU and nothing is accelerated .... fine ... Adobe doesnt care but ...opening Candid moments on 1 hour 1080p video uses 29 GB of ram and 100% cpu (16 cores cpu) for 10 minutes of a time. This is unacceptable . I talked with support person and they told me to make a new user account . This is not the solution , why should i make another Windows 10 account ?Adobe please fix your crappy software
