Premiere Elements

I have a music video which is 4 minutes and 2 seconds long. I've been trying to export it to YouTube but it never works. Either it acts like it is going to work and trudges along but never gets more than 10 minutes into the export. Or, when I go to YouTube first, I'm told that my video isn't the right format? And there is no way that I can find to save my video as anything else than Premiere Elements?Do you have any recommendations?

I wanted to get back into video creation and I've noticed that the Premiere Elements 11 application no longer opens. When I'm in the menu, I select the video editor and it starts loading but nothing opens.When I launch an old project directly, I get the screen with all the credits, etc. then everything closes. I can't open the application.The organiser, on the other hand, works fine.My PC is running Windows 11I've searched, uninstalled, reinstalled... and nothing changes.Has anyone had this problem before? Starting to use PE 2022 again after a few years of not having the time and tried the F1 PE User Guide. When trimming unwanted parts of a video clip from the middle, you split and then drag and end up with a gap which you must close or delete. According to the help guide which does not tell you what version it applies to, "You can trim a clip in the Preview window, the Monitor panel, the Quick view timeline, or the Expert view timeline". The only place I see the In/Out points as show in the attached screen grab from the help is in the preview window you get from double clicking the video timeline or from the project assets. in Quick view you can't seem to trim anything and in Expert mode in does not show the In/Out points like the help shows. I don't see the 'Set In' and 'Set Out' anywhere like the help image shows. Does the guide not apply to PE 2022 or am I missing something?

If like me you don't have the money to pay for something like Adobe Premiere Pro, and so use Premiere Elements, you may have been frustrated that it doesn't seem to support creating 1440p or 2160p projects. Well, in this video I show you how to create custom project/sequence presets in Premiere Elements so that you CAN create and edit 1440p and 2160p projects. I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2024........When I edit some media in a time line I always save as I go along. This  creates a PRE edit file. When I log back on and click on this it then opens up Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 and places the relevant clips to continue editing......BUT my question is can I load into the same time  line another PRE edit file with other details of clips?If so how?

Hi!I'm making a video, and I would like to reuse the title and transitions from another video in this video. How can I move/copy the title and transitions into my new video? And yes, I've already tried copy/paste 🙂 Thank you!

Using Premeire Elements 15.  For no good reason and without changing any settings, suddenly when I import video it plays back in slow motion and has no audio.  PE15 projects settings match the imported video settings (1080, 30fps, Mp4).  The raw video plays back at the correct speed with no lagging and with audio on the Windows 10 computer so it's not a hardware issue.  We're not using a new camera and no settings have been changed on the camera.  Same old source but now things don't work.  Even an intro clip that was rendered years ago and has been importing and working perfectly suddenly imports in slow motion with no audio.  PE15 is up to date.  Any ideas on why this might have suddenly occured?

I recently bought an ASUS Vivobook and am attempting to install my 2023 version of Premire Elements. I keep getting 183 error. I've already tried installing the msvcr120.dll that was supposedly missing. The farthest my install will go is 85% and then the error stops the installation. I have Windows 11. Does anyone know of a solution?

I just upgraded from 2020 to 2025 and now every time I go to export a video that already exists, it automatically renames it by appending "_1" to the end of the file name. I need to maintain the same name as the original because I am updating elements that are used in other projects. Please provide an option to disable this feature. It already asks if I want to overwrite a file, which is fine. I just don't want to have to change the file name every time I export. 

Hi, I have a very simple MP4 that I wanted to try "Smart Tone" on.  when I click on it, a popup says "Starting Auto Analyzer", but nothing happens after that.  I checked Task Manager, and it doesn't seem to see any new process or additional load on the processor.... I've never used it before, so I don't know if it has always been this way... Any ideas?

Hello. I just bought Premiere Elements 2025 and can't execute a simple Picture in Picture operation like I used to do in version 16, which was a simple drag and drop, selecting Picture in Picture and resizing and positioning the video on the same screen as the main video. Any help?

