When reading the summary information on the Adobe Stock page regarding various license types, vs. the full terms an conditions, I am seeing an inconsistency. On the summary page, it states that you may not use a standard license on an item for resale where the primary value is associated with the asset. That implies that if it is not (such as a book cover, or illustration within a book where the primary value is the content of the book), then it would be allowed if the total image is not reporduced more that 500,000 times. However, in the full terms page section 3.1 B (2) it states that you may not incorporate a work into merchandise intended for sale under the standard license. These 2 statements appear to be at odds. If I were to use a Stock image on a book cover intended for sale and a handful of others in the book itself, would I require an extended license? I have seen comments on some other posts indicating it was allowed under the standard lice
Hello there! I have licensed a video, and I am trying to find out if the author made alternate versions, or if someone else did? How would I go about browsing available licenses from the SAME AUTHOR &/or Contacting the Original Author or if all else fails, Finding a license with much of the same attributes (ex if another artist had been able to license it out, then recreated it in a way that could be licensed as a new product...ex:color correction of the original, not sure if this is even allowed idk, but you know, potentially if the original author had licensed a photo and effected it, then another artist did like wise with them) Thank you immensely for your help in advance!!!
I signed up to the Adobe Stock trial and cancelled before the service expired. I have since been charged for 2 months of service use despite me cancelling in plenty of time. I've tried to cancel again but Adobe are trying to charge me a hefty cancellation fee for cancelling early. I can't believe that Adobe treat their customers like this. Trying to resolve this issue through customer care has been nearly impossible. Shame on you Adobe. I can only hope that you respond to this post.
Hello. I am using an HTML template from 'templatemo' (don't know if I'm allowed to post links here) and the licensing on the site states that all images are free to use. However, an image search revealed that the images in that template are actually from Adobe Stock. Am I allowed to use them freely without any commercial gain - eg. on a dummy E-commerce store that does not actually sell stuff, only shows what I can do? Also, 1. 'With a Standard license, you may not Distribute the stand-alone file' - does this mean that I can't push my repo with all the code, HTML and assets (images) to GitHub? 2. 'Create merchandise, templates, or other products for resale or distribution where the primary value of the product is associated with the asset itself' - I mean, the primary value is the site itself, the code, but the banners/product images, etc., make the site look better, thus increasing its value as something I can build. Is this an issue?3. 'Transfer the license to more th
I've tried two similar templates but neither seems to be complete. Example, 358076992. Looks like it should include 12 images as shown in the preview. When opening in PS or AI only 2 are present. Am I missing something?
I want to cancel my adobe stock plan, but I can't manage to do so without the manage plan button. Any ideas?
Hello, A newspaper asked me for an interview and also asked if I have images that would fit with the interview. My company has licenced "standard licence" images. Can I give her those images to use in that newspaper interview and just credit them or do I need another type of licence? Or maybe it is not possible at all to allow an interviewer use our company images?
Wow, I can't believe how easy it is to accidentally license an image with a mis-click on the search view page. The fact it seems this has been a problem for years is shocking. Can I get a credit for image #341104083?
Hello. I work at a university museum and have access to an Education License through the university's account that offers free downloads of certain images. I'm hoping to confirm whether the Education License allows these images to be displayed in an exhibition at the university's museum. Thanks in advance!
I licensed this asset:id=256000308But when I put my design in the result is distorted and unusable. Is there a way to get assistance from the creator, Medialoot? Here's there link: https://stock.adobe.com/contributor/208410641/medialoot?load_type=author&prev_url=detail
I lincensed file #248712400 (.ai) but downloaded image is the same as #248712150.Can i somehow get the correct one?
I accidentally license and image #179171660 and would like to know how to go about getting back credit. i'm still searching for a group of images for a design.
So wouldn't it be nice if the images were in PSD format so that when we wanted to edit it we could? I am talking of the Vector files and such. Even in Illustrator they come in as one layer. That is a pretty much worthless image. Am I missing something or using Adobe Stock wrong?
I'm sure that plenty of you know that only jpeg files can be downloaded to a phone. I don't understand why this is? I do all of my work on my phone. It is a cumbersome process to save to an old computer that I never use only to transfer the file to my phone. In the same vein, if a pic has multiple formats available the phone will not download the jpeg file.
Hello Team, Where can I go to view which date I will get my monthly 10 assets? I've had this service for 3 years and never checked to see which date of the month I get new assets. Thanks!
