Since AE 2025 came along, I keep getting this error message during startup on my Mac: After EffectsAfter Effects warning: The following plugins have failed to load. Please reinstall these plugins:/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/Plug-ins/7.0/MediaCore/ NeuralEnhancementSuite.plugin I don't know if I need that plugin, or how to make the error message go away. Is that easy to do?  

Hi, Any help is welcome on making my decimal work in the increase. I have a text (number) with slider control so it is animated to go from 1.0 to 10.0.I have used the round expression with 1 decimal.expression used: Math.round(effect("Slider Control")("Slider")).toFixed(1) Problem is: it shows the decimal structure but the decimal is only showing 0 (zero), not animating. wanted:1.11.21.3etc.2.02.1 currently1.02.0

I have a 4 minute clip from a helicopter going over Turnback Canyon on the Alsek River in the Yukon. It has some bad reflections of stuff that was on the dashboard of the helicopter. I am looking for someone to fix the video, which I assume After Effects would be the right tool. If you do After Effects consulting, let me know. Here is a screenshot that shows the basic issue 

I have 2 images 1920x1080. They are hand drawn art. I want to create a 5 second morph between the two images.  In my efforts so far Luma seems to complete reinterpret my drawings and do its own thing, instead of giving my the pixel-by-pixel standard morph I'd like to achieve (faces turn into human faces and start doing things I don't want them to do).  Party of my goal is to do abstract morphing, but most of the AI tools out there try to turn your artwork into more photorealistic movie-like motion. Are there any morph tools that work well as an image tweener like traditional morphing (but ideally take advantage of AI to make smart decisions)? I am told RE: Flex is a good solution - but I think $595 is out of my budget. This is for a project, so I plan to do this quite a bit, but I can't spend that much. I know there are traditional Morph tools (like Fanta Morph) but the tedious method of placing pins for what will ultimately result in well-positioned fades doesn't appeal to m

I have applied a blur effect to a top layer of animation, a rain effect, and the effect is being applied to every layer below it. This happens with any effect. When I have applied effects to layers in the past, it has only affected that layer. What is happening? Thank you for the help!

I have found an issue that is driving me crazy when rendering any video in After Effects.I am not sure if it is related to the last version of After Effects (I am using CC 2018), the last version of my Mac Book Pro, which is High Sierra, or both together. The truth is that is has never happened to me before.When I render a video, no matter which format I choose it renders the video with washed out colours, or as if something had happened with the saturation of the picture.This is the original illustration inside After Effects :This is the results when I open the video on QuickTime (or importing the video to Photoshop in order to get the frames apart):Note: thumbnails of Illustrator look the same on my desktop (washed out) + If I open the video in VLC colours are displayed correctly.There must be something wrong with either CC or Mac.If someone knows how to solve it, please let me know, I need to deliver a few projects and I haven't managed to find a solution,Thanks,

Aeroplane is not blur when it hit the last frame otherwise it is blur. What is reason for that? video is attached  

I’m interested in developing C++ plugins for After Effects, but I’ve noticed that the recent SDKs no longer include the required .lib files for plugin development. I’ve read that older SDKs (such as the 2019 version) did include these libraries. Is there any official way to download older After Effects SDKs, like the 2019 version, or to access the .lib files that were included with them?

Hi, I'm working on an animation project and I'm stuck on a specific scene. I have a longhorn beetle model with separate elements (elytra, abdomen, antennae, body, legs, etc.). I want to animate the beetle lifting off from a tree and flying away, but I'm unsure how to animate the flapping wings, (+pulsing abdomen) in sync with the beetle's flight. Is there a way to anchor or link these individual elements together, so they can continue their respective animation sequences while the beetle flies away?  here is a link to the animation so far so if it helps to visualize: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DLk-x01xpz5/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link 

I am trying to use AE SDK to set the text style of the text in text layer, but I cannot find the relevant API; AEGP_SetText looks similar, but I'm not sure how to use it and there's no relevant description in the documentation

Running AE 17.5.0 Build 40 on an ASUS StudioBook Laptop with xeon 6 core processor and mobile gtx 2080. The project is a large after effects file, 173mb, as it is being used for 11 simultaneous how-to videos with very minimal motion graphics, ipad screen captures, and C100 video footage shot in AVCHD.  The project is a complex, carry-over project updating videos from years ago or I would start a new, smaller project file. The issue I am having is that sometimes, when I press spacebar, the composition plays but the playhead doesn't move to the new position when I stop it.  Also when this happens, there is no red-line-time-indicator that moves across the composition.  When this happens, I am forced to restart the project to get my current location indicator back.  The playheard seems to scrub accross the composition just fine, but this is a pretty serious hinderance to my workflow, constantly restarting the software. Also, saving is very slow.  Ple

How to change Aspect Ratio without resizing the comp?I sometimes work with 4:3 or 32:9 videowalls but the file must be FHD 1920x1080.I can't enter the correct ratio. I always have to import a picture created in Photoshop with that size and aspect so that after effects create a correct composition.I tried making a template with that comp but it only works for the session, if you exit AE and come next day, the preset creates a comp with the correct size but the ratio will be wrong .Is there anyway to create an aspect ratio template to add to the ones at the drop down list? Thank youAntonio

Hello, I am new on here, until now I have had very little issues. I have this warning coming up when I open some of my After Effects template projects. These are downloaded Entato projects etc. I have used them many times and even the same ones I have used over and over are doing this now.  First is says - After Effects warning: Error with fileThen it says - After Effects warning: The file format module could not parse the file (45::36) When this happens it looks like files are missing and the colours are all messed up. Florecent and super bright.  I don't think its a currupted file due to using the same template many times with no issues.  Any ideas?  I am on a brand new 2020 iMac Pro with tons of ram. No issues with anything else or any other programs. 

