Premiere Elements

Hi there, Please Help! I have a bad problem. I created a 1080p30 FPS project and imported a bunch of 1080p60 FPS videos in Premier Elements 22 and did a huge edit. Once I went to Export the project I realized that my project was 30FPS and therefore the video quality wasn't close to what it could've been. Now I'm trying to figure out a way to either make the existing project a 1080p 60FPS project, or somehow copy this project into a 1080p 60FPS project. Any ideas? Btw, when I check the properties on my video media in this 30FPS project, the clips say that they are 30FPS, so I don't even know if what I want to do is doable coonsidering when I added the media to the project, it seemed to convert the clips from 60FSP to 30FPS. Is there a way to just export the timeline events themselves? And then import the edit itself into a new 60FPS project and then just add the media to it? Thanks!

Hi there,I just purchased Premiere Elements. I started editing a video in the free trial version, and after getting most of the video edited I decided to purchase it to immediately get rid of the "free trial banner" across the video. However, when I received the full version, the video I was editing now has this purple and green glitch over it. This was not present in the trial version. There are some fixes available for this in Premiere Pro, but I have found nothing to correct the problem in Elements. I checked my Windows Updates and everything appears up to date on my computer.If I cannot get this problem fixed within the next 24 hours, I'm likely just going to demand a refund. I cannot use a program that brought this major of an issue within my first few minutes using it.If you can help me that would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi I have used Prem Elements a while ago.  I have installed 2022 ( paid for ) and am having trouble with taking assets to the timeline.  First asset is ok and goes to vid1 and audio 1 as I would expect.  The next asset occupies mutiple time lines and once on mutiple lines you cannot selectivly delete the mutiple insertions. Help   !!!

HelloWhen I create an MP4 movie file in Premier Elements 11 for viewing on a computer and TV DVD Player, Premier Elements also creates a Layout Folder, a .prel file, a log file, an Encoded Files folder, and an Adobe Premier Elements Preview Files folder - all inside the folder that holds the MP4 movie.When I burn the MP4 file to DVD using software such as ImgBurn, do I select the whole folder, with these related folders and files inside it, or only the MP4 file itself?Thanks!

Good day,Please may I ask for some guidance wrt using titles & motion titles across different projects. I have seen there should a "Export File" option when right clicking on project assets to "export / save" and then to be pulled in to other projects as needed. However, this options "Export Title" is not available. It there another way to do this?Example: One project has been finalized with titles / backgrounds / motion all created via Elements Premier 2020 and works great in this project. Now with new content added (let’s call it season 2) one uses the same titles / background as in "season 1". The seasons are different projects but one wants to keep uniformity.How can this be done? I really like creating movies in Premiere Elements, but am disappointed that I can't create menus/chapters and then burn to a DVD.  Does anyone recommend any programs/software to use to take the finished movie from PE and then create menus/chapters and then burn to a DVD?

I have a 3 minute instructional video with narration & static text titles matched to the narration. My text titles have no bacground or a transparent background. I have located the text titles all over the screen as the video plays. I have text titles appearing at top, bottom, middle & side, depending how the background affects readability of the titles. Does the free trial of Adobe Premiere Elements 2021 have the same functionality as the full paid version?

Dear all, I have got Adobe Premiere Elements 2020.I also subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud.But I can't find any tutorial or explanation that confirm that I can use creation from Adobe Effect to Adobe Premiere Elements and how it works.Besides, if it is possible how is it possible to convert the format of the file or project. Hope my request will be understandable enough as I am French.

I am using Premiere Elements 2021 on PC running windows 10. After installing the latest update Premiere Elements 2021 fails to start. Organizer and Photoshop are working fine.The application starts to load the Adobe Premiere Elements Editor workspace then suddenly stops without  warnings.What can I do to resolve this?

How can I create a .srt file (subtitles script) with Premiere Elements 2021 for an edited video?Is it possible?If so, how do I go about making a .srt file for my edited video?Please let me know community.  Thanks for your posts!Sid

I just installed Premier/Photoshop Elements 2021.  The organizer won't show any drop down menus, minimize/maxime, etc.  Even the Import, Create, Share buttons are not working.  The only ones that work are Media, People, Places, Events.  Everything else just doesn't do ANYTHING or open any drop-down menus. I have uninstalled completely and reinstalled TWICE.  Also, the actual editing parts are working fine.  It's just the Organizer.  Thanks for any assistance you can provide!

