I am looking into getting a new laptop but I've been through to many that people told me was good for editing even people at Best Buy so I'm trying to get the best that I can get for my money. 

Hi,    Adobe Illustrator refuses to open for me, stating that there is some kind of system compatability issue with the Intel Graphics driver I have (apparenlty it's an old version that needs to be updated).    HOWEVER: I went to the Intel page to updte the driver I need but Intel actually recommend on this page https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/intel-driver-support-assistant.html to use only the graphics driver provided by Dell, since Intel only provide drivers for testing purposes: (belwo info coied an pasted from this webpage:)   "2 software updates available Install all Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers Install Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite any customized driver from your Computer Manufacturer (OEM). Hi everybody,Recently we switched from a Mac Pro (Late 2013) to a Windows PC.Here are our specs:Asus X99-A IIIntel Core i7-6900KAsus GTX 1080 STRIX GAMING NVIDIA 8GB D5X64 GB Corsair D432GB 2400-16Unfortunately everytime we want to render our sequence in Premiere we get the following GPU render errorWe tried rendering the sequence in 1080p or 4K.Different formats like H264 and Quicktime. CBR, VBR 1, VBR 2, nothing really helps.Old an new Nvidia drivers etc.. We literally tried everything.The weird thing about this GPU error is that the point of failure is always somewhere else.The footage we are editing is from our RED Epic-W mostly shot in 6K or 8K RAW.Our composition is 3840 x 2160.We used different dynaminc links between PR and AE, some with the RSMB plugin.Setting RSMB to render by CPU instead of GPU doesn't help either.We can render the sequence in three different parts and then combine them together.But thats a big waste of time.I can't imagine that one of the most popular graphi

Hi, I have a AMD Ryzen 9 5950x 16 core processor with a ROG Crosshair VIII Hero. When i render, the CPU usage is only around 20% but the temps go 80+ and alot of the time cause my pc to close down due to the CPU overheating. I've run a stress test on my PC, with the CPU at 100% usage and the temps are around 60 degrees so this proves there is nothing wrong with the CPU/cooling. Does anyone know why adobe would cause such high temps? I dont have any problems with any other programs or games.  I appreciate any help.

Good Afternoon,Hope you're enjoying the weekend.My current laptops (Dell Inspirion 13-7359) graphics card is not compatible with running Adobes Video Production platforms.  I'm going to try and upgrade my RAM and/or download an off brand (AMD) tomorrow once I speak to DELL one last time. NVIDIA was my first choice but they don't have a graphics card for my laptop.My second plan was to purchase a used, or new MacBook from Ebay, Amazon or another third party. A friend said to wait to purchase one because the next macbook should be out later this year but I would like to get the ball rolling with running some of Adobes platforms.I'm looking for some suggestions on other options for me to run a graphics card on my current system (DELL)? Or any suggestions on a used macbook and a reliable source to purchase one? Maybe I should wait for the new one later this year?Any recommendations are extremely helpful.Thank you in advance,Andrew

I have a asus Core i3 7th gen. I'm wondering if this would have problems running premier pro?  I've been using Premier Rush and it constantly freezes and crashes. Would Premier Pro be better or worse than this?

Hi, I'm wondering wich configuration is better for Premiere Pro.-2  Hard drives (SSD+NVMe)or-3 Hard drives (SSD+NVMe+HDD) I was thinking HDD for Media, because I figured out once files are imported program not should be using it during the editing, except the Export. But what about renders an pre-renders? I don't Know well the importance of having separate in three hard disk the configuration if my third hd is slowing down the procces.Thanks in advance

Hi I bought a dell 5593 notebook with i7, 8 ram, 256g ssd and nvidia mx 230 gpu, I have trouble editing because my laptop overheats and starts to crash. I tried to disable the gpu, change to the older version that allows creative cloud and it doesn't work. What I can do? Is there any other version of premiere pro cc that can work with this gpu?

I think that I would buy a notebook that brings the gpu nvidia gforce rtx 3060 (6g), but I can´t find this in the list of recommendations. Can i use it?

I'm buying a laptop running Windows 10 as a portable video-editing workstation running Premiere Pro CC. The laptop comes with the following: 480 GB Corsair M510 M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 SSD as the boot drive, a slot for a second M.2 PCIe SSD, 16 MB RAM, AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti GPU. So at the time of this post, this isn't a top-notch video-editing machine -- but it's affordable and capable, and I want to apply the price difference between this and a more-premium laptop to adding a second SSD.With two internal SDs, my objectives are to avoid the inconvenience of external drives for wire-free portability, while ensuring smooth playback, along with above-average rendering and export speeds -- i.e. much faster than but not necessarily the fastest compared to HDD -- for 1080p and sometimes 4k video projects. what are the recommended gpu for laptops? Are they the same as recommended for desktop PCs?

Hey all, I've just got Premiere Pro a week ago and I've encountered some problems with my hardware. First is about the display of my laptop. It's only a 1366x768 display, which doesn't fill the requirements, however Premiere Pro would start regardless and function almost properly, with a slight flaw that the preview screens has green stripes over it. However I have my TV screen lying around and this is a 4K screen too, which surpasses the minimum requirements quite a lot. However when I launched Premiere Pro on that screen the green stripes are still clearly visible. My laptop uses an Intel UHD Graphics 620 VGA, and while it's a "bottom of the barrel" VGA, I read on this forum that it is still usable. Hi everyone, A couple of weeks ago I posted about my 'several year old' laptop not coping with running Premiere Pro. In a nutshell, the answer was 'get a new computer'.I'm no computer excpert by any means but after much research, I now have a good base knowledge of the specs needed to efficiently run Premeire Pro. I was keen on another laptop but with the cost and limiting nature of a laptop, I have decided to go with a desktop set up.Now, due to massive delays and supply issues with computer components here in New Zealand, my computer guy is not able to source the parts/compnents I had in mind but is able to get hold of a HP Z4 G4 Tower workstation with the following specs.What are your thoughts on the build and its ability to efficiently run Premiere Pro without lag and speed issues, also the 'future proofing' of the set up. Lenovo, running Windows 10 Home, using a Geforce MX230 graphics card on driver version 430.81.  Premiere Pro is saying this is incompatible, but Nvidia has no SD drivers to update to. Has anyone solved this problem?  Please advise.  Thank you!

What is the best laptop for Photoshop and other heavy programs of Adobe? (I have Dell Inspiron 5567 now by the way and I know it's not strong enough) 

Hi everyone, Below are the specs of my laptop ...  It is running a AMD Radeon R7 M340 graphics card. I'm always using the latest version of Premiere Pro (as each version updates) but am getting continuous freezing and crashing of the programme to the point of being pretty much unusable.I've been in contact with Adobe several times, they take remote manual control of my computer, make a few changes but always ends up with the same crashing and freezing.I realize my laptop is a few years old now and the graphics card old as well. Am I able to simply install a new (read better) graphics card to handle the Premiere Pro programme or is the whole laptop build just too old now. Thanks very much, Matt

I know this gets asked a lot, but after buying a new AMD based system to edit 4k video in Premiere Pro, I figured I needed to ask this time. I'm trying to find a real world laptop that will do what I need it to do. I'm not oppossed to going high end, but I'd rather keep it under 2K. Thanks in advance.
