Hello. I'm very much a beginner when it comes to understand whats making my computer run, especially when exporting videos so please be patient with me. I know there are many threads about CPU and GPU but I got lost looking through them all.My problem:Premiere is set to "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" but when I check usage the CPU is being utlised more than the GPU. CPU is in the high 90% and the GPU 20-30%.I'm using Premier Pro cc2019My computer is an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-53)Intel Core i5-8300H CPU 2.3Hz 2.30 GHz8 GB RAM64 bit operating system x64- based processorGeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GBCan someone help me please?Thank you,Mark
This question was asked in an earlier thread, but the thread is several years old. I have the latest version of Adobe Premiere Pro, but my laptop is too old to handle Premiere Pro. I would like to know if anyone can recommend a laptop that is reasonably priced and can handle Adobe Premiere Pro. I am on a tight budget and the ones that are recommended by internet gurus are too expensive for me.
Hi guys 😃 Does a big CPU L3 cache improves the performance of apps like premiere pro, and after effects? helps on faster rendering and smoother video previews? What exactly is the L3 cache memory? and also, what other tasks is the L3 cache memory specifically targeted? and for example what would be the difference from a 12mb L3 cache CPU to a 128mb L3 cache CPU like the ryzen 9 7950x3d thank you 😄
Hi all, Does anyone know where I can buy JUST the little switch for the video mic pro? See attached photo. It came off and I lost it and I don't want to pay $200 for a brand new mircophone just to get a new switch. I thought eBay or Craigslist but I haven't found much. Thanks.
Hi! I'm a graphic design student and I recently bought a Lenovo 14" ideapad slim 1 laptop with 16gb of ram and 512gb storage. I don't start uni for a couple of months but would this be okay for illustrator, indesign, photoshop and after effects? I hope it will be cause I'm broke and I can't drop over a 1.5k (aud) on a MacBook Pro with ram upgrades. Thank you
I have a Macbook Pro M2 Max with 2 TB of storage and 96 GB of RAM and am regularly working in Premiere, AE, and Character Animator. Per the recommendations from Adobe in this article, I have been working off a very fast 2 TB external SSD (LaCie Rugged SSD PRO Thunderbolt) that holds both my project files / media and cache files. I only use internal storage for Adobe apps/system files. In AE, in Settings under Media & Disk Cache, I have Disk Cache, Conformed Media Cache Database, and Conformed Media Cache Database Cache all set to the same location on the external drive. And in Premiere, in Settings under Media Cache, I have Media Cache Files and Media Cache Database set to that same location as well. The help article I mentioned above just says to store the cache on the same external drive if only two drives are available, but it doesn't specify if that includes the cache database and all the other settings I mentioned. Is the way that I have
There was a helpful article on Adobe's website outlining hardware recommendations for Premiere Pro and After Effects, but the article seems to have been removed. If you search for it in Google, it now goes to a simple Premiere Pro requirements page. Here is the cached version I pulled up from Google: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:P4t2gTOwq_IJ:https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/kb/hardware-recommendations.html&hl=en&gl=us Anyone from Adobe know why it was removed? Hoping it was a mistake and can be restored.
Hello. I want to buy a new computer, for Premiere Pro and MSFS 2020.AMD processors are recommended for MSFS. How does this relate to Premiere? Please give me your opinion, my starter kit:I make sure it's quiet and stable. There are RGB elements, but I want to give them up, I don't want LED.I'm ripping VHS, so I need to connect a FireWire 800 IEEE1394b card.I selected it for MSFS, will it be ok for Premiere Pro? Best,I am looking for a new laptop for my son in animation. I am trying to convert VHS tapes to .avi using my VCR and my Sony TRV310 D8 camera and Firewire. I did this successfully a while back and am attempting it again but I am forgetting some key ingredient. My Set up: No Hi8 tape in the camera VCR OUT connected via composite cables to the connections on the side of my camera. Camera connected to PC via firewire. PC recognizes the Sony camera. Camera switched to VTR mode (Playback) Capturing with PPro 5.5 Hit play on the VCR, and PlAY on the camera and the PC capture screen is blank. Press record on the PPro capture screen, No capture. I have tested all components and if I play theVHS tape I can see it on the camera screen unless the firewire is connected. I can play a Hi8 tape and capture it just fine using PPro. I just have a nagging feeling I'm forgetting something simple? Thoughts? TIA. Text edited my mod: camera is a D8 not Hi8.
