Premiere Elements

catalogue size help.  I did a full backup, then recoverd the catalogue into a 2 terabyte drive, but the catalogue says its 1.45 TERABYTES!  why is it so large on the hard drive if it is not supposed to be storing images? if i search the size its only a few hundred gigabytes, but the 2T drive  is almost full, only 373 gigs left.   There is nothing else in the drive.  when I search teh folder, there is a folder that includes all the images, at 1.31 Terabytes, and a folder called photos, that has considerable less.  Can I safely delete the first folder that is huge??  those images are stored in a separate hard drive. 

I earlier saved about 7 videos as MP4s on to a hard drive from Adobe Elements 2018. I then went back and put all of those MP4 videos back into one video, and tried to save them all as just one video, which is about 33 minutes long. I tried about 4 different times, and each time, there would be "Export Error" at the very end of the export procedure. I tried saving it as a smaller resolution, but still same thing. Not sure why it goes for an hour, to the very end, and THEN gives "Export Error". Is it too long, too big? Not sure. Any ideas?Thanks much! 

Please help. I am creating a video where I am playing each part of a 9 part piece. I want to put them together which means lining up each entrance carefully. I know I can't have 9 separate audio/video tracks. That's fine. I'm going to combine them into small groups once they are synced. I am having a great deal of trouble getting the tracks to line up exactly. I can get them very close, but that's not good enough. It seems as though the tracks just want to start at a certain place and I'm not able to control that. They have to be exact. I am a novice user of Premiere Rush and I'm hoping this isn't too difficult to address. Thank you.

Hello,after several attempts to run Premiere Elements 2019 on my MacBook Pro (Mac OS Catalina 10.15.4) and clicking on the Video Editor tab, I keep getting a message that "Adobe Application Manager, required to start your trial, is missing or damaged"It then directs me to (see attached screen shot) which appears to be an endless loop of links; where is this "application manager" hidden? I have unisntalled/re-installed the app several times hoping that the application manager would be included with the new install but no such luck.I don't have a trial version; I have paid for this app and have a serial number.Thanks in advance for any help! 

I am editing a 4 minute program using MP4 video.  The first 30 seconds or so of the video and I get the green render line.  When I rendered, I would get the popup box saying something like "Rendering video 1 of 1". Moving more clips to the timeline and clicking the Render button only restarts the video.  There is no orange line above the unrendered video, and that video is choppy.  I did export what I have to the desktop, and ALL of the video looks good when exported, it's just a problem in the timeline while editing.  One issue could be the video in the first 30 seconds comes from shorter clips squeezed down from a 5 minute video section.   The latter video I am adding to the timeline comes from a 28 minute segment that I squeeze down to shorter clips.Any solutions to fix this?  

When using the horizontal type tool to create a text box in a new layer, the cursor will randomly appear in the upper left handle, not in the text box.  Pasting in text results in a miniscule, unreadable font size.  The tet is set for font size 18.  Closing the program and reopening it does not help.  What causes this, and more importantly, how to I fix it?  Michaele

Greetings, After installation, AP Elements 2020, the EULA window keeps poping up when I launched the app, even if I accept the EULA.  I scrooled down and it didn't help. It keeps poping up endlessly every 10 seconds.  I rebooted the computer (Under Windows 10 latest update) no luck. What did I miss? TIA

Hi, everyone:I'm a spanish motovlogger in project. The things is, that after working a lot, I exported my videos, firstly, to my PC, but, at the time after uploading to YouTube the videos, didn't have the same proportions as the width and lenths of YouTube's video window needed, there was black space to fill, something which dissapointed me, after working a lot. I fixed the problem with other software, the best way I could.Please, guide me for future works, and teach me how I should set up my new proyects. Thank a lot in advance. Kind regards.

Good morning,I've purchased Adobe Element 11 over 7 years ago. It came with a disk. My desktop is dead and I purchased a new laptop that does not have a disk opening. Can I still download it by using the model and serial information still found on the box?  Yes, I know is an old program, but it works for me, and I don't need anything else. I don't want to purchase another one if I can still use the one I have.Thank you all in advance for your reply.  

