Hello,I'm asking for help with the new version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.I'm working as a proofreader and I have used a lot the commenting feature to mark errors and point potential improvements to typesetter working in InDesign.Especially useful was the feature of typing leading or trailing spaces in comments (e.g., in Add Text or Replace Text features) such that typesetter in InDesign can automatically apply my remarks to the book.Recently, however, I've discovered that Adobe removed the possibility of leading/trailing whitespaces - see What's new in Adobe Acrobat (and the below screenshot from the linked webpage). Is it possible to disable this "enhancement" somewhere in options? If it is not, then, dear Adobe, I'd be very glad if you allowed us to at least to configure it in the options in the future update? Cheers!
Whenever I open a pdf this "All Tools" sidebar opens up which is very annoying. How can I hide this permanantly that means whenever I will open a pdf this sidebar will not open autometically.
In Dropbox, I have created aliases of several frequently-used files. I stick an asterisk * in front of the aliases' file names, so they show up at the top when appearing in alphabetical order. (Tthe mother node file is a book title that starts with 'W' and so it's way down a huge long list of files.) In Acrobat, which has Dropbox (Personal) fil storage added, *none* of my alias file names show up. Hopefully this isn't normal! Any suggestions? Using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.021.20061, Windows 10 I want to give a presentation using Adobe Reader and so want the mouse cursor to disappear when I go to full screen. The presentation has links, however, so I want to have the cursor reappear if I move it. Currently the Full Screen mouse cursor preference is set to "Hidden After Delay" which I have seen work on other computers. On this computer, the mouse does not disappear after any delay. Setting it to "Always Hidden" hides it successfully but makes it harder to click links. How can I debug this problem to get "Hidden After Delay" to function as intended?
I suddenly have a problem where Adobe Reader will not print. It has printed fine for years (various MACs and OSs), but with no change to the current system, it now fails with an error message (and the printer spits out a blank page). I ran through Adobe's troubleshooting list - no solution. I verified print capability on an identical MAC on the same system and printer - worked fine. I reinstalled Adobe Reader - Nope. I went ahead and upgraded to the current MAC OS - Nope. I re-reinstalled Adobe Reader - NopeAll along and still, my computer will print fine via other apps. Would it be possible for adobe to make e-sign features more intuitve?Specifically within Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat Standard, and either bit version? 32 or 64? For example it would be nice when creating specifically a e-sign siganture it had a feature where it automatically applies the date and time of the e-sign right under your signature. This way it also carries over to Adobe Acrobat Sign for when you have to sign documents sent to your via email

Hello there, Im trying to open Adobe reader but it keeps asking for log in and then, when I do provide correct credentials, it asks for the license key. I input the key but it never activates. Please can you assist. I have tried re-installing but the same thing happens. Kind Regards,Sean
When I double-click a PDF file, Reader DC does not appear to start. Task Manager does not show it in the "Apps" list, but instead shows it twice in the Background processes list. It shows as "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC (32)". If I click "End task" on either process, both stop.If I manually start Reader, then Task Manager shows it in the "Apps" list, and when I double-click a PDF file, it opens and displays the document normally. But if I close Reader, then when I double-click a PDF file, Reader does exactly as first described above. If I continue to double-click PDF files, 2 processes of Reader start for each file clicked and the processes appear in the "Background processes" list, but Reader doesn't open or display any documents.I am running Adobe Acrobat Reader DC version 2018.011.20035 on Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.I found another Question on the Forum related to this called "DC Reader only run as a background process", but it is only "Assumed Answered". I ran all t

After I uninstalled my Adobe Reader and installed the latest version from my "Creative Cloud Desktop" in my Windows computer, the Ctrl+C stopped working (when coping from a textbox). I'm using the exact same documents that were working perfectly fine, and the minute the new version/upgraded was installed, the Ctrl+C is no longer working. I repeat it's not working when copying from textbox, when I copy from regular text it does works. Anyone else exprienced this? any solutions? thanks

I just do not like the current version of the Adobe Reader and have been using the last update to the previous reader version 23.008.2055 on both of my windows 64 bit devices, a laptop and a desktop. Somehow, the program was deleted from my desktop and I am trying to figure out how to either redownload it or copy it from my laptop and then reinstall it from the thumbdrive that I copied it to. I would sure appreciate any assistance please.

Hello all,We use fillable PDF forms in our organization and we are running into a problem. From Adobe Reader ONLY, when a user selects an item on a dropdown list and then clicks into another field, the dropdown select reverts to default value. There is no scripting or anything special about this dropdown, it's just basic text selection. There is also nothing conditional or special coding with any other field on the form. Very basic stuff. It's worth noting that this problem doesn't happen every time and doesn't happen with every user of Adobe Reader. I tried changing the dropdowns to have the option Commit Selected Value Immediately checked and that didn't make a difference.Any thoughts on how to work around this problem or resolve it? I might just change the drop down to check boxes if I have to but I don't want to do that if not necessary. Thanks,Karli
Currently I have Adobe Acrobat Reader Continuous Release Version 2023.008.20555, 64-bit.Starting last February my updates failed with Error 130200. This is not only one computer, but all computers that I take care of.Last February I downloaded the update and ran it manually. That worked. Now I see that there is a new update available when I check for updates. When I click Download and Install I immediately get this message:This is happening on both Windows 10 and Windows 11.