When in elements, if I use Instant Fix and select SAVE;  elements creates a new edited version of the original with (edited) in the file name.  Now I have 2 files in the folder and have to manually delete the original and then remove the words (edited) from the new file.    Is there a way to have it just save to the original file?

PE2023 does not appear capable of letting me import httpps:xxxxxxxx Utube video.  Is there a workaround?Thank you,Richard

Hi,I am trying to add multiple simple subtitle style texts to a video. The first problem is, it seems to place the text on different layers with little rhyme nor reason (Is there a way to stop that?). The first idea was to manually create the first subtitle and then copy/paste that for styling and position but that changes all the other subtitles to the newly edited text (WHY?).Is there a way to create/copy a template so I don't have to attempt to position the text and reset all the setting every single time I want a simple text? Any help greatly appreciated. 

Hi, I have Adobe Premiere Elements 2024 for Mac.  For the life of me, I can't find the Track Select Forward tool.  As well, pressing "A" seems to bring up an "Audio" view of the tracks.  Can someone please tell me newbie step-by-step how to access this tool (on the mac)?Thanks in advance!Will

 

I have Adobe Photoshop and Premiere and Elements 9 and Elements 4.0 and Album 2.0 CD's with serial numbers.  Are these still good or are they too old?

Ich arbeite an meinem ersten größeren Projekt mit Premiere Elements  2024 ("Erweitert"). Ich hatte schon viele Abstürze und die Fenster springen auf meinen 2 Bildschirmen bei vielen Aktionen in andere Positionen. Gestern war das Fenster mit den Kacheln "Projektelemente" plötzlich frei fliegend, funktionierte aber. Heute ist das Fenster weg und ich kann  die Projektelemente nicht öffnen. Es passiert einfach nichts, wenn ich drauf klicke. Nur der Unterstrich toggelt zwischen schwarz und blau. Es hilft auch nicht, weitere Medien hinzuzufügen oder ein ganz neues Projekt zu starten. Ich arbeite mit einem neuen Laptop AMD Ryzen AI9 und AMD RADEON Grafik.

Hello, I have a real problem with the playback in premiere elements 2021 When I playback the video stop,revere and forwards in small stems, quite fast. and the sound is also affected. ik heb Adobe photoshop elements 2019. Bij overgang op een nieuwe computer krijg ik na het installeren bij opstarten van foto editor steeds de melding "Het monitor profiel "G2460"is waarschijnlijk corrupt. Start de software voor kalibreren van uw monitor opnieuw."Met daaronder de keuze Profiel negeren of Toch gebruiken.Bij een van deze 2 keuzes start  de foto dewerking op en kan ik alles doen. Echter niet als ik de Video editor tracht op te starten.Dan opnieuw de melding "de editor-werkruimte van adobe premiere elements laden ...." en na ongeveer 1 minuut stopt dit en wordt de video bewerking NIET geopend.Ofwel ik kan geen video's meer bewerken. Is hier een oplossing voor zijnde het niet opnieuw kopen van een nieuwe licentie ? Alvast bedankt, Caroline

I have been editing several short films during last cople of weeks without any problems with the rendering but no on my latest longer film the rendering suddenly stopped working. The small window pops up, you can se that its saying its rendering 78 frames or so but then the window disapear very swiftly and the color of the rendering line hasnt changed to green. I have cleaned cache, I have deleted 99% of the clips just to see if the film was too big but nothing helps. Anyone who can help me to solve the problem?

Somehow I have locked myself out of the ability to click and drag into the timeline. For media/video clips the Program the monitor screen lights-up, but does not allow me to drop to the right on the timeline and transitions does not work at all. Get a Circle with a line through, it is very small. Started after working and had a power outage.

Help! Recently purchased Premiere elements 2022 for Mac. Installed correctly and everything works fine until I try to export video. This message is shown every time I try to export. What is the problem?
