Premiere Elements

When using premiere elements with any footage, no matter where it came from, there are two black bars that I can never get rid of without cropping footage. Does anybody know how to get rid off these black bars that appear above and below footage, without having to crop anything? Thanks.

I am editing with Adobe Premiere elements 11. When I drag the timeline, it enlarges makes it impossible to do an edit. How do I adjust this?

I am attempting to install Premier Elements 2018 (free whilst I choose whether to buy) and have encountered the issue that my installation is incomplete.  When I click "error summary" I am told that "Your file was not found" (ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND_).I am unable to install and, therefore, unable to decide whether to buy.  Also, without adequate support from Adobe, I am disinclined to buy.Could someone please help me?

I am kinda desperate for help.I installed Premiere Elements 2018 three days ago, and every time I install it it says that some elements were failed to be installed. When I open the programme, it does work for a while, but I can't play the edited video. Moreover, after doing just the slightest of work-it crashes. In the span of those three days I tried removing and reinstalling the programme about three times, but that didn't help.

I upgraded to premier elements 2018 from - the 14 version. The 14 version redered fine and fast. The 2018 version is very slow and takes for ever. HELP!What has changed?

Hi,I have read that for Premiere and Photoshop Elements you need a 2 Ghz processor. I have an Intel core i3 1,7 Ghz processor. Will the program work with that or not?Can anyone help me with this?Thanks,Franka

My videos are done and I'm making a DVD.The motion menu button for the Scenes is stuck at 00;00;04;29 and I would like for it to be around 30 seconds instead of 4.My sound menu button is set at 29;29.  So whenever I set the motion menu button at 29;29 also, it just reverts back to 4;29 or 4;22.My background picture is still.Am I doing something wrong?  Overlooking something?I have Prem. El. 15, Windows 10.

I have a video with several different songs and the timing of when the pictures/videos play with each song is imperative.  When I save in non-HD the quality is very lousy.  However, when I am saving in HD (and I've tried many different forms of HD) it is changing the timing of the video and things are in the right spot anymore.  I cannot find anything to help me fix this.  I need the video for a retirement tomorrow morning!  HELP!!!!

I purchased Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements to make timelapse videos.  I see nothing in the pdf manuals about making a timelapse. Did I buy the wrong software? Lowell McCormick

Hello everyone,I am making a film with different sources of media (video and sound altogether + audio comments apart).I recently moved all my files (they were all in the same sub-file) to a new computer, now that I opened it on my new computer, it asked me to link the missing videos, which i did, and which worked for only some videos.Explanation: my videos used are in three folders: card 1, card 2, card 3, which constitute (excluding the audio in other files) AVCHD videos from the camera that are nammed: 0000, 00001, etc. etc., but the three files have the same numbers, though they are different videos.My question: How to link the remaining missing videos (that appear in adobe to be black out, not missing media) even if they share the same "name" with other videos from three sub-files? Is there an automatic feature for that?I manually re-linked some of the videos, which is a bit long, but it seems that the audio that goes with the normal video do not always follow, which I don't unders

Hello,I have premiere elements 2018 and have loaded a GoPro Hero 3 MP4 video to the timeline but I'm having difficultly getting it to render for playback in the editor. Whenever I press the Render button it just starts playing the video for a bit then stops, presumably as far as the render has gotten, but with no indication of how long the render will take or how much progress it has made or even an acknowledgement that it's rendering anything. I've got the Word Area draggable handles spanning the whole video.I'm sure there used to be a coloured line just under where the timestamps are but that no longer appears. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be the issue, I'm running on a Windows 10 machine.I looked under Project Settings > Video Rendering and the two drop downs for file format & compressor are greyed out. Now sure if that's of any use to know?Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to start editing some videos I've taken this year!

My copy of Photoshop Elements stopped opening a couple days. I tried uninstalling the application and reinstalling, did not work. Anybody have any thoughts?

I shoot underwater 4K video & I zoom & crop in PE 15, But I want to import that video into Lightroom v6.13 to white balance & “color pop”. PE 15 does a poor job of white balance of underwater video but Lightroom does a fantastic job. Doing it the other way around I cannot take advantage of using 4k to crop in, as Lightroom downsizes all exported video to 1080x1920. How do I export cropped video from PE 15 into Lightroom? I want to export from the timeline a finished video clip into an external folder which can then be imported into Lightroom.

Searched google for ” adobe premiere elements 15”+ move sound half a frame, move sound in milliseconds, change timeline to milliseconds, Unable to change Timeline to milliseconds. … etc.I found another with same issue as me.How can I change it so I’m able to move sound less than a frame? I have a problem with the option of appearing and disappearing video on the timeline. The sliders do not react correctly to my settings. In the place where I mark that 50% of video penetration is to be 0% and vice versa. There is a program error. What can I do?

I recently upgraded to a new hard drive. I transferred all my applications over. But Adobe is the only one that gave me a problem. It says I must deinstall and reinstall. I already de-installed. Now I'm trying to reinstall using the original Premiere Elements 14 disc. It says I need a 24 digit SN. there is no such serial # on any of the packaging. Very frustrated. I paid $99 for this suite and now can't use it.

I'm using PE 15. With the text tool, in addition to the small frame at the center where you enter your text, there are two larger rectangular frames, one within the other. What exactly are these for? Thanks.

Hi There,When I start a new project in Premiere Elements 2018 and add a new media (mov) file it is impored as an audio file instead of a video file.The mov file is from an iPhone 7It worked before .... does it have to do with a Windows 10 update maybe?Hope someone can help me with this.Thanks in advance for your help.Kind regards, Paul

Hi,I'm importing slides made in Adobe Spark which include a logo.When I import the file graphics become fuzzy and when I export as an mpeg they lose resolution again.Can anyone help please!Rachel

Hello,I am having the issue that I am either getting the error "something preventing successful DVD burn" or transcoding error. I have tried changing intel graphics setting within adobe, tried changing bitrate and removed fit to disc function. Please provide me with a solution to successfully burn the disc within Adobe - I do not want to create and ISO and then use a separate program to burn the disc.

Every time I open the program, I get to the screen that says Adobe Premiere Elements 2018 on the top, but when i click on video editor, it just closes. Any suggestions?

Just installed 2018 over an old copy of 2013 Premier Elements. In Quick mode there is no audio field shown in the timeline.  In Expert mode two different Audio fields appear, but in neither quick nor expert mode is any sound imported from the clip.  Running Windows 7 Professional, and working with AVCHD files stored to my hard drive (imported from a Canon camcorder).  Is there a workaround for the Dolby issue?  My Canon won't let me turn Dolby off.

I keep getting reminders that I need to perform an update to Adobe Premiere Elements 2018.  Every time I try to perform the update, I get an error message U43M1D207, that the update failed.  Any suggestions?  The same things has happened 4 or 5 times with the same error message.  Thank you[Here is the list of all Adobe forums... https://forums.adobe.com/welcome][Moved...
