Premiere Elements

No problem when editing 30 FPS projects, but on FPS projects, video studders badly.  I have a gaming PC laptop with Nvideo Gforce GTX1650 graphics card, I7, solid state drives, etc....  All drivers up to date.  I have changed default audio input to none in Elements.   I've cleared the cache.  I've Googled this a lot and cannot find a cure.  I'm using Premiere Elements 2021.    Any help would GREATLY be appreciated.Specs of computer:  Device name Mark-AsusLaptopProcessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.59 GHzInstalled RAM 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable)Device ID 75E7D9D7-A8B9-4AB1-AD83-BA68D6AA1ADAProduct ID 00325-81929-35417-AAOEMSystem type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processorPen and touch No pen or touch input is available for this display

Hi Adobe Premier Elements Community,I have used a desktop ACER in the past to edit videos using Adobe Premiere Elements with great success. However due to a crashed HDD I decided to upgrade to a laptop, Acer Swift GO 16. I also upgraded my software to Adobe Premiere Elements 2023.Whilst I can run PE 2023 when I load any media, say a 10 second GoPro video, then press play within the software I can hear the progress of the video playing through the speakers but the display does does not keep up and locks after playing about 3-4 seconds.Any suggestions on whats happening?The investigation I did before purchase of the Laptop suggested to it being very suitable for video editing. 

Hello EverybodyI suspect an uncompatibility of PE9 V 9.0.1 with W11. Of course, it is an old version, that I used tu run on W10 , but the computer is now very slow, and I changed for un newer machine. I have serched if there is a known uncompatibility and I finded nothing. So, I tried the installation on a first machine an Asus. No problem during the installation up to the final reboot which crashed all the computer with neither boot sequence nor windows starting. I had to leave the computer in the shop, as they could not restart it, and i changed the model for an LG 17Z90R. A very similar scenario occured after the installation, except that I could restore W11 but a "small bug" appeared. One of the USB port of the machine was affected: only USB keys were recognized and not other devices as hard disk, CD/DVD reader. I came back to the shop where they tried to veryfy the USB drivers, but got no succes. They will return the computer to the constructor, so, I asked for

I have a big problem with the 2022 version as it removed a bunch of my favorite features from the old versions.  Historically (v2012+/-) I would make my "signature" family/event slide shows starting in the "slide show" creation option.  It would allow me to add media and them import into the slide show creation in a random order and it would provide the ability to view all the pics and allow the ability to see a directory of all the pics and one-off reorder the pics .  Then once I had all the pics in order, on the timeline I could add effects to each pic or group of pics or all pics veary easily.  In 2022 none of these features are available - it has their canned slide show choices.  I really miss those capabilities.    But the biggest loss is the ability to add Pan and Zoom and to tweak specifically where the P&Zoom on the pic goes.  The Pan & Zoom feature in 2022 is super clunky and cannot be tweaked or applied across multiple pic slide

HelloHow can I make a justment in audiotrack (music) on a specific place in the musictrack to increase the music after end of a narration and I want to have a higher level of the music, and later on decrease the music when the naration begins again. I know that a yellow horizentally line can move up and down to change the level, but I want to mark on the wantet place to make a dor from where I can increase og decrease the soundlevel. How is the procedure to make that dot on the yellow line?Knud

I re-installed W10 which deleted my ADOBE PREMIER elements 2020 app. Ive been to the ADOBE website and cannot find a download section. Anybody know how its done?

Error message when trying to import MOV files recorded in H265:  "Your system needs to be configured to import HEVC or HEIF type of media.  Click on 'Learn more' to know how to enable these formats for import." That takes me to this page:Using HEVC and HEIF media on Windows (adobe.com) I followed the instructions and still have issues with the import into Premier Elements v21 (2023) .  I have no issues playing the MOV files in Windows media player.  Need assistance in fixing, thank you. Computer: Windows 11 with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 

Have edited a longer video, as before, but have problems finding how I can export the finished product, when I want it to end on my harddisc (still) as a MP4-file.

Can someone please explain to me how to remove the black bars left and right in my video project? I have already tried it with the scale function and the crop effect. Unfortunately unsuccessful...

HalloIch bin kein Profi, habe aber schon viele Filme mit Adobe 12 und 2020 fertiggestellt. Es hat Alles bestens funktioniert. Jetzt will ich ein neues Video mit 2020 machen und habe plötzlich folgendes Problem. Wie bisher werden Aufnahmen über "Medien hinzufügen" und "Projektelemente" ins Schnittfenster gezogen. Allerdings geht das jetzt nicht wie bisher über die Spuren Video 1 und Audio 1  sondern es werden zusätzlich 5 Audiospuren belegt. Auch wenn ich zuerst die Leerspuren lösche werden immer wieder weitere Audiospuren geöffnet. Auf einem zweiten Computer mit Adobe 12  und identen Clips sind  nachwievor  nur die Spuren Video 1 und Audio 1 belegt. Bitte um Hilfe für die Lösung dieses Problems. DANKE

I cannot export my clipped videos.  Each time I try, the program runs, but at the end when it says SAVING, I get an error message that an error occurred, and the video is not saved.

