I am new to Premiere Elements but have used other simplier programs. I have created a very simple movie In PE that has only JPEG photos and a few songs. The output video it not good. Audio is fine. Some of the photos are only partially displayed. Other photos are slowly painted from top to bottom on the screen and not displayed all at once. I have a Dell XPS tower system with a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU card, 16GB of memory, 13th Gen Intel i7-13700 CPU. In Preferences it says that the detected GPU is supported. So what is wrong? I have tried to export this movie on most of the Computer and TV device resolutions and I have the same problem on all of them. I have never had this problem with the simplier movie creation programs and using a laptop. PE is pretty much useless until the problem is fixed. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hello When I load a file into premiere elements the audio does not work. I had the same problem a few years ago and now I have come back to it I have the issue again. The audio works on all other programs, it's just premeire element which is causing trouble. The fix everyone suggests is that I must have a hardware setting that is wrong. So note that I have tried all the available default outputs with preferences/audio hardware and none work. I can render out the file and it plays in all other programs but when I load it back to premere there is no sound playing but I can see the EQ. I can render out just the audio and the audio works in all other programs but not premiere (I did that as a WAV file. Please help Many thanks Adam I want to try and render it out outside of premiere elements but I don't have media encoder so i can't check if that will fix it. Why is premiere doing this? Why won't it play any sound at all?
I'm trying to export a rough cut of a 2 minute video, but after rendering and saving the file, I hit "Export and Share" and nothing happens. I've exported edited mp3s with no problem. The disc has 350 gigs free. Thank you,Jeff
I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 Version 18.0 (20201207.daily.2234367). I am using Windows 10 with current upgrades. My graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce GTx 1050 Ti with updated driver version 560.7 When I try to import some MP4 files into Premiere it says your system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media. All MP4 files display properly in Windows Media Player. on the compter with Adobe Premier I have followed the instructions at https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/hevc-decoding-on-windows.html. In other words: 1) load HEIF image extension; 2) load HEVC video extension; and 3) delete media cache. However, the problem persists. I have also viewed the permissions issue video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTSDm7WWUNs. The persmissions appear properly configured except there are two versions of the extensions (see attached screen shot). Is this a possible source of the peoblem? There ar
I have PE 2022 and PE 15 installed on my computer. When I had Windows 10 I created MP4 file in PE 2022 then loaded MP4 file to PE 15, added a menu and finished the project by creating ISO file and burningBlu-Ray disc. I tried to do the same on my new computer in Windows 11. PE 2022 works fine. I created mp4 file but when I load PE 15 I immidiately have a pop-up: "Failed to open Catalog. The catalog could not be opened. It is either corrupt, or the version is out of date and cannot be updated." Is it possible to fix this problem and make PE 15 work? Thanks. Lev
I have seen this topic in the community and it seems to have to do with Hevc and Heif and H264 and H265. However I can't figure out what to do with Heif and Hevc (I had Hevc app and downloaded Heif) and don't know if my video is h264 or h265. So as far as the free trial, "hey buy our product it is great", is concerned it is a fail so far. just saying....I had Premier elements 2018 on my old computer and it downloaded the iphone video but the last time I tried with the 2018 version it downloaded the audio but not the video. So I thought the update to 2024 version would solve the iphone video download issues but apparently not. When I try to download the video from my computer (I downloaded them from the iphone 13 to the files on my computer) I get the message that I need Hevc or Heif. I imagine there are lots of people trying to edit and make movies from the video on their iphone so is Premier Elements just not a program that can do that without lots of computer skill and knowledge
Premier elements is installed in windows 11 PC. I have installed HEVC video extension app. I have deleted the cache files. But premier elements is still unable to import an HEVC format media file. The Premiere elements 2021 is version 19.0.What do I need to do to be able to import HEVC mdeia files? Steve
I have an Win 10, Home Edition, 64 bit, Asus PC that has been running Adobe Elements 15 and Premiere Elements 15 for several years. Windows10 had been running poorly, so I did a fresh install of all system and app software. Elements installed and works fine. Premiere Elements will properly install but will not launch. I have tried rebooting as well as uninstall and re-install. Same results. Software loads and looks fine, but will not start. There are no error messages, and no prompts, just no Premiere Elements 15. I tried reloading the software for my NVIDIA card. I have rebooted 3 times, I have re-installed Premiere Elements 3 times. I click on the Adobe Premiere Elements 15 shortcut. The “adobe premiere elements” screen displays. I can click on Photo Editor or Organizer and both will launch. I click on Video Editor and a blue wavy bar displays at the bottom of the button. The wave moves back and forth, but the video editor never starts. I tried searching in t
I installed a new HP PC under WIndows 11 Pro (64). 32Gb, 4TB SSD, NVIDIA GEForce RTX3070 Graphics Card, 8-core 2.50Ghz processor.I'm trying to edit a 30 minute, 4K movie and I'm getting nothing but crashes. Both during editing and rendering. Adobe completely freezes the PC, or no longer works, or we have "unknown error" messages. In short, totally unstable. I regret switching to Adobe because I used VEGAS from Sony before and I had no problem
I had to reinstall PE 2022 on my new Dell XPS 8960 desktop. Windows 11 Home. Version 23H2, Processor i713700, RAM 64GB, 64-bit operating system x64-based. Graphic Card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060Ti. Driver version: 31.0.15.5241. Editing in 4K with 30 fps frame rate.PE 2022 is very unstable. For example, when I add additional files and music to the project the application gets frozen and I get a pop-up: Premiere Elements is not responding. If I am lucky I can close the application if not, I eventually get a black screen and have to restart the desktop. I did not have this kind of problems on my old desktop in Windows 10.Questions:1. Is it possible to make PE 2022 really work in Windows 11?2. If I upgrade PE 2022 to PE 2024 will PE 2024 work smoothly in Windows 11?3. Is there a video editing software on the market that works great in Windows 11 and also allows to publish a project on a blu-ray disc and also create ISO file? Thanks. Lev.