I make a video with several short video clips and when I go to add the transitions i can only add a few transitons and it causes the program to freeze and I have to do a control alt delete and close the app in task manager loosing everything up to the last save point.

Hi, this week I started using Premiere Elements. Later I recognized that there was a new txt file on my desktop, called: logs.txt. It was created while using Premiere.First, the content of the file was: "Total: 0"Next days the content changed into: (see attachment).During this I only used OBS Studio, Premiere and Windows onboard programs but the file was created while using Premiere.Does this log file come from Adobe Premiere Elements?Sorry, my English is not the best, I'm from Germany, and thank you for your answers!

I have been using this software for a while now (1-2 years) and it has never failed me...until now. i'm unable to upload a project/video to youtube (like i've done many many times).i just get a white/blank screen when i click "Begin Share" steps:1) Click Export & Share2) Select Online3) Select YouTube4) choose my settings5) click "Begin Share"6) screen turns grey, wheel spins for a couple of seconds then screen is just white.*when i say "screen is just white" i mean the field where i would normally enter video title and description.  It's just a blank/white box...

As stated in the title Prem Elements 2020 Help tab not functional "no response"; online help, getting started etc..... clicking on any of these items nothing happens. On top of that Prem 2020 does not recognize my video camera to capture; "no supported device detected". I have this software one day and am ready to send it back. I'm trying to overlay a photo on top of a video clip, which I've done successfully. However, it makes the part of the video that it occupies fuzzier than when it wasn't there. My playback is at full.The video resolution is 1920 x 1080The photo resolution is 366 x 991 I have noticed that it only gets fuzzy after I've rendered the footage.

Hi, I recently had several old (1938-42) 8mm home reels scanned professionally. The video seems to be stretched horizontally. How can I re-proportion the video frame to correspond to the original proportions, which I gather were 1.4:1 for that film? Using iMac and Mojave. Thanks!!!

I have not used my camcorder for three or four years, but have now finished making a film of a holiday and done everything as on previous occasions and was planning to burn it to a DVD as before. My version is Adobe Premiere Elements 7. Unfortunately when I click "Share" and then click "Disc" the little blue circle rotates for several seconds and then the Adobe programme crashes completely. I have tried several times, but the end is always the same. Any ideas helpful, please!

This is a new purchase/install as of 4/2/2020. I open an .mp4 file and it plays fine in the editor. I trim off the front and back then save to an mp4 file. New file's audio is out of sync when played back. As a test I opened the newly exported file back into premiere to see if the audio was correct. It was not. The audio becomes out of sync when I export. (HD 720) Also tried Higher quality setting. No change.I need help with this fast.Thank you

I am looking for assistance in how I can edit a full basketball game and then use the highlights from multiple games in a new project for a highlight video.   I have used the "Smart Trim" functionality and renamed my clips within the expert timeline, but I have not found a way to use these clips in a new project.   Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone, I am a new user, just recently purchased Premeire Elements 2020 for use to edit videos for my church during the current quarantine. I have many years of experience using various professional video editing software solutions, and decided to go with Adobe Premiere Elements for the simplicity and quick ability to edit prerecorded footage together for use in YouTube streaming. Thus far I'm finding the program quite intuitive and easy to learn -- however, I am continually running into instances where the program is locking up during the editing process. Now, I know my computer is capable of heavy video editing (WIndows 10, Intel 8 core i7-9700, 2 1 TB SSDs, 32 GB RAM, MSI GeForce GTX 1660Ti graphis card), and I'm only editing one or two video clips and audio tracks per session at 720p 60fps, and this program doesn't seem to be capable of handling it. It bogs down, chops and locks up after just a few minutes of adding transitions and FX to JPG slides within the timeli

I want to use Thirdparty' s effect on Premiere Elements 2018. Premire Elements 2018 can import Thirdparty' s effect?