My audio and video play in sync but the audio track is sudenly 6 min 57 sec out of sync at 7 minutes into the video (the waveform does not match video). It appears the audio track waveform starts over at about the 7 minute mark but it does not represent the actual audio. I copied a section of this visually repeated audio and pasted in the narration track at the beginning of my video where the wave form matches the Audio 1 track and it is completely different audio. I have restarted Premiere and restarted computer. Started a new project and get he same result.

Bonjour,Un de mes élèves qui avait la version licite Adobe Premiere Elements 2019 a acheté la nouvelle version 2024 qu'il a installé sur son pc Windows 10.  Constatant  que ses anciens projets ne pouvaient être correctement lus sur Premiere 2024 il a désinstallé Premiere 2024 via la procédure Windows de déinstall ce qui s'est bien terminé dit-il.Or lorsqu'il veut relancer son Première 2019 (par editeur video)  il a un crash report.Que faire?  Merci à ceux qui peuvent expliquer comment se sortir de cette situation.

Why can I not drag the end to change the duration? See the horizontal red line in the below screen shot? It doesn't allow. I've seen YouTube videos of people dragging the end points, and all of my Google searches on how to change duration say to drag the end point.  

I think there is a bug in APE2024 when using cross dissolve transition: My project is 4K. When I export to 4K cross dissolve is not rendered. I´ve made a video with a text with videomerge.In preview the video content is displayed correctly on text background, but when I export, the text color is solid white. Anyone has experience the same issue? Any hints?I have the 2023 version. Thank you

I converted all my old family videos (SD) to DVDs over the years using Premier Elements.  I now am worried that my DVDs are going to deteriorate and want to convert back to best digital format to store in a dedicated hard drive.  I have PE 2022 and used its import media feature to import my DVD (ie *.vob files, etc).  I then exported as Mp4 H.264  SD 720x480 (as I believe that was the DVD SD original resolution.  But the quality was terrible - I'd estimate it was at best 75% of what you'd see when playing the DVD.  Can anyone suggest how I can do this better? An additional question - does anyone know a way to store my converted dvds online, preferably in a free or not too expensive manner.  My idea was to create a "Family Archive" account on YouTube and share with my family.  Upload my videos as "Private".  But for some reason, when I log into that account as the account owner on my smart LG TV, it does not show my uploaded video conten

Hello, so I tried to edit my gaming video and Premier elements simply either makes my video onlu hearable from the right side with like 8 audio channels open, or changes the settings of the project and removes my microphone audio with it. Any help?

I recorded a 1 hour gig and would like to separate each song as a different video. My attempt included using the scissors icon that splits the video into specified segments. I thought i was going in the right direction. I was able to then drag the audio/video segments up into new  a/v tracks (I believe tracks, not sure)(audio 2/video 2, ect...) but I have no idea if that worked. If someone could write up a step by step instruction to show me from the very beginning to the very end of the process I would highly appreciate it. Very beginning being how to upload onto PC, then transfer into Adobe, then how to splice into seperated songs, then how to store those on a PC, then how to upload those seperately onto Youtube.  Thank you.

When I create a freeze frame and choose the option to put it directly into the video, it automatically goes to the first video layer.  Is there a way to get the freeze frame to go to a specific video layer instead, or maybe not?

I can't change the size of the bar which represents the part of the video clip on the timeline in APE2024 Here you can see Preview window in APE2021 and those 2 elements that I use to chance size of the bar.   They are not visible in Preview window in 2024  You can see it better in this video: https://youtu.be/pz6Q9VlpHZE Besides, is it finally possible to change the default size of Preview window? It is too small and I need to resize it each time I open it.  

Adjustment/Color/Saturation produces very strange effects. It’s hard to described them but they are very well visible in this print screen.It is not even oversaturation. The colors of the image are distorted is some strange way.  Here is original image:  What is interesting that Effects/Image Control/Saturation gives completely different results which are more to be expected.  I don't understant why those two saturation settings give so much different results. 

I'm importing several videos which were shot in 4k (from a drone) into Premier Elements 2020. The original videos look very sharp when I view them on my computer with Windows Media Player, but when imported into PE 2020 the qulaity is very noticeably degraded. I suspect that it's because the project is created as a "HD 1080i" project. My understanding is that the project type should be created based on the first file placed on the timeline, but I see that creating a 4K project AVHCD isn't even feasible. Curiously, I can apparently export a project as a "4k UltraHD" file. Does Premier Elements 2020 truly support HD? If so, do I need to install or configure something so that I can create the project itself as a 4k project?