I found an image I really like. I downloaded it hoping the whole text would disappear or be a layer that I can remove so I only have the rocket. So here is my question: why is there an image that I cannot use because it already looks like a whole website or is there a way to only download the rocket that I just can't find. Maybe the creator @o_du_wan can comment whats his idea behind this picture. Thank you very much.
I need to provide licenses for the stock images I've purchased to my legal department. Where can I find these?
Hi everyone, I bought two audio files from Adobe Stock but I can't use it on a movie because they don't provide the extented license.Since I noticed that the audio source is FINETUNE MUSIC, I already tried to find this track on their catalogue by searching the title used on Adobe Stock but without success. Since in a previous discussion (https://community.adobe.com/t5/stock-discussions/audio-extended-licenses-for-commercial-videos-in-a-theatrical-release/m-p/11473025#M54873), Adobe was able to provide a link to the original file on another platform, I'm kindly asking if someone could help me the same way. The track I'm looking for is: https://stock.adobe.com/it/search/audio?k=468461483.Stock ID is #468461483. Of course I'd be more than happy to purchase an extended license directly on Adobe, but it seems that it's not gonna be possible anytime soon. Thanks in advance,Daniel Bestonzo
Hi. I took a free asset from Stock (personal account), and I plan to use it for a church (non personal, but not for commercial purposes). It is just for create pieces with messages for encouraging people. Does the free licensing cover this kind of use? If not, there is any way to adopt to cover for this use (mention for the asset creator, Adobe Stock, etc.)?
I understand that i signed up for this. That this is what is in the contract etc etc. But these are hard times! i have been a designer for 20 years, used adobe all this time, and i feel that we all need to be realistic and empathic. Covid 19 is happening to all of us. I have paid for my 117 assets, and want to use them as soon as business is getting better. I lost almost all my income, and need to get rid of unneccesairy subscriptions. HOwever do not want to throw away my assets. ANd i dont know what i will need in future designs. So just randomly downloading 117 pictures is no real solution. I think ethically, adobe needs to be outstanding as they say they are and cut us some slack. Like I can use my 117 assets one year after ending the subscription. I still have my CC subscription. I pay enough every month. Please adobe, help the small freelance designers who have been your customers for all these years. I tried to contact adobe services but been trying for one hour now and keep gett
If I get licensed photos using my membership, do I retain the license to continue to use those photos even if I cancel my membership to the website? I can not find anything in the terms detailing any kind of expiration date other than Adobe Stock retains the right to terminate your license at any time. I'd hope they wouldn't do so with out just cause, but generally speaking, will I be able to use my licensed photos even if I ever cancel my membership?Thank you.
Hi I have 2 questions 1- Why primium images are of the type "Enhanced licnese" and not " Extended license" ? this means we can not use it for selling merchandise? 2- Is it free to be a primium contributor or we should be invited? if we should be invited what is the situations? Tnx
Just like this issue posted in the discussions here, the Adobe team has not made any fixes to the massive issue which is causing all of us using Adobe Stock to have productivity and access issues to ALL of our stock photos. While I can access old libraries here https://assets.adobe.com/libraries?filter=user_libraries, I have no way to access new libraries created from within Adobe Stock... in addition, I cannot use new Stock photos licensed within Adobe Express. This is an abomination to the Adobe Creative suite and causes severe productivity issues, and sincerely is making us move to other services like Canva/Envato Elements/Freepik and so on.... I can't express my dissatisfaction with Adobe Stock more... and I have halted suggesting clients ever use it until this issue is fixed.
Hey Adobe, hey community. I am creating a web based game that is played on a browser ( technically its a web page using css, js and html ) . After reading the licence / terms of use for both standard and extended licence, i am uncertain what license to use.The assets : - templates such as crests, and banners on which text will be applied ( and thus modified )- background images , cropped and used with variuos color palettes i myself will create with photoshop which means they are also modified- architecture ( ancient buildings ) from which i would like to extract elemens to create a new image that can be animated in the browser . Example : https://stock.adobe.com/ch_de/images/interior-del-palacio-real-de-mysore-india/100072562?prev_url=detail The situation : - the "product" is a web based game displayed in a browser that is in principle a webpage- the standart licence allows me to display the ( modified ) assets with unlimited views- the assets are n
