If I create multiple components out of, let's say, icons... it would be great to be able to select that component and then right-click to quickly swap out one icon for another one. Would be great for icons, buttons, and other items that have many different variations.   Is there a way to do this and I'm just missing it?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

When I change the file name in XD, update the prototype link, then go look at the prototype, the title of the page is still the same as the original name of the file. This causes a problem as we refine the files and things change. Anyone know how to fix this short of creating new files and new links?

I have two local files:(1) Design system file(2) New blank file In the design system file, I have a bunch of icons that I've turned into components so that I could have different states rather than duplicating the icons (e.g. default is blue, hover is darker blue, alternate state is white, etc.) When I initially copy and paste the icon from the design system (1) to the blank file (2), the component comes over nicely with all of the states. However, as soon as I update the master component in the design system file and then accept the updates in the new file, it updates the default state of the linked component but removes all the other states. 

I think that has something to do with the new version of the Creative Cloud, but this is just my guess. All of a sudden, all my prototypes are being displayed blurry until I go to the full screen mode. This is very annoying and I couldn't find a way to fix it. I am having more and more disappointments with Adobe XD every single day due to the lack of basic features (unlike Sketch), but now I cannot even present any designs to the team without going full screen.Published view:vs Adobe XD view:Please help. Is this true that the link of the prototype in Adobe Xd depends on User instead of File.When another user opens the file he can't update the prototype and he must generate another link.If user is no longer avaialble (leaves the company for example) we lose the links and have to regenerate links? Is there a solution where we can have links based on the files and not users? thanks 

Was working fine before. Is it an issue with Catalina? The only difference between today and yesterday is that I upgraded the OS. Really need to get this resolved, client is waiting...

I have a logo component, for example, that is blue. It is nested in a header component. When I put this in my footer compent and change the color to grey it reverts back to blue on every new footer instance. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hello, in previous versions you could have component inside another component (dropdown) group it and use interaction to go to main component states. Now it ignores group interaction and activates just child component interaction. Same problem with overlaping components, xd activated bottom components interaction not the one on top in layers. So in general all dropdowns stopped working!

How should I create a prototype if I want to have expandable elements in navigation and return to the previous artboard (not previous page in navigation)? After closing the window with the menu expanded (type: overlay), it returns to the collapsed menu (main), not the "previous artboard".   Ps. Sorry for my english. Hi there, This has happened a few times. I'm unsure what triggers it. I'm on an HP laptop with Xd running on my 2nd monitor. So far, everything's been working fine. I was moving artboards around and copy-pasted an artboard from one file to another. When I selected a layer to apply a different color, my cursor highlight was so far below where my cursor actually was there was no way for me to select the color! ("Xd highlighting bug 1")  I just tried typing something into the asset search and it got much closer, but was still maybe 50-60 px "down" from my mouse... ("Xd highlighting bug 2")  Closing and re-opening the file fixed it, but thought you'd like to know it's happening. 😃 How else could I help? Thanks!Jason

I work with a team. I have trouble tracking which designs have been changed and which have not. so I really want the feature to track which artboard has the design changed. there is a log history for that seems like fun to me and the team. hopefully next month I get that feature

Always fails when upgrading xd (version 30) on my win10 with error 191. According to the guidance of the official website, the operation is invalid, upgrade win10 and vc++ to the latest version can not continue to upgrade xd, is very helpless. I also encountered this problem in my laptop, and finally I reinstalled the cc program and xd by resetting win10. In addition, the function of dragging and dropping pictures into the drawing board is not available, and the previous function of copying and pasting pictures into xd in windows Manager is also invalid.

I want to make an animated circular progress bar with a gradient in adobe XD (in order to animate the progress bar it has to be in segmented strokes). I know there isn't an option to add gradients to strokes in XD, but any suggestions for workarounds using other Adobe programs would be much appreciated!  P.S. Adobe, please add gradient strokes to XD already!

I need to turn off the "responsive resize" toggle button permanently,  until next time I use it. How do we do that, for me it is disturbing whenever I scale because it is not resizing perfectly on SVG icons.  Appreciate your response. 

 So, we are currently 4 persons in our organization having the same problem. Two on mac, two on pc.We are working on different files, co-editing not activated on any of these and different internet connections. When trying to share the document creating the development link, it gets stuck on 0%, we have left the program run for a night, to see if it could get over it given the right time, without avail.After a lot of testing around these files, we found out that the main problem blocking the upload where certain components. When deleting those, it would start uploading without a problem. The issue with this is that we have files with hundreds of components. And checking wich ones works or not for the upload is very, very time-consuming. I've uploaded the video so you can see what's happening there. Also, in the end, you can see that I have a really good internet connection, so that's not the problem.This also happens even if all the artboards are selected to export. As X

I created a new component from an instance (original component was large button, I used this to create small button with the same shape and alignment). I changed properties for hoover state for the new component, however when I run prototype - hoover state of the previous component (large button) shows on new component (small button). How to resolve this? I don't believe I should create a new component from scratch.

Hello, I am trying to create a slider using the drag trigger and auto animate feature in Adobe Xd CC. I was able to successfully create an automated drag function with an object– going one direction. However, I also want the same object to be able to go in the opposite direction as well. Ex. I could swipe an object (box 1) towards the left of the artboard (box 2) from the main artboard but if I let go of the object and try to drag to the previous object (swiping towards the right, vice versa). I'm unable to swipe the opposite direction (going backward) doing the same. If I drag an object and not let go of the object, it would work just fine. Can anyone help with this or Adobe make it functional to where this could be possible? -Thanks

Follwoing latest update (v30.2.12) the Layers sidebar keeps freezing when trying to reorder layers. If I closethe app and repopen, I can reorder one layer and then it crashes at the secind attempt. Consistent. 1st attempt works, 2nd crashes.It used to happen before every once in a while but following latest update it happens every time.

Exporting all artboards as PDF, not correct order. tried different methods like rename artboard and organize artboard panel ...but nothing happened! What kind of experience is this in the Experience design tool like XD? Almost Gave me a Heart attack when I was close to the deadline. I am using a MAC. And another issue is images are not rendering correctly ( Blur ) in PDF version.  Please fix this  

On any YouTube video, when you change the main component through the button "Edit Master Component", the rule applies to all components. It doesn’t work for me
