I have an old program of Adobe Photoshop 6/Premiere Elements 4 that I have used for years. I just recently finished putting together a picture/video project, and when I went to burn it to DVD, a box came up and said I have to activate the Mpeg 2 component. The website they gave me is no longer active, and nobody seems to have an answer. I contacted customer support, but after a 90 minute wait, they sent me to the forum, and nobody seems to have a program this old or know how to activate it. I don't want to throw out my project- it's our trip to Europe, and I really want this DVD made. Can anybody help me?

This has been a long saga starting in June so here is the short version. I filmed a school jubilee in March and wanted to edit and burn a DVD for the jubilee committee to sell. My initial attempt included all the clips from two days and came to 2 and a half hours so I needed to change to 2 DVD's to keep the quality. I kept the original PREL file, saved it as Day 1 and Day 2, deleted the clips that weren't relevant and burned the 2 DVD's successfully using the PAL widescreen and Fit to the Available Space options. Both DVD's are about 1 hour 15-20 minutes long now.I then went back to the Day 1 DVD to add extra menu markers, add some photos as a short slideshow and tidy up some titles to match what I had done for DVD 2 and have been unable to burn the Day 1 DVD successfully since. It encodes successfully, then starts the burning process and gets to 99% before it sticks there for a while and then the DVD tray opens. I get no error messages. I can burn t
I had to re install PE13 since doing so I cannot open existing files. A message appears cannot open files because of Codecs? Can someone assist me?

I am having the same issue as this previous poster whose question was not answered: film menu - wrong formatted text after opening again The menu looks fine when I make it but when it is reopened, anything that has been on two lines is now on one line, sometimes with other symbols between. It also really messes up the buttons on the scene selection screen. Since I am not the only one with the problem, has anyone come up with a solution?
Best way to learn Premiere Elements 15 when you've only been using iMovie?
Hi,I am having trouble exporting my finished video file. Seems to have a rendering issue. Error message states: R6025 - pure virtual function call. I have 20GB of space on my Microsoft surface so it shouldn't be a space issue but really I have no idea. Help! I cannot finish my work for a client. I am a beginner so please use easy terms with instruction. Thanks!
I have premiere elements and photoshop 13 installed on my HP desktop, I do not use it much but last week i tried to edit some old videos. I started getting pop ups to say my free trial of adobe 15 is coming to an end and i should purchase it to continue . Hello all,I need to create a 1024x768 video, progressive, at 23.976 fps. No preset matches this and, if I drag a video with these specs into a new project, its settings don't auto-change to the video, but to the nearest preset. Is there any trick to get PEL 13 to work at this resolution/progressive/frame rate?If not, I can progressively loosen my criteria if PEL will get me close to what I want. Alternate project settings would be (preferable first):Any 4:3 resolution, progressive, at 23.976 fpsAny 4:3 resolution, interlaced, at 23.976 fps(An even less-desirable option, 480x720 4:3 interlaced 29.97 fps, is available from the DV Standard preset. It would look terrible on my 1024x768 projector.)
So let's say I have ten minutes of footage and I want the whole thing to play in ten seconds. Probably the hard way to do it would be to pick out 300 frames evenly spaced and delete everything else (for 30 fps, but this is just an example). Is there a smarter way to do it?Thank you!R.
My project is a 10 min slide show which has a few videos. I used Windows 10 and Adobe Premiere Elements 15 to create it. Following the directions to "Share" seems to be fine, But when I play the DVD several videos are in slow motion. All slides and a few videos and music are perfect . The project plays perfectly on my computer. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help me, please?
Hi, I am using premiere elements on a PC. In my timeline everything plays just as it should, but when I export the video as an MP4 or burn it to a DVD there are certain parts of the video that have audio missing completely whereas in the timeline it played the audio just fine. All of the raw video files are MOV files and I have also tried exporting the video as an MOV instead of an MP4, but it still does the same thing. I also exported a single clip in a separate project file from the video that audio wouldn't export from and audio exported on the video just fine. I am very confused because this has never happened to me with the numerous projects I've worked on. Can anyone help?
My raw file is 5960x1080 and need to cut off the extra wide portions and make it into 1920x1080. I know you can zoom in but that changes the quality I want to just chop off the edges. how do you do this?

See example below. It also bugs out when I try and change the size of the preview box (example below)Here is a copy of my specs for new PC. Drivers have been updated. I have also downloaded a trial copy of Premier Pro CC 2017 and this works fine. I'm trying to burn a DVD of a friends wedding but cannot get it to work, each time i set it to burn it encodes and begins the burn and then gets stuck at 4%.Here are the detailsThe Project is quite long - 1hr 15mins - i'm using a 8.5GB discIt was created in Elements 13 but i couldn't burn it to disc so upgraded to Elements 15. Same problem.I'm using an external samsung DVD burner as the internal one is broken. I've burnt many projects on it - including recent trials of smaller projects.I've tried burning it as an ISO but have the same problem.
