Premiere Elements

I used to create instant slideshow  and save them as mp4 files. Then I could load the files into premiere and restore the original frames which I could then edit to correct the errors made my instant slideshow. I can't fine a way to do that in premiere 2023.

Somebody told me that I can restore a backup to any PC from just the backup itself.Meaning, not have installed the Element Software first.That cant be true, can it ?

Recently upgraded my Windows 11 PC.  Trying to reinstall my P/Elements 15.  I get to this point:I've checked I have my correct S/N yet I get this message anyway.   My software is not installed on any other computers.  I have in the past reinstalled the software a couple of times without any problem.  Possibly Adobe uses these as cumulative previous installations thus telling me I have the maximum number of installed uses.  I've replaced my motherboard so maybe that is what is causing a mix up?  I've tried quite a few installations going about it in different ways, all failed.  Tried to install it from my disc as well as directly from the Adobe download site.  Will appreciate any help on getting this Program up and working...Thanks

So I have Elements in two old versions, 12 and 15.Got a new PC with Windows 11.Got adviced that not install eather version because compability.But I did anyway, and after a few tricks with 12 , I have both installed.Now the question is about the procedure of  restoring the backups from the old PCs.I have made backups on both that I saved on an extarnal drive.Is it just as simple as go to Organizer, anf hit "Restore Catalog", then point to the backup om my external drive?  I will get both my images and catalogue imported ?Should I use Orignal  or New path?Can any problems occur because I have two versions of Elements? 

first time posting and hope you may be able to help!I have been using elements 13 to create a video on my windows machine (11 pro).I have been using an external HDD which has the original photo and video files and, as far as I understood, I was saving the premier elements project file to my local drive.While working on the video, the external HDD crashed and I was able to recover all files which have now been saved to a new external HDD.I am now wanting to continue making the video and expected id need to 'point' the project to the new file location. But when I go in to my elements software I cannot find the file I was working on at all. The only place that I can find any reference to the file is in the "open project>preview files" folder where there is an empty folder with the same file name. (but no actual file in the folder). There is no file in the "auto-save" folder which is strange.I would understand if the file was still there but not able to 'find' the original files be

ive just purchased this software spent hours editing a vvideo and every time i try to export it crashes after doing a few percent 

Hello.I have an old version of Premiere Elements (13.0). Could I purchase the License Upgrade to update to 2023, or is this too far a version gap to be valid and would I have to purchase a new full license instead? Thanks

How do I replace someone's face in adobe premiere elements 2022

During multiple versions of PRE I have created my own presets in Effects. Up until PRE 2022 I was able to simply delete any that were no longer of no use or mistakenly created. Now Nothing I do deletes such items

Hello,I'm using a 14' macbook pro m2 with MacOs 13.3. I installed Adobe Premiere Elements 2023 but when i click Video Editor, nothing happens, not even an error. Also tried opening Elements Organizer but an error comes up. I read somewhere about trying to create a new user and trying it there. So i did create a new user and installed the Premiere Elements 2023 there and to my surprise it worked with that user. Is there any way i could get it to work in my default user? Thanks!

Folgende Meldung von der Adobe-Webseite kommt: HTTP Status 404The requested resource is not availableApache Tomcat/7.0.37 Der Support konnte mir nicht weiterhelfen. We want to install the Photoshop Premier Elements to a PC which is not connected to the internet and so require a full installer package to run from a DVD or USB. Can you please provide a link to the full installer and not just the web installer.

In my Adobe Premier Elements 2022 Video Editor I don't understand your terminology when it come to Locking Video Tracks. I have a project that I am using five Tracks. Video/Audio Track One(1)- Video/Audio Track Two(2) -  Video/Audio Track Three(3). Also using Voice and Music Tracks. Project is about 10 minutes long. I have now found that I want to "Insert" at various points,  of addional Video/Photo Clips on Video/Audio Tracks 2 and 3. I don't want to disrupt what is on Video/Audio Track one(1) or Voice and Music Tracks I don't sere anywhere in Program the word "LOCK" or "Unlock" Tracks. I do see the words "Enable" and "Unable" and "Group" and "Ungroup" but don't know how to apply the so I can not disturb the other Tracks when trying to insert new material on other tracks. When I do insert a Clip or Photos it effect all Tracks leaving Gaps.  When inserting,  everything moves on all tracks leaving an spaces. (Gaps) Question is how do I lock Tracks when trying to inse

Hello, I recently upgraded my license from 2022 to 2023.I noticed that in my audio filters, DeNoiser and NewBlue audio filters were all gone.Is this a feature regression, or do I have a botched download? My install is on Windows, I know that Mac has different options, but I saw that these features are still in the Adobe support guide, what's going on? 

I have been googling sites to find more transitions for Adobe Premiere Elements 15, but I keep hitting dead ends. What service do you use to acquire transitions for Adobe Premiere Elements 15? I prefer free downlowds without monthly subscriptions.

I want to create a new project with 9:16 aspect ratio but can't find any between the provided templates or edit the resolution of the project before or after that it has been created.  Any suggestion? 

Dear CommunityI created some Presets for Effects for Clips. I want to delete some of and - more importantly - backup those presets since I have to move them to a new PC.I searched my Harddrive for this presets (with no success) and I can't find any way in Premiere Elements to do this, nor in Elements Organizer, nor do I found any Information in Adobe Help or Google. Can anybody point me in the right direction, please? Thank you so much,Best,Florian

I filmed a few videos with my Google Pixel 7 and wanted to edit them in premiere elements 2021, but I keep getting the same error message: HEVC and HEIF media cannot be added, the tips from the linked page didn´t yield any succes.What can I do?Thanks

I have recently upgraded from Premiere Elements 2018 to 2021. This seems to have introduced an odd behavior when images are inserted (Add Image...) from the Text menu. It seems that, if the images are high resolution, then Elements now crops the image before insertion (in a centered fashion). I cannot find a way to undo this cropping (scaling just scales the cropped image). I can work around the problem by downsizing the image before inserting, but that is not very efficient. Note that the "Default scale to frame size" option does not seem to have any impact on what happens (same result whether checked or not). This cropping behavior was not present in 2018 (photos inserted were scaled to fit but didn't get cropped), so it seems like something has changed. Is there a different procedure that should be used? Is it a bug? I appreciate any suggestions that anyone might have. Thanks in advance.

To close a project and open another, I am forced to Exit the application and re-open it. Is this normal for Primiere Elements 2022? I downloaded this program with Photoshop Elements last year but am finally needing to use it now. Did I receive a bad download?

Well I hope I'm wrong, but the first thing we noticed after purchasing 10-Elements 2023 licenses was that burning to DVD is gone. The second thing we noticed is that most of the Audio FX are gone. This is an upgrade? Why does it appear that everytime you upgrade Adobe, you lose features? Nice upgrade!  

Hi All,I am a beginner, so please be kind to me... 😉 I am working on my parents old 8mm movies (made between 1958 - 1970), got them digitalized.I am adding "text(=names)" to the persons (old relatives) by making a "picture" (freezing the movie during 5 sec), works just great.BUT, when checking the movies, I realized that I have named some of them wrong - and I can't get hold of the text again, can not correct/change my added text !!!???Please, need some help.... 😉 /Christian

I am using Adobe Premier Elements 2022.After inserting a number of individual pieces of music only in my time line and then exporting the whole clip to a CD how do I click on my CD player to skip to certain tracks?
