I purchased an upgrade to Elements 2023 today but it looks like 2022 was downloaded.  How can I fix this? 

I've been using Premiere Elements successfully for some time.  My edits are usually fairly straightforward and simple. I usually end up with a 5 minute or less clip to export at the end.  In 4K 3840x2160 60fps that will usually take around 30 minutes or so to export. Yesterday I started experimenting with more advanced (for me) adjustments adding an adjustment layer and several effects (x4) to that.  Then I went to export it.  16 hours later it finished!  The clip looks great but I can't afford to wait all that time if that's expected.  Is that normal? Or do I need to look deeper? I'm using PE2022 with a Windows 10 Intel Core i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz and 32GB RAM and SSDs

Hallo,aktuell habe ich ein Problem bei meiner Premiere Elements 2021 Version.Es ist ein Pop-Up erschienen, dass ich mich neu anmelden muss / mein Produktschlüssel neu eingeben muss. Das habe ich auch getan und sobald ich bestätigt habe und das Fenster verschwunden ist, ist es erneut aufgetaucht und ich sollte alles von vorne machen. Irgendwann habe ich versucht, die zweite Auswahloption ( kostenlose Testverion ) auszuwählen, damit dieses Fenster weg geht. Ich habe meinen Schlüssel ja schon eingegeben, also das Produkt bestätigt.Allerdings will ich dann anfangen etwas zu schneiden und ich habe jetzt das Wasserzeichen permanent auf dem Bild und ich weiß nicht wie es wieder weg geht. The Preivew icons are distorted.  They are also distorted when I drop them onto the Video timeline.  This started happening suddnly after already completeing a few movies.   It looks like the computer is having difficulty loading the content completely.  It's doing this with new and older projects.  Did I accidentally enable something?  The PC is a few month old and was overspected to run video editing software.  See attached screen capture 

THIS IS PREMIER ELEMENTS 2020 ...On my Premier Elements 2020 my Timeline just changed...It is NOW showing only file name; i.e., IMG_0000.  This happened before, I found steps to change back to images, but now can't find.  Can someone please help me to change it back to file thumbnail IMAGE?  THANK YOU so very much if you can

Hi there, I have used Premiere Elements 2020 for 2 years now. 2 weeks ago I thought buying the new 2022 version in hope to have better performance. This version is totally crap, what have you done with that program.   1. It takes up to 2 minutes to load a project in the edior 2. My system is running totally slow when I change brightness, gamma or external light or any other things until the program crashes.3. After programm crash I am not able to load the project file again - the program crashes immediately - all work was in vain   Sorry I dont know why I have paid money for this crap. Version 2020 also was not that stable but worked without any bigger bugs.

Hallo, wenn ich ein Video speichern will und dafür "Datei" > "Exportieren und freigeben" aufrufe, kann ich einen Haken vor "Nur Arbeitsbereichsl. freigeben"? setzen. Doch was das für Folgen im Vergleich, wenn ich den Haken nicht setze? Eine kleinere Dateigrößere?Gruß Wolfgang

How do I convert a prel to mp4? With 2018 it happened in render and export. Now I have 2022 (with Windows 11) and it hangs with render and export. 

New to Premiere, but very familiar with Photoshop Elements. Trying to add music at precise point in movie, which is combo of 3 title slides + video (mp4). I find the UI in Premiee very challenging, so I need precise guidance. So, e.g, don't say "zoom in to Timeline" without telling me steps. Thanks very muchJoe

Hey guys,I'm using premier elements 2020. Once I've edited a title, is it possible to save that as a new template? 

Ok I haven't had Premier Elements 19 for long (was going to get 18 but I just happen to catch the release of 19 apparently lol) and I found out the other day you can create custom titles.I'd like to be able to do this for videos at some point but so far the only means I see of saving a custom title is by modding one of the presets.. and the ones with a background image doesn't seem to let you replace that image?I can find workarounds for what I want to do, but I don't want to have to do it every time I open the program. So is there away for me to create a custom title screen from scratch and saving it as a custom title? If not how do you replace the background image for the preset titles and save it so that the image is there? If I wanted the title to have an animated background would that just end up having to be saved as a video instead of a title (basically kind of like an intro of sorts).I really hope this makes some level of sense.

I edit a series of video files to make a DVD, but each time I re-enter Premiere Elements, most of my videos get marked as "Offline".  I have not moved any files, so the "pointers" should still be valid.  After noticing this, I then use "Replace footage" to re-link to the same file, and it look good.  But once I close Premiere Elements, and re-open it again for another editing session, they show "Offline" again.  My project has about 58 video files that I need to edit together.  Does anyone know what might be causing this?

I was asking about Image Burn and was able to download the program. I have a DVD that will play on the computer and a blue ray player that I wanted to copy and reproduce. It did that successfully but now I have another problem. Image burn saved the file in a mds file and I am able to burn that onto a new disk. However it will play all of the way through on my laptop computer but it will not play all of the way through on my blue ray player. What is the problem and my next solution? I am using an HP computer with Windows 10 and have a Sony Blue Ray player. 

I have a brand new Dell xps 9570 with an intel core i7, 16 gb ram, nvidia graphics card. Running windows 10. I downloaded and installed premiere elements and photoshop elements bundle from Dell. First time I installed, everything seemed good. I used premiere for a couple hours, tried out photoshop, and all worked well. The next day premiere would not start and photoshop had a weird freeze when using the guided editing. I Uninstalled and reinstalled the previously downloaded files. Premere and photoshop both opened fine and I used each for 5 min. THen I closed the laptop and an hour later tried to open premiere again and it won't open. When I try to open it, the welcome screen appears and starts playing it's promotional videos, but when I click on "video editor" or use the drop down menu to select "new Project" nothing happens except a blue bar appears on the video editor button for a few seconds.So as of now I heve photoshop elements working, but no premeire.When I open task manager an

See screenshot attached.  Music files corrupted in oranizer but are not when I use editor.  Also, so time when saving or exporting  a slideshow, phantom music is added.Questions:1  How to fix corrupted music in organizer slide show2  Why is music selection OK in Editor, not in Organizer3  How to delete phantom music in Editor, which was auto added to organizer slidshow 

I have Premiere Elements 2022.The software does not recognize my computer camera, or my Logitech QuickCam 5000, when I am on the 'capture' push button dashboard (before or after I press capture)Underneath where it says 'capturing source', there is a permanent message that says "No Device Control'.However, once I press capture, it does record video, with both cameras, I just can't see what I am recording.My computer is a Dell XPS, 7590. My external camera is a Logitech QuickCam 5000.Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.Thanks.Mike

When I add a video clip to the timeline it works OK when the clip is from the band camcorder, when I take the clip which has been taken by the disk camera the clip full all the areas of the timeline. What is wrong? I can't take for example a clip and move it to the other place. What do I have to do if I want to work with two videos? Regards,Pertti Hynninen
