Questions

I'm starting new project in Adobe XD. When I open the file with artboards and enter prototype mode, I select an artboard but the grey icon of home artboard is not showing up! I tried to copy the artboards to new file but it didn't help. Neither I can wire any artboards, but maybe it's because I don't have a home artboard...? The menu on the right is not activated. Can you help me, please?

Hi guys so im trying to create a website with a left navgation but offset the grid to the middle but It seems XD cant do this? Is there a way around this? or does this feature still need to be developed? What i want to do with the built in grid system in xd : Edit; It seems while wrtting this i could possbily do this with the margins and choose how much to have etc - See screenshot : (As you can see ive set it for 56px for margin from 1 side and the other being 256px - 200 for the left nav and then 56 for the margin.) I wanted to know if this is the best way to do this? or anther way around etc? I know figma has like an offset function but not about XD. Thanks  Thank you 

Hi,I have all day this liitle X in the cloud title icon.I thought that cloud doesn't work and XD dousn't saving my file to Adobe Cloud, but have checked and all OK.Anybody knows what is that? Thanks! 

I have created a toggle component and set two states ('active' and 'inactive'). When I click on the toggle it now animates on and off.  Next, I created a text component and set two states ('active' and 'inactive') that transitions the text being displayed based on the selected state.    I'm trying to link the states between the toggle and text so that when I click on the toggle, the text also switches between the active and inactive.  Is this scenario supported?     {Renamed By MOD}  

What i try to archieveI want to have a project file (e. g. Website) with a linked source file (which includes colors, icons/components ...) as base/template for other client jobs. So i can dublicate both files for new jobs, rename them, renew the link between them and only i have to do is to update the source file with the new client specifiactions and my project file is set with the new colors, components and so on. My challengei created a source XD file (source file 1a) with colors and icons and used it as linked assets in an other XD project (project file 1a) for one client. Both are cloud documents. 1st:Now i want to use this combination for an other project/new client. So i thought i save "source file 1" as "source file 2" and do the same for the project file and save it as "project file 2". My idea: I open "project file 2" delete "source file 1" as linked assets and link "source file 2" new to it. So i just have to adjust icons and colors in "source file 2"and my "proje

Hi everyone, I make a prototype in XD and when i scroll down I want the head of my page to move a bit and stop moving so that it doesn't disappear completely. Is it possible? If yes how?   {Renamed By MOD}

Actual Issue: Clicking on objects in my XD composition does not highlight them in layer hierarchy if those layers are inside a component, even though the specific object is clearly highlighted on-screen. Actions such as merging shapes or grouping layers does not update in the layer hierarchy until I change my selection in the hierarchy.  Ex: I click on rectangle A and rectangle B in the hierarchy, click add/merge shapes, and nothing happens to those layers in the hierarchy. If I then click on another layer, say an image, the merged shapes will suddenly update to display as a union in the heirarchy. Rant about XD team: Can you guys just take this app off the launcher and put it back up when it's actually finished? This program has caused so much workplace stress, I will never go to bat for Adobe software purchases ever again. I use some Font Awesome icons in my prototypes, and it seems over the last week or 2 that they are rendered invisible in my prototype links to development. They are perfectly visible in my design document, they also appear in the small thumbnails when the link is shared in Slack, and in the grid view of all the artboards. The clickable slide view is the most important view for these to appear so my dev team builds these right, but that is the view with this problem... please help!In my attached examples you can see a back button icon appear in 2 of the screenshots (link view / grid view), but not in the slide view

Hello I made a soundboard for a school project and the sounds work great on my pc, but when I preview on my iPhone it does not play any sound when pressed

I just shared my prototype, and in the shared linke the arrows control is completely messed up, but within XD, both in design and prototype, it looks fine. What's happening? Tried refreshing.. all that cookies, and remaking the project...  

When I create a cloud document and have not shared it, I can close/reopen the document and not lose my cloud connection with the document. Everything looks/works fine; document syncs to my cloud files, etc. When I invite a user to the cloud document, the invited user said they see a "disconnected" message; similarly, if I close/reopen the cloud document, I am also seeing the disconnected message. More specifically, I believe the file is disconnected from the cloud saving/sharing, message reads "Disconnected  We'll save your work to your device until XD reconnects." and see a "x" cloud icon at the top by file name. I also have the BETA Coediting feature turned on. Because of the disconnection with the cloud document, we're unable to use the coediting feature at all, since we can only save to our own devices.. the file is not updating in the cloud files window either.

Hi, I have been having trouble saving Adobe XD files shared with me by another user via the cloud. Most times when I try to save the file over the cloud, the status gets stuck on 'Saving...' There are instances when the file status changes to 'Saved' but not all changes reflect on the cloud file owner's system after accepting remote changes.  Due to this, I have been saving the changed artboards in a local folder and sharing them via google drive Here is some additional information to help diagnose: 1. I am currently using the Adobe XD Starter Plan on Windows 10 OS2. 3.

Im trying to save my work in creative cloud and its not working. It won't let me click on the creative cloud file. I have been saving it for a while in creative cloud and now its not letting me do it

Hello,  I'm trying to create a design system for a company.I've imported their old components from an XD cloud document they are using at the moment for their projects, I've ungrouped the components and tweaked them a bit and created new updated master components on my XD cloud documment. Now my componets section of the assets panel is full of linked components I no longer use and the only two given options from the right click menu are to either edit master source document which takes me to the company current cloud document with all the components they are currently using on their projects or to highlight on canvas which is trigers a "0 instances of this document found" since I'm no longer using them.I found on this forum a workaround that involves deleting the components from the source file which is my case is simply NOT an option. Can anyone please suggest a way to just get rid of the linked components I'm no longer using that does not involve editing the sourc

Hi, I can't share my prototype by creating a link in Adobe XD. The error message tells me that my storage is full so that it can't create a link for me. But I have checked several times that my cloud storage is empty and I am sure that I have never published anything through Adobe. Adobe xd is crashing for me whenever i open a second xd file , but it works smoothly with the first file no matter how big it is ?please help

I have a weird problem that never happened to me before. The design in the generated link has some differences from the design in xd !! I updated the file many times and tried to generate a new link to check, but the problem still exists. Is there any solution for this problem?? P.S: The app is up to date.

Hi, there are a few things I really don't like with the input fields. It makes working with them much more complicated. If I click into an input field I don't want to select the value. If you are comming from other Adobe products you are used that you can put the cursor wherever you want and start typing right away (e.g. subtracting). In XD you have to click a second time to deselect the actual value. One unecessary click.If I have to undo my last input I have to click somewhere to deselect the input field before I can undo it. Then I have to select it againg. This is different and better in the Adobe products where you can undo right away. Two unecessary clicks.And a bug: If I change the value of an object, hitting return and then adding another value right away the operation doesn't work at all. Workaroung is: changing value and hitting return. Then deselecting object, selecting it again and adding the next operation. This is so complicated.Please make these changes so

My keyboards default language/layout is Latin American spanish because of this I need to type option(alt)+2 to get "@" or option(alt)+3 to get #, But now when i do so the app switches between design, prototype and share mode and not only it's annoying but it also affects how keyboards function with preset key combinations to enter symbols/special characters.                                  {Renamed By MOD}

I checked the forum. I changed the USB mode to MTP and I can see there is an MTP device in the WIN10 device setting window. But, there is no response at all. And I also tried to close all win10 app and android app first, connect the USB, reopen the win10 xd then the android app. Still, nothing happened. Please help.WIN10 19041.508Oneplus 7P, android 10
