Premiere Elements

 When I take a new project, the voice and music goes to the bottom. Is there any way I can get them on the top right when I start a new project?

Are the Guided Edits in Premiere Elements 2025 video only? I am unable to hear any audio quidance. The audio symbol is grayed-out. Would be nice to have.

I have just updated to PE 2025.  I have created a video with added PE Music Scores.  When I open my video to edit it, the added Music Scores are hashed out and don't play. If I attempt to reload them from the Music Score library, I get an error:  "The score cannot be added as some audio files seem to be missing".  If I try to re-download the score there is no way of doing it - PE seems to assume that it is already loaded.  I have uninstalled and then re-installed PE but nothing changed.  Can anyone help with this?

I gave up using Premiere Elements Video Editor because the constant rendering drove me mad on Mac and Windows! In the meanwhile I used Filmora 13 to edit my videos but they are a nightmare and even if I had a Lifetime License they started to make everything paid, which was awfully unfair. I now have a very powerful Windows 11 laptop and decided to install Elements 2018 again and the rendering problem is gone. My question is, I can go on using this one, but would also like to hear from those who have used 2024 and 2025 whether it is worth it to go for one of those instead. Are there are lot more Effects, Transitions and Titles and are there maybe other plus points that make it worthwile for me to buy one of them? I make music videos using my own recordings, so I don't need any sound effects but need auto-sync, film with green screen, regularly use keyframes and basically love making very artistic videos. Recently I was on a vacation and followingup to make a video on my computer.  I have a later model Apple phone.  However, this time around, the .mov files being downloaded into Adobe Premiere (ver 2021) will not be accepted.... statement says that they are not compatible.  I could do it before but no longer.  I reinstalled the software, but that did not fix the problem.  Someone said to change all the .mov to .mp4 (Youtube) and it worked for him.  I do not want to do that as I do not know what the ultimate damage, if any, will be.   Can anyone help me fix this problem.  I am anxious to get a new video out and my time available to do that is very precious lately. I realize there is a way for Premiere PRO to generate audio waveforms, so they can be seen on a track. I'm wondering if it can also be done in Premiere Elements. It would be a lot easier to sync some of my audio files with audio/visual files if I were able to match transients.Thanks.LNovik

In Premiere Elements 2025 (Advanced) how do I delete just the audio track (or just the video track) of a clip?  In 2024 and earlier it was easy...select the clip, right click, and select Delete Audio or Delete Video.  Thanks.

In older version of APE, we could strech a music track and PE could automatically extend the audio track. In the new version, we can do that if we use music from Adobe library. But we cannot do the the same when we use our own track. Can anyone suggest me how we can do this when we use our own music tracks?

Hi!Due to the actual push from MS  I upgraded (upgrade of existing OS, not a build from scratch!) my well performing Win10 NB to Win11. Everthing went well and smooth but there is one huge problem: Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 causes Win11 to crash (blue screen) during the application start. It happens soon after the application starting procedure comes to "LoadingImporterQuickTime.pm".I have no idea, how to troubleshoot the problem. I duly deinstalled and reinstalled Premiere Elements but the problem persisted unchanged.Photoshop Elements 2021, as well as all other aplications that lived on Win10 now continue to perform well after the upgrade process to Win11. I also do not notice any other impact or detoriation of functionalities after the transition to Win11. Please advice/help!Kind regards,

With Adobe PRE 2025 we can use music tracks provided by Adobe. But what are the license terms and what would we do when we get copyright strike? 

Dear Mrs. Mr. I have start problems with my Adobe Premiere Elements 2022. First it took a long time start. Then the start kept on hanging 'Laden ImporterQuickTime.prm'. Then I tried install a new and this gave the following signal: Can't find C:Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Elements Home\FloodgateManager.dll. What can I do? I recently read somewhere that a videoclip which is made with a camera in 4K mode with zoomlens to e.g. 600mm  should be zoomed further to 1200mm by postprocessing this clip in a video editor without almost no loss of quality. Basically, it comes down to cropping the original dimensions of the clip with a factor 2.I have never read this type of postprocessing earlier. But if it exists, then my question is it possible with PRE 2024 and yes, how to realize that?

I got the trial version (Premiere Elements 2025), tried making some videos from still images and liked the functionality. I noticed the "This video was created on Premiere Elements free trial" banner and figured it would go away with purchase. I bought the full version and got into my files and the watermark was still there. I tried to delete the image and reload itI tried reloaded the image in a new file I deleted the rendered files for all projects and tried re-rendering the work areaI have gone to the preferences and clicked the button to clear the Media CacheI also went to the directory folder on my computer and deleted the folder 'Adobe Premiere Elements Video Previews'I tried using a fresh file with a completely different image I had never used before and the watermark appears on that and any other content I import into the timeline Watermark persists for any new vieo or project I start. I'm a YouTube guitar guy. I recently got made the upgrade to 4k cameras. Canon 90Ds.    I've used Premiere Elements for years on my M1 mac with minimal porblems. I figure, why pay for another subscription service if I can avoid it?   When rendering my first 4k vid to Youtube, the audio is very much out of sync. Hello.  I have been working on a project in Premiere Elements 2021.  Suddenly, I am now not able to open the video editor and I am getting a pop up saying I need to sign in.  I select "Activate Product" and enter the serial number and push enter.  But then the same sign in prompt comes up again and it's just a continuous loop from there.  I had this same problem last year and I was told to delete some folders.  I tried the same thing, but I still have the same problem.  What should I do so that the serial number stays and I'm able to open the video editor?

working on a long video, clips toward end won't advance when viewed in timeline ... why and how do I fix it? is there a length limit?

I just tried to bring in a movie from my iPhone Pro 16 into Premiere Elements and I got "generic error" when trying to add the media.  However, if I rename the file to have a .mp4 extension rather than a .mov extension, PE loads the movie and it plays just fine.  Clearly the right codecs are installed.  Is there something else that could be causing this error? On iPhone, recorded as 1080p30 with most compatible setting. Output from MediaInfo shown below: Format : MPEG-4 Format profile : QuickTime Codec ID : qt 0000.00 (qt ) File size : 58.1 MiB Duration : 30 s 567 ms Overall bit rate : 15.9 Mb/s Frame rate : 30.000 FPS Encoded date : 2025-02-21 01:41:32 UTC Tagged date : 2025-02-21 01:42:03 U

 Dear Community members,As you can see I have assigned W for clear and E for Delete & Close Gap, then saved the changes as 32122024. After I close PRE and open again, it do not remember them. It remembers all other customisations but not these 2. Does anyone have any clue why this may happen and what I can do to fix this? 

Using Premiere elements 2024 I try to recover projects created with previous versions of Premiere elements (14, 15). However, these projects contain menu marks, not available anymore in the current version of Premiere elements. How can I recover these projects?
