Hi everybody, I have a problem adding comments to a PDF file and saving this file after the work is finished. I got a message (attached on the screenshoot but in German) that the file could not be safed on this name and that i should give the file another name or another point to safe (both is not possible at the moment). Acutally used Adobe Acrobat Version is 2025.001.20474 Have someone had the same problem and a resolution for it? Thanks for helping here. Greetings from Germany Frank 

Recently downloaded Adobe Acrobat. During installation, noticed there were two additional programs downloading, McAffe Safe Connect, and McAfee Security Plan Plus. I did not want them, and had no way to expect they would be part of it. After looking through this community forum page I have seen many references to a checkbox regarding it. Where in the image below is that option regarding McAfee programs, as clicking download simply downloads the setup, and the setup automatically downloaded the other two programs. And the only checkbox present is for the chrome extension.I am more than capable of uninstalling them after the fact, so not that big an issue. But when looking into why it happened, to have the answer apparently be, "you need to uncheck the boxes", is simply not an accurate or satisfying answer. Don't mind it being done, just the lack of transparency that's bothersome. 

Hi, We use Windows OS and Adobe Reader as our main PDF reader at our company. Since there are various attack vectors and vulnerabilities in Reader, Adobe provides a reference guide with most of the options that can be enabled or disable to mitigate this.[0] The ADMX template[1], that can be installed int the component store has not been updated since 2015!!! There is no easy way to add or update the ADMX template, because the Preference Reference list[0] is ONLY a vieweable HTML page. Why Adobe does not provide an updated ADMX template with all of the lastest updates or changes ? And even the preference reference list does not contain, for example, registry key on how to DISABLE or ENABLE so called "Generative AI". [2] The registry key "bEnableGentech" is not even mentioned in the [0] preference list. I am aware that there are 3rd party solutions, such as, NIST template[3] or Powershell ADMX generator[4] but this does not solve the main issue. I am able to download a PDF document, and fill in the form. However, when I save the document, close it, and open it again, I cannot edit anything anymore. I also cannot digitally sign any of the signature fields. When I open the document after saving and closing, I get a message that reads,"This document enabled extended features in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. The document has been changed since it was created and use of extended features is no longer available."I have another fillable PDF document that works just fine after saving and closing and does not produce the error message, and can be edited after opening again. Can anyone help me out?

i have adobe reader v.2024.004.20220-64bit and use Chrome as browser .  I recently downloaded a pdf file from a research website but when i opened it i found certain images/grpahs were missing. However if i view the same pdf file via chrome , these images ARE visible.   These images are also displayed if i use a different pdf reader like PDF24.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe reader but i still see the same problem. The app itself also generated an error message i.e.   but i think this is more an error with the app rather than the author.  Can anyone shed any light on this very situation?

Witam. Podczas zakupu aplikacji wpisałam adres e-mail z literówką. Zorientowałam się dopiero po aktywowaniu płatności w aplikacji banku. Założyłam drugie konto z dobrym adresem gdyż potrzebowałam na szybko dostępu. Jak anulować tą pierwszą płatność na zły email żeby nie pobierało platnosci dwa razy miesięcznie?

Sorry to be saying this, but I turned 70 this year and am unhappy with where applications like Adobe seem to be going.  I needed a new version for my Windows 10 system as Microsoft's Edge program fails to open some of my Adobe files.  Downloaded the 'Adobe dc reader' and it does its job.  But I was puzzled by the two applications that were bundled with it, apparently a scanner and a partially crippled McAfee virus scanner.  I did not ask for these or see anything about them in the download offer on the Adobe site.  To add insult to injury at boot the next morning the McAfee program installed a second on-line virus scanner on its own.  I have since uninstalled both, but would rather not have to go through this when I am attempting just to download the Adobe Reader.  I fear this behavior of infecting my computer with unsolicited software which McAfee then wants me to pay for and the resent Facebook abuse of user privacy fall into the general area of sof

Hi I have the issue that I can't open more than one PDF file anymore.I haven't changed anything in the settings neither did I install a newer adobe version on my computer. I tried to uninstall adobe reader dc and to reinstall it. Nothing changed. It's funny because last week everything worked as usually. Also I do not receive an error message. Can anyone help me? Self explainatory, previous versions of acrobat had a setting to open pdf's in a new window. This option has been moved as far as I can tell. Where is it, and how do I stop pdf's opening in the same window.

Z@xxx.tmp files are created in temp folder when print PDF using adobe reader.  After these tmp files are created, it makes texts in a html corrupted when view in browser e.g. Chrome, Edge If manual delete Z@xxx.tmp files and re-open browser to view the html file, the display of text resumes normal. Any way to avoid the creation of Z@xxx.tmp files when print PDF? Or any known/planned adobe reader patch can auto delete the tmp files created after printing is done?

I have been using Acrobat Reader, every time I open a PDF a Adobe pop message appears asking me to upgrade or try Acrobat DC. When I close this pop up box Acrobat Reader closes and I am unable to read or save the PDF. I went to re-install the latest version but it appears I already have the latest version.  Any suggestions as I am unable to read PDFs at all!!!

I'm using Adobe Reader on Windows 11 Not sure when the problem started - but probably was after upgrade from Windows 10 to 11 Anyway, I get the 'invalid plugin' each time I try and open a PDF. I've gone through the discussions, and there is a lot of talk about removing the 'Plug_ins' folder or removing apps like bable translation. However, the only folder I have in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC\Reader' is 'acrocef_1', and I don't use any of the apps suggested as being in conflict with adobe reader I have tried uninstalling adobe reader and re-installing, but this made no differenceAny other suggestions on how to remove the error message? Thanks

Hello, I have the problem that when I sign a file using Wacom and export it as a PDF, the text in the document is not visible. Only the signature is displayed.According to my research, the issue lies with Adobe, as it seems unable to load the font. Hello everybody, since this morning, the AI assistant has not been displayed in my Reader. The summary feature is also missing. I have a paid version of the reader and everything has worked perfectly until today. What can I do? Am I doing something wrong?Thx and regards, Maren