I have a Dell computer, Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.19 GHz. Also, 16 GB RAM, an SSD and a bigger 2nd hard drive. Lately, since I'started working on the 2nd half of editing my 11 track, 6 minute video, the computer makes a ton of noise every time I do any editing at all. It sounds like one of my drives. Since I believe I've installed this program on my SSD, I assume it's coming from that. IT sounds like it overtaxing the computer AND I can't seem to do any editing while this noise is going on. Usually for about 30 seconds. I've tried rendering, which does help when I'm compoletely frozen. Any suggestions? Thanks.Larry Novik
I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 Version 18.0 (20201207.daily.2234367). I purchased Adobe Premiere Elements and Phostoshop Elements versions 19.0 and 21.0 that were never installled. My primary concern is to preserve the tags and their functionality that I created in Adobe Organizer on 40K media files. I have 4 questions:1. Are there known issues with the organizer tags on upgrading?2. Are there other issues I should concisder befor upgrading?3. What is the best path to upgrade? Simply buy the latest version and install directly or upgrade in sequence with the versions I have and then install to the latest version?4. I also have an Acrobat Pro plan. Is there a bundle available that includes the Elements apps and the Acrobat? Thank you for any suggestions.
How can I increase the size of the thumbnails in the projectsassets tab of Premiere elements?
If I would like to utilize GPU acceleration function in Premiler Elements 2024, which one is better intel core i5 UHD 770 or AMD Ryzen 5 8600G? I know Nvidia Graphics Card works better but it costs a lot.
Je souhaiterai savoir si la fonction "menu de film" existe encore dans première 2024?
Hello,I have Adobe premiere elements 10. Always had only that version and nothing else.I have a project of like 10 years old that I need. I try to open it. It is loading to 100% and then I get the message that " this project is not compatible with the current version of Premiere Elements". Why? I ever had only 1 version! How to solve this?Is there someone with a new version of Premiere element that might be able to open it and save it as version 10? Some other ideas?I hope someone can help as there's been a lot of time invested in the file... Best Regards,Inge
I have a long video, about 3-1/2 hours. It's a tutorial video, and there are distinct portions that lend themselves well to markers. I don't want to create DVD. I would like to have a menu of sorts at the very beginning, where I can select any one of the distinct portions to watch, and go to that portion which will play and stop at the end of that portion. Markers seems to be the method to use. I only see 2 types of markers in Premiere Elements 2024: Timeline and Beat. I've been reading the online manual, which talks about Menu and Scene markers, but I don't see these. So far, I've set a bunch of Timeline markers, and edited them to put in a description and chapter number. It seems strange to me to be able to edit a Timeline marker and set a chapter number, but not have chapter markers. Anyway, I can't find what to do next to make my menu of chapters at the beginning of the video. It would be nice to be able to select a
Good day, Can I import/transfer camcorder tapes to Adobe software? Will the software capture the video and audio? Thanks
Trying to reinstall Adobe Premiere Elements on a new Windows Computer but it won't take the serial number. I have a printed page from the original purchase with the redemption code and Serial Number. What options do I have to fix besides purchasing new software? I haven't used the product for several years and trying to install on a newer system. Thanks in advance for any help. [Mod: Moved to the Premiere Elements forum]
I have a video which does not have any music. I am trying to add a music track to my video, but I get a message that says "Add Media Failure - The importer reported a generic error." I would appreciate any help in solving this problem.
The text styles tab in the menu is completely blank. The Text, Animation, and Shapes tabs are still functioning. I've tried closing down the program and reopening it but it did not work. Is anyone else having this issue and is there a way to fix it? Thanks.
I am using the program Premiere Elements 2024. I would like to export a video that shows a timecode in the picture. This question is already being discussed in the forum, but unfortunately, all the available information is not useful: the provided video links do not work, or there is information for the program "Premiere Pro." However, I need help with "Premiere Elements 2024."
In Adobe Premiere Elements 2024, I go to Edit-Preferences-General-UI Mode-Dark to try to change the UI from Light to Dark. I receive the message that I need to relaunch the application and I close out the application and the home screen and reopen. The UI keeps showing in Light Mode. I also tried using the 'Sun' icon but it still won't change to Dark Mode. Any ideas as to how to get the preference to stick?
