Hi,We are a company that uses 8 licenses of Adobe DC Pro, and after the last update, we can't make use of the software as we were before. We use it for PDF merges and splits mostly, but it seems that the RAM fills up pretty quick and it's exporting mainly blank pages as the merge carries on. Is there an update with regards to finding a solution yet? Also, what's the department from where I can discuss license discounts on the back of this fiasco? Thanks
When I open the Adobe Reader, it showws "Access Denied" and I can't sign in my account. But when I close the window, I can use the software as usual. Is it a bug or something wrong with my account? I have reinstalled Adobe several times but that didn't work.
The format of my File is 4x6".But when the file open with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, it automatically shows on a page 8.5x11".I want it show automatically full page by 4x6" instead of 8.5x11", so I go by File|Print|Properties|Page Setup|Page Size|Custom [Name Fixed], trying to change my default page size.It shows like the below screenshot, my custom option is fixed, I cannot change. Please help to figure this out.
Hi, how can i disable the full screen mode when i open a pdf file with adobe acrobat reader dc ?
I am unable to add new tools to my 'quick tools' toolbar in adobe reader - I've seen guides online saying there is an option to "customize quick tools" when clicking on the blank space in the top right of the toolbar, but this doesn't show for me. I want to add the text box function to this top ribbon, is there a way I can do this? Many thanksGabriel
After the automatic update pf Acrobat Reader DC to version 2100720091 on the 14th of September the applicatrion keeps crasing contiunously. It just stays runningv for less than 20 seconds with or without pdf files open. I have reinstalled the application but that has not resolved the issue. The automatic reporting system of Adobe does not provide any solution.Does anyone know how can I install an older version of acrobat until the issue is resolved, since if I try to install a previous version the installer does not let me proceed, since it states that a newer version of Acrobat reader is installed in the system. Thanks in advance.
I'm installing Adobe Acrobat reader in an enterprise environment under Windows 10 20H2 (all security updates present). When it finishes installation, and I run it for the first time, it opens up fine and I can open a PDF. When I close it, it appears to want to run something else that requires admin elevation. The only unique clue I have is that it gives me this: ac76ba86-1033-1033-7760- bc150114ea700s as the name of an executable. If I deny administrator privileges to it, then I'm properly back on my desktop. If I give it privileges, I'm properly back on my desktop, and it *appears* to not run again. What is this, and can I turn it off, or is it one time only? When I run Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in "native OS mode" on my Macbook Pro with an M1 processor (Mac OS Big Sur 11.6) I am not able to open PDF files that are password protected. If I disable (uncheck) " Enable native OS moded for optimal performance", quit Acrobat Reader and reopen it I am able to open the password protected PDF file.Anyone else running into this issue?
Hello,Is it possible to hide the section "always open PDF files in Acrobat Reader" on the Home tab on the welcome page.I think I have gone through the settings that seem to have to do with this but to no avail. In any case, I have managed to hide everything else but not this.Take care// Martin

Hi! I just got a new Macbook for work and installed all of my Adobe Creative Cloud software. I am an admin on my computer and have been able to successfully open all programs, except for Adobe Acrobat DC. I installed it and clicked the icon to launch and immediately got an error saying "Adobe Acrobat DC quit unexpectedly". It does this every time I try starting the application. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, I have tried shutting down my computer completely and re-launching the application and no luck. I'm still getting the same error. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it? I've seen some posts to the same effect, but they were pertaining to Windows users, not macOS. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
We had Adobe Reader working fine for a long time on the RD server and last week one user wanted to edit files, so I activated a license for them and since then, it upgraded Adobe Reader to Adobe DC Standard. All other users that don't require the upgraded version is required to sign in, so they can't use Adobe Reader. After signing the user out and uninstalling Adobe DC Standard and installing Adobe Reader again, all the users can use Adobe again, but as soon as the user that had the license, open Adobe Reader, it automatically upgrades to Adobe DC Standard. So that causes all the users to have to sign in but they can't even if they had an account, it keeps asking is they want a 7 days trial, they don't require to edit only open pdf's. I used the AdobeCleaner program and it didn't make any differnce.I have cleared out some Registry files, but doesn't seem to have helped. Is there a way to fix this for good. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on catching design inconsistencies in large PDF documents. For example, let's say I'm reviewing a 50 page PDF document that has 20 introduction sections that are supposed to be formatted identically. Other than printing out the entire document to see all of those sections side by side, or scrolling back and forth to compare each section with each other, is there a better method to do this? The text isn't necessarily identical, so I'm not able to flag the same word/words throughout the document. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, our customers/users complain about PDFs not showing up or having a massive delay if they were opened through our Software. Some of them send me a screenshot of the known DDE-Connect error that happens sometimes. As software developer i first checked our software and how we open the PDFs.All steps from creation to deployment to execute the open command are almost instant and successful. We use this windows shell function to open the PDFs (.. surely as everyone does): ShellExecute(handle, "open", <fully_qualified_path_to_folder>, NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL);After this command we are out of scope what is happening... We adviced them to update (cleanup/reinstall) to the latest version of Acrobat Reader... and to do a lot of stuff / hotfixes we found in this forum (cleanup temp folder, registry-fix)... besides that the most are too complex for a simple windows user!! we don't gave the hint to disable protected mode .. but tested it o
Hi all; I am trying to automate saving as a text file from Reader with a folder level javascript. doc.saveAs() does NOT work as there are no PDF converters in Reader (app.fromPDFConverters.length; returns as undefined, this also matches with looking in the save as menu item and seeing only pdf as the only save type option). For my reader installation I can access the menu item in the below screenshot with the following method app.execMenuItem("ADBE:SaveAsAccText"). I have not been able to find in the SDK a more direct access method. The problem is that this opens the save as explorer window and it does not sound like I can automate pressing the save button (also saving to another location). So my ask is: 1) is there a setup I am missing that would get doc.saveAs() to save as a text file? If yes, can you point me to where?2) is there an alternative to app.execMenuItem("ADBE:SaveAsAccText") that allows parameters?3) can parameters (directory path
Hello,My outgoing esignature request email shows a different (previous) company name than the one I have saved in my profile. How do I detect where e-Signature is picking up that information so I can correct it?
First we had loads of problems with the blank Save As. Turned off the "online storage" option. Does disabling this cause Adobe Reader to NOT remember our users last saved area which is on our network server? This is driving everyone crazy having to continuously choose the save path which they want to 99% of time go to our network server...instead it now defaults back to their PCs C: drive instead of our network server "G:" drive!
When I open a PDF document the text appears stacked one letter on top of another. I have uninstalled and installed. The problem keeps popping up Any other solution? --------------------------------------------------------------------------Cuando abro un documento PDF el texto aparece amontonado una letra encima de otra. He desinstalado y instalado. El problema sigue apareciendo ¿Alguna otra solucion?
I can open Adobe Reader just fine but everytime I attempt to print something, whether it's through file, print or the print button, nothing pops up and the program shuts down. I've tried numorous ways to fix this and uninstalled, cleaned, and reinstalled multiple times. Is there anything else I can try?
Having some trouble with latest Adobe Reader. It's installing in a different directory and has a different application name (acrord32.exe is now just acrobat.exe). Normally not an issue however we have a program that looks to a specific location and it' no longer there.
After adobe acrobat reader update to 2021.007.20091, using "save as" result to blank screen and typing history from using Field & Sign - "add text" missing.