Hello, I am the creator of VoluMax 6 for AE (sold on Videohive).I am having a lot of customers on Mac Os contacting for this problem :After Effects error: the file format module could not parse the file ( 45 :: 36)I have almost 20K customers for this template and this issue is becoming a major problem for me and the thousand of other authors on Videohive having similar mails from their customers.I updated the template already by re-saving all the Jpegs with Photoshop updated but this didn't work.I am going to try to replace manually each JPEG, MOV and PNG in the project panel to see if it works... Apparently if you do it on a computer that has the bug it corrects the bug but my PC doesn't have the same issue son not sure this will do the trick.Please Adobe : investigate on this error because it is going to become a major issue for AE.

Since one month now I have a pixelated preview problem. I went over the forum and didn't find a solution to my specific problem.I updated After Effets CC to 15.0.0 and also updated my graphic card to the latest released driver. The problem is still there, I don't know how to fix it and I'm now seeking for advice from the community.Asus X550L, Windows10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-4500U 2.40GHz, 8.00GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M, SSD    - The fast preview is set to ''off (Final Quality)''- The RAM preview resolution set to ''Full''- I'm working with the magnification ratio set to 100%- The assets are all made with shapes layer directly in after effects.- The scene is not pixelated until I start previewing the animation. Although I can scroll manually in the timeline once all frame are cached and it follow accurately the chosen RAM preview resolution.*I've notice when previewing that the pixelated render problem is equivalent to the ''Quarter'' RAM preview resolution.  Everytime I open After Effects and then click to open a project, this pops up. It never did this before. Everytime now. It's gotta be a bug.

Help wanted! Searching for programs/apps that can colorize black and white videos. Got a lot of short videos from the WW II-era that I want to colorize. Adobes helprobot claims (I got the Adobe CS) that Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop can do it, but I´ve only managed to colorize stills in PS (which I do a lot, se attached pic), and I dont get any links how to do it in either PP, AE or PS.   Anyone got any idea or description how to colorize? PS  I´ve tried the apps  "AnyMP4 Mac video con" and "AVCLabs Vi..." but they just makes the image more "brownish". Hi All i am struggliging to keep tme still image from jittering the(the bobbing upand down movement) i have tried wrap stablising but i didnt work.any help would be much appreciated . the of after effects i am on is 2023. my mac is over 10 years old.

I have been working with after effects for 19 years now and I can not think of a more problematic build than this release. Normally I can work around some level on bugs, or maybe just work on a mac or pc workstation depending on where or what bug i maybe encoutering, but this build doesnt work properly anywhere. Every 5 minutes of working I encounter an error.Ram preview? Black frames, so clear cache. Now there are black frames in other places in the timeline. Reload footage, Now for the next few minutes, maybe just maybe no error frames, but that doesnt last for long before the error frames start appearing again. Basic feature not working.Mask tracked in Mocha AE, usually works fine, but today, on random frames the mask just doesnt add or subtract, its as if its not even there. I can see the outline of the mask covering the object i want to remove. 1st frame works, 2nd frame doesnt, 3rd drame does. Should be an easy work around, delete the problem keyframe and let after effects i

Salut tout le monde ! Je rencontre un problème de décalage audio persistant dans After Effects 2024 sur un iMac avec 32Go de RAM. Mon motion design dure 4 minutes. Symptômes :Le son est décalé dans la timeline pendant la prévisualisation.Même après exportation, l’audio reste désynchronisé (surtout avec effets, précompositions, etc.)Le problème c'est détecté vers la fin et il s’aggrave quand j’ajoute des formes / illustrations / effets.J'ai regarder ma piste audio ( le graphique audio) & je vois vers la fin un trou dans l'audio, je pense que l'audio c'est contracté (il y a des mots, des phrases, qui ce mettent la ou il n'y a pas lieu d'être. Ma piste audio en dehors d'After fonctionne très bien. Ce que j’ai déjà vérifié :Framerate compo : 24 fpsFichier audio : 48kHzMatériel Audio : sortie correcte, tampon testé à 128/256Nettoyage du cache After EffectsJ'ai testé avec nouvelle compositions et audio simpleTest de rendu via Media Encoder (même problème). Merci

My 3D transformation controls have disappeared, even after updating the app and using the show controls command.I think I disabled them by accident.I'm trying to find info on this but the official Help page just says this. https://helpx.adobe.com/after-effects/using/work-in-3D-space.html   However, when I follow these steps, I still do not see the transformation controls (3d transformation gizmo) when I select an object/camera. Searching this issue in this forum only brings up the answer of using Ctrl + Shift + H to show layer controls, which is already enabled and still not showing the gizmo.The help article also mentions these various gizmo states:But toggling between all of these does nothing. The gizmo is still nowhere to be found. So the only way right now I'm able to adjust 3D layers right now is numerically which is extremely frustrating as you can imagine. Has anyone else run into this, and how did you re-enable these little guys? I got to know that you could copy a shape path and paste it on to the position property of a layer to have a motion path same as that of the shape path. I don't quite understand however, how this works? Like even when I scale up the shape layer, it still pastes the original path I made not the scaled up one. On a macro level I can say the shape path is copied and pasted as a motion path, but what is exactly being copied and pasted? As in something like shape path vertex coordinates? Where are they measured from? How during pasting these vertex coordinates get converted to position coordiantes? Essentially i'm looking for what data is copied and from which reference? And then during pasting what data is pasted and from what reference, to finally get that shape path to motion path conversion.Thanks!