Hello, Premiere Pro community,I'm currently using Premiere Pro on a new laptop with an Intel i7 12th gen processor, Nvidia 3070 graphics card, and 16 GB RAM. Despite the upgraded hardware, I'm experiencing performance issues, such as sticking during simple editing tasks like adding text or moving videos. I'm unsure how to optimize the settings properly. Can someone suggest optimal settings or solutions to improve performance?Thank you!
i want to buy the t5810 workstation as they're cheap in my country. I wanted to know if the xeon 1650 V4 will support hardware encoding with a AMD RX 590 gpu. It will have 32GB of ram. Also how long do you think will a 4K video render in? I can't find any reviews with xeon rendering 4K footage?
Hi I'm looking to get a new PC. Will the spec below give me a smooth and fast user experience with Photoshop, LR and LR classic? I'm a hobbyist photographer working with stills. My current set up is an old laptop - fine for light edits in Lightroom CC, but not for anything more heavy duty. Getting a new PC for work. IT is trying to push me into one of these two, see screenshot. The new PC is needed because my current one cannot handle 4K video files at all. Everything I have read on 4K video files says you need 3.2GHz or faster. IT is leaning toward the one with the i9-12900 core since it comes in the brand they perfer. But the clock speed is lower than the 3.2GHz. They tell me it's a better one because the turbo speed is higher than the turbo speed on the i9-10900X-3.70GHz.And no, I am just not going to take their word for it... they picked out my last desktop which is less than a year old... and has never been able to handle 4K video. I'm the only design person in the company so they have no reference point. What would you pick? Why? What is turbo speed? Or if these are both a bad choice, let me know.

Your system's hardware does not suppport hardware acceleration for the current settings. This message does not appear in HEVC, you need to exit mov apple to make a transparent video. Omer Koca
Hello, I hope I'm in the right place here when looking for suggestions for a new PC hardware upgrade.WIth my Panasonic GH4 I film clips with the following specs. .MP43328 x 2496px60 fps145Mbit/sFor smoother playback in Adobe Premiere I already work with proxies. But when I have several clips stacked and use effects then it jerks. Here is my current setup:Intel Xeon E3-1230 v3NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB GDDR516 GB DDR3 RAMSamsung SSD 840 EVO 250GB for Adobe Premiere Pro installationSamsung SSD 850 EVO for Adobe Projects and Proxies2x Seagate Barracuda 4 TB HDD for original video filesSo now I'm thinking about upgrading my PC with an Intel Core i7-13700K.Would you suggest this CPU too?How about faster NVMe M.2 SSD(s) like the Samsung 990 Pro?And/or DDR5-6000 RAM?Should the GPU also be replaced?Big thanks for your help and have a nice weekendTim
Under what circumstances does the 2024 release of Premiere Pro have "five times faster timeline editing"? I just updated and timeline editing is exactly 100% as slow as it was before.. Admitedly my system is a little bit dated at this point, I was hoping for 1 or 2 times faster timeline editing but instead got a solid 0 times faster.. Was this nothing more than marketing? Or is it only with a very specific build that there is any improvement? Win 10 ProThreadripper 1950XRTX 2060 Super96GB Ram
Adobe Premiere Pro 2024 is damaged after updates 5 days ago. Intel and Nvida video adapters are not suitable now, although I updated them according to the instructions.
Ive got my footage on an NVME SSD, Ryzen 7 1700x, 32 GB of Ram and a 3060 TI. It is really exhausting to work on Projects that are longer than 15 Minutes because Premiere Pro starts lagging as hell. Ripple deleting takes a lot of time and juggling clips between multiple squences also makes you wait because of a delay when switching between them.I was wondering if any of these performance Issues will disappear with the best CPU and GPU aswell as slightly faster RAM.
bonjour quel pc utiliser pour la suite adobe
