Premiere Elements

I would like to have a video play full screen for a time then while it continues playing have the frame shrink to half screen so I can place some text in the newly vacated part of the screen.  Possible ?I have Premiere Elements 15.

I set up a picture naming system about a year ago that, after experience, is proving non-workable and I need to bulk rename all of my pictures: e.g. date_time_original name.  This is doable, but I also need to bulk rename all of my picture names in Elements 15 catalog to avoid without manually retagging all 17,000 plus of them. I see that you can bulk rename in the edit screen but does this carry over to the catalog as well?  If not, can anyone offer a suggestion.Thanks in advance.

I've used Premiere Elements 12 on Windows 10 64 bit for a year or more. A few weeks ago I went to open it and found I cannot either start a new project or open existing projects. Whichever I select it just hangs and does nothing.If I select the Organiser then that works OK, but if I select the Video Editor then New Project it does nothing other than show me the stripy progress indicator for a minute or so then stops even doing that.It is a valid licensed copy.I've uninstalled and reinstalled, doing registry clean in between. On first startup it asks to validate my license online and I agree. That appears to work, but maybe doesn't work well enough because then it crashes. I've reinstalled twice and it has done this both times. On next startup it doesn't ask me to relicense but it doesn't do much at all, as above.I've updated to 12.1I've disabled antivirus, and have reset windows firewall to default settingsI've renamed "C:\Users\xxxxx\Documents\Adobe\Premier Elements", to reset prefere

Can't up load footage from video camera..when the .get video window opens..its all white and nothing happens when I press the red get video button...have been using this programme for.years and never had a problem until now..recently had my.PC services and reformatted ..could that.have something to do.with it or is.it a Programme faultRegards Brian

I am running Premiere Elements 11 on a networked windows 7 system. The computer is a Dell with and i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and 2x 500 GB hard drives.I recently had issues caused by Windows concerning my video card. After many attempts, I was able to get a new driver downloaded and installed and was able to complete a fairly large (52 min) video project and burn it to DVD last week. Today I opened Premiere, and selected "new project". Once it was opened I selected "add Media" to begin importing footage from my camera. I immediately got a message that the APP had crashed.Went through the same steps several times with the same results. I have element 2018, suddenly I am unable to get audio on the same clips that worked fine this morning. I checked audio hardware. what else could be wrong?

Hello.  I am having trouble editing my 4k Gopro footage.  I have Premiere Elements 15 with the latest updates.  When I try to select 4k for my project settings it does not show up. Here is a screen shot of the settings menu.  There is no option for 4k.  Is 4k not available on this program?  It does give me the option to export in 4k.  I imported the files.  They play back kind of choppy until I render them.  After I render them they play smoothly as expected, but the quality is horrible.  Like 360 resolution!  What gives?  I have a new computer with a 1 TB SSD, I7 CPU 3.6ghtz, 32 GB RAMand a NVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5 graphics card so I don't think it's my computer. 

I am running Premiere Elements 11 on Win 7I suddenly started getting an error message that says my NVIDIA GeForce GT620 driver is out of date... please load updated driver. When I click OK the computer continues to load Premiere.... for ever, and ever, and ever.... If I wait 10 or 15 minutes, sometimes it finally opens load (usually the computer just locks up and I have to do a forced shutdown), but then when I bring up the file I've been working on it only plays the audio. So, I did as it suggested, I went to the NVIDIA website found the latest driver for my card and installed it, rebooted the computer and... Same result, same error message, same freeze up of the machine. So, I reinstalled Premiere and guess what? same exact results.Can anyone help? The only thing I had left to do on this current project was one final check and then burn to DVD. I really needed to get it done by the end of this week.Phil

My video captured an unpleasant high-pitched squeal. I think it is at about 525 Hz. The hum reduction features of Premiere Elements seem to max out at 75Hz. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this squeal?

I have taken a bunch of pictures over a time period of the same object. I now wanna add the to premiere as one clip that runs at 24 fps.How do I do this? They say that I should add from files and tick in "Numbered still" but if I do this it just adds the first picture and not the rest of the pictures from that file.

We followed instructions but the instructions were for another release of PE.  Marked the clip, select the scissors icon but only received an option to use smart trim or reduce clip time.  Clip did not split, only option was to delete one of the halves.

Hi Alli've just bought a Premiere Elements 14 licence from eBay. Unopened - code intact on back of card. My friend filmed some footage for us on his camcorder and gave us the files in XML, VLC and BIM files. None of these will import to be edited on Premiere elements. When I convert the files to MP4 on the VLC program they will upload but they are very distorted and mainly just green screen and a mosaic effect! I've been trying to find answers on here but I don't really understand what a codec is... can anybody please help a tecno dummie? x

i have a small 4k clip. it is just 2 minutes long.....i have an Microsoft Surface Book 2 with an I7 an 16 gb Ram. But Elements 2019 need over 2 houres and 30 Minutes to get it finished....what is that???

Hi,When I try to motion track, I can get the object selected, and when I click 'track motion' the object highlight rectangle turns yellow. The object is not tracked however. I tried attaching an object, but that object was also static.Has anyone had the same problem? Did you find a way to resolve it?Thanks

The original color of the image had green grass, not black, but I don't know how to revert the "background color" back to the original color of the image in my project asset file. I tried to uninstall and reinstall adobe Premiere Elements, but still had the same result.

I am new to Premier Elements so please excuse this questions which I see if often-discussed - I am just getting my head around some of these concepts. I installed Adobe Premier Elements 2018 on my Windows 10 machine. There are videos which I am able to play through WMP, Movies & TV App, and iTunes on my computer and the audio works fine. However, when importing to Premier Elements there is no Audio track.After researching on this forum and Adobe's help content, I installed GSpot and it says they were encoded with AC3 codec, and that AC3 is also installed on my computer. I tried googling AC3 and Premier Elements but didn't turn up anything useful. I'm confused what could be happening and why there is no audio for this set of videos. I've confirmed I "do" hear audio for other videos on my computer that were recorded with different devices. Is there any definitive way to figure this out? Thanks for your help,James

BonsoirJ'utilise Première élément 15.j'ai sur ma timeline des séquences en 1920x1080 et d'autres en 1920x1440. Mon problème c'est qu'avec le format 1920x1440 l'image ne couvre pas la totalité de l’écran de prévisualisation, il y a des bandes noires sur les cotés. J'ai fait un test et exporter mon projet et cette différence de format persiste.comment pourrais je tout unifier?A mon sens j'imagine qu'il soit possible de réduire tout les plans 190x1440 en 1920x1080 n'est ce pas ? mais comment faire?d'avance merciCdt 

I am creating a series of videos that have standard opening and closing titles but with different content in the middle, like a series of short TV programmes. In order to reduce the amount of work involved in creating a series of programmes with many shared elements, so far I have been copying the project folder, saving the new programme under a new name and changing the video content. I dare say this is not the best way to do it but despite a lot of searching I have not found a better workflow. So far this approach has been working fine, but the last video I have been working on will not play the opening or closing music. This is music that is provided by Adobe - the music called "Corner Pocket". The clip is there in the timeline but it will not play. I have tried deleting the clip and creating it again, but still it will not play the music. The music channel is not muted, and the audio mixer shows the music level at 0dB, so I can't understand why it doesn't play. Do you have any sugg

I just purchased Elements Premiere 2018, I Previously used Premiere 2015 I upgraded to better work with 4K video.The problem I'm having is I cannot get the video to play in the timeline, do you know of any way to fix this issue?thanks!
