I want to print the document out without having to delete the label lines or do something that changes the shape or colour of the lines, what can I do?
I used my Adobe Acrobat Pro account to compress a large scanned 98MB PDF file for size, not to recognize text, and the resulting compressed file is full or errors. It seems the fonts are all messed up with certain letters being replaced with white space (kind of like in the case of redacting), and so the contents are mostly ineligeble in this compressed file. It seems to me like it's reducing its size by literally deleting characters, which seems kind of absurd. What is going on that is causing this? I have not intended to or need to run text recognition on the file as I realize it is not the best quality text and there is handwritten notes throughout sporadically. How can I get a smaller size file without altering the contents (vs. reduction in clarity quality, which I am okay with!)? Thanks!-Yasmeen
Hi, PDF files are disappearing from the source folder while attempting to save the changes made to the file (there is a good chance that this is happening to only the files downloaded from Outlook...not 100% sure). While saving, the application stops responding, crashes, and the file gets deleted from the system. Once deleted, the files cannot be retrieved from Adobe application, recycle bin or the temp folder...they just disappear!!!This has been happening to a few of my colleagues as well, indicating that this is not a problem with an individual system. Also, this issue has never happened with ay other file types (word, excel, ppt, ot image files). It would be really appreciated if somebody could recomend a fix for this. Thanks in advance!
Below is the message I receive when trying to compress a 5.4MB file. Please advise. An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF.
I'm preparing a five-page document for e-signature. Only the last two pages will have signatures, but the last four out of the five pages will have repeating information on the top of the pages, to be pre-filled before sending out the document. I sent a similar letter last year without any issues cloning fields. This year, however, Adobe PDF will not let me move a cloned field to different pages. It just pops back to the previous page. While it's not a showstopper to have to type in this information a few times, it is definitely going to take a lot more time for me to do this on the 700+ letters I have to send out. Is there an issue with the newer version of Adobe that needs to be fixed, or a workaround to cloning these fields? I've tried just typing in the name of the field that I want the information duplicated to, but of course, the software won't allow that. 🙂 I'll probably try to report it as a bug.

I need a copy of my billing history for tax purposes, where can I print this?
I have several users reporting the same issue with their Acrobat Web version. The installed desktop client works and all other web applications like Adobe Express work. This has been tested on several browsers and systems with the same issue. All users are linked with Acrobat Pro licenses. Cannot figure out what is causing this issue with just the Acrobat Web version. Any thougths?
Users are reporting that when they open a PDF in document cloud and edit they are unable to save these edits and are receiving the error above. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved? Thanks
Here's my scenario, which I'd like clarification on more than anything. Upload file for compressionSelect High compression (which says it will reduce it by 2/3 file size 👍)Acrobat Online compresses it to less than 1/10 🙄I select to download regardless and (here is the point) – it asks if I want to download this PDF or a compressed version which is 2/3 smaller 🥴I choose the smaller one because obvs that's what I'm here for, but then it complains and says it's already compressed 🤯 So, why is the compression really poor initially and why does it give me an option to download a properly compressed file, but not actually allow me to do it? Why am I paying for this privilage?
Yesterday, when i was trying to print some documents, the print preview was blank. When I ignore it and proceed to print, the printing outcome is really blank. I tried to open those PDF files with Google Chrome, able to print and print preview is there. So, the issue was, there is no print preview in Acrobat. Then I tried to follow some online guides, the settings etc. and eventually I uninstalled and reinstalled again. And right now, the issue becomes, I cant open Acrobat at all. I urgently need it for work purpose, can anyone assist on this? Thank you so so so much in advanced.
Hi, I needed to move batches of between c.50 - 200 pdf files from one Adobe online folder to another Adobe folder. After selecting the files, the move option is not available on the right-hand-side. The move option even disappears as soon as I select a 3rd pdf file. Screenshots below. Thankfully I was able to move the files via the app, but the function to move a batch of pdf files should also be avilable via Adobe online at https://acrobat.adobe.com/link/documents Thank you
Why do some files not have the bookmark option when using the online version of Adobe? I know how to "unhide" it using the app, but how do we find it using the web version? Not all my employees have access to the app.

The process appears to work but when done, the 'Binder' file contains just one of the two files. I tried this on a another set of two and same result.

HiWhat I don't understand about this reply is that although there is built-in browser support for PDFs, I use (& I'd assume the OP is using) the Adobe Acrobat Chrome extension. Written by Adobe, no? The browser may not support links to attached files in a PDF document, but I would expect Adobe's own extension to. It doesn't, but I would expect it to.Could you explain why Adobe's extension not supporting their own file structure is the browser provider's problem to sort out?I'm honestly interested to know.
I I convert a pdf to docx will I still have the pdf availableto me?