Hi there,I have a big problem with my Adobe Premiere Elements. I import some videos to my timeline and now I want to watch them. But the playback stops after half a second. Its not always the same time, but most of the time I have to press PLAY again after half a second. Sometimes the video playback runs 3-4 seconds. What can I do? I cannot work with my program any more with behavior like this. This problem is occuring suddenly, I never had these problems times ago....Can somebody help me?Martin

When trying to open a new project in Premiere 11, I get the error noted in these screenshots. OS: Windows 7, 64-Bit

After upgrading to Premiere Elements 2019 and creating a video and trying to burn a Blu-Ray disk and searching for why I can not burn a BluRay I read:  "With each new release of Adobe Premiere Elements, Adobe reviews industry standards, market trends, and user feedback to define the new feature set. In Premiere Elements 2018, support for Blu-ray and AVCHD disc burning has been removed. " Why?  Why eliminate a very useful function of the program?  AVCHD - Ok, I have never used that, but Blu-Ray?  You should be adding BluRay 4k.  Very disappointed.  Who would even think that this function would be removed? This was never identified in any of the ads for the program. Very disappointed.  Will not recommend this program any more.

I posted this originally as a reply to a post in 2018.  I am not sure if I would have been better to create a new post, so here it is: I have been using Premiere Elements (PE) (currently version 2021) for several years without any problems.  Now (October 2021), in Expert Mode, playback stalls about every 70 seconds and I have to press <Play> to continue.  I note other people have had a similar problem going back several years.  I have seen suggestions that the problem might be connected with other programs taking the focus.  I don't think this is the case for this problem. In an attempt to resolve the problem,  I downloaded and ran other video editing software and none has this problem. I downloaded Premiere Elements  (PE) 2022 and the problem disappeared. I uninstalled PE 2022 and reran PE 2021 which now no longer has the stalling problem.  This suggests that PE 2022 left shared file(s) behind when I uninstalled it.&nbs

I am trying to change an M4A file to an MP3 in order to edit it in Adobe Premiere Elements 18. When I drop the file into the editior it says: Importer has reported a generic error message.Thanks for any help 

I am currently trialing Premiere elements 2022 and was wondering if I can add my own music scores to my movies rather than using the ones with the software?

Hello. I have had Adobe Premiere Elements 2020 for about a month and a half now, and everything has been great. Zero issues that werent user error. But this morning when I woke up to continue editing a YouTube video, I found that my playback speed was unusually fast. And not just for one clip, its like the video was playing in 2x speed. I havent tried exporting it yet, but I will after this is posted. Also, the music that I have playing in the background is very choppy and is also sped up, I've searched Google, Reddit, here, etc and I haven't found anything on how to fix this issue within Elements. I found one for Premiere Pro, but the layouts are so different I couldnt use that answer. Anything helps, thank you in advance.

I have just upgraded my Premier Element to the new 2022, due to a problem I had with my old version. But I have the same problem with the new version. I import media from a webcam. The file is 1.5 Gb and it takes about 9 minutes to play. When this file is opened in Adobes timeline it is reduced to only 2 minutes. If I open this file in any other programs than Adobe the hole file plays at 9 minutes. What is wrong? I am using Win 10.

Adobe Premiere Elements 2022 is unable to start properly when I was at 82% of exporting the video I did in 3840x2160 60fps and it had an export error. I need help, I closed all the apps, turned off autosave, and reduced the resolution. But nothing worked.

Hello.  Last week my video editor suddenly stopped working.  I am not positive but I believe the computer had run an update.  When I tried to reopen Adobe Premier Elements 2018 Video Editor I got the following image. The blue bar underneath the video editor tab continues to run like it is trying to load but after 1/2 hour of trying nothing happened.  I tried to uninstall and then reinstall using my serial number. However, I get the same issue.Any ideas on where to begin looking for a solution would be greatly appreciated.  As a SIDE NOTE, I did notice that there was an offer to upgrade to the NEW "AUTO REFRAME" for 2022 could this possibly be interfering with performance of the program?

Dear,Editing MTS camcorder video files (1920x1080). Is there a big difference of quality between the export options: A/ exporting quickly (the first option, in dutch it is called 'snel exporteren') 1280x7206074 kbps, 30 frames/sec B/ adapting (apparaten aangepast) the export myself to  1920 x 108014.945 kbps25 frames /sec  Logically I would go for B/ as it is equal to the original.This option gives bigger files, what I understand.But why isn't this one of the main options? And what is the damage when exporting to A: with smaller frame definition, more frames/sec (!?!) and a much lower bitrate.Both have the MP4 extension. Secondly: it is only possible to export to Avi in 720x576. format.
