Hi, I installed Adobe After Effects 2025 and also installed all the Cinema 4D related programs, but I still get the warning message that says "Cinema 4D 2025 must be installed in order to use the Cinema 4D renderer." How can I fix this issue?

After a few strokes using the Roto Brush tool, I get the 'AfterFX.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close' message. The clip I am trying to Rotoscope is ~12 seconds in duration, Quicktime (.MOV), and 3.6 GB. Bonjour,Lorsque je fais un "rassembler les fichiers" d'un projet. Le projet en question se ferme...et se réouvre au même endroit.Y aurait-il moyen de faire en sorte que ce soit le projet rassemblé (dossier de destination) qui s'ouvre et non le même projet (dossier d'origine) ?Merci d'avance!

I feel like something changed - in the past, if Layer A had 2 keyframes scaling from 100% down to 0 , then I added Layer B (which is defaulted at 100% scale), placed the playhead AFTER the scaling keyframes (so Layer A is gone, scaled to 0) then I parented B to A, the result would be that B would scale in tandem with A, but since the playhead was positioned after the scaling, if I went back to the first keyfram position Layer B would now start at 200% and scale down to 100 by looking at the keyframes on Layer A. This is no longer working. As soon as I parent Layer B to A, it's immediately absorbing the keyframe info and B disappears. This parenting used to depend on where the playhead was, which I found very useful.  Am I missing something? I feel like this is a new issue for me. As soon as I parent anything to a layer with existing keyframes, it's taking on the current properties regardless of playhead position

Can anyone fix this problem? Why are my colors for the layers all of the sudden dull? The red box is red but darker and the orange is orange but like a dirty brown. What the heck. I got an message about GPU and my memoery so it may have something to do with that. 

Hello,As of today, I have not been able to open AE cc 2022. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and the problem still occurs. I even uninstalled my 3/9/22 Windows update to see if that would fix the problem. No luck. I have the full Adobe Package and all other apps open fine. I even tried opening AE 2022 on my laptop running Win 10 and it works fine. Not sure what else to try. Any ideas? See the error popup below. Thanks - troy 

Hi, I've been trying to make this textbox responsive but I'm stuck. I am very new to mogrts, the essential graphic panel and expressions.- The text box needs to have the exact same padding for each font size- You need to be able to change the text even if one line of text becomes 2 (and the textbox needs to expand to that new text)- When a new line of text is added the textbox need to go up, because the complete text needs to stay in the bottom left corner- Needs to be outlined to the left. (box and text) I followed a bunch of tutorials on youtube, but none of them really help me with this exact problem so please help me 

What technique is this? Hello, I'm having an issue with the "Camera Rig" script/panel in After Effects 2025. The panel opens correctly, but it doesn't work: The camera doesn't move or focus when using the controls. I have a 3D camera in my composition. I've tried enabling "Allow scripts to write files and access the network" in Preferences → Scripting & Expressions. I've also restarted After Effects and made sure the script is in the correct folder (ScriptUI Panels). I'm not sure if this is an issue with the script, a compatibility issue with After Effects 2025, or if I'm missing a step to get it working. Could someone please guide me on how to properly configure it to control the camera? The company I work for was sold. I received a new CC license from my new company and installed Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Audition, and Premier. All the apps work except After Effects, nothing happens if you try to start Ae from CC. You get an Application error if I try to start it from Start. I will attach the error. My IT support people are telling me they can't help me as this a security issue between Adobe and Google Chrome. I am really stuck. Does anyone know anything about this and how I can get it fixed.

Motion blur is toggled on a layer as well as 3d. These layers are connected through a null & a camera layer, I even tried it with a layer without the camera and still no luck. I have it on classic 3d render and have motion blur toggled in the main bar.

I shot with Panasonic Vlog and when I import the video it appears to have a lut applied before I apply the VLog_to_V709_forV35_ver100.cube Lut. It appears to add a lut on import and when I apply the correct lut the video displays over-exposed video. I created a new Premiere Pro project, imported the same file, and applied the LUT, which worked as expected. I then sent the sequence to After Effects via dynamic link and the result was over-exposed video as before. Is there any solution to my problem? After my updated M4 machine with updated AE apps and MH . The play back is slow in intial time and after cache , its work fine . Intial time its working very slow and memory is not up to mark ( machine has 32 GB ) . Please suggest any log file needed . Now working with adaptive resolution and quarter .

I am looking to make a stopwatch timer in AfterEffects with the Slide Control. I want to display minutes, seconds, and milliseconds (00:00:00). Guides are nice, but could be improved to help more with precision. Would be nice if when you dragged a guide out from the rulers, then click on the guide, a text pop up box comes up so you can enter in the precise pixels you want the guide to be. Or maybe right click on the vertial or horizontal rulers to add a precise guide.

After Effects can't be hidden on OSX during rendering, especially on my second monitor. During render sessions i can't get to any window in other apps on my 2nd. screen.Also with the program switcher (cmd + Tab) most of the time it switches only one monitor.Would be extremely cool if this could be fixed.bestChristof

Doing several animations with mutiple characters layered in a main comp. Each character is in its own individual comp. I have a viewer open for the main comp and each of the individual character's comps. When I adjust the playhead in the main comp the preview time for each sub comp updates to the new playhead time. When I am working in a character's sub comp and adjust the playhead the time preivew for that character's comp updates and the time preview for the main comp updates to the new time BUT the other character's comp time preview does not update! How do you make the playhead position or preview time sync across all sub comps? It is really important to be able to adjust one character in relation to another and see how they are reading together in the main comp.  I have have the Synchronize Time of All Related Items preference checked but that is not working for the subcomps. Is this a new problem? I don't remember this being a issue in years past. &n

Hi Forum. I have an object in my AE canvas, which is 200pix x 200 pixs, And I need to export it as a PNG file. Is there a command like in photoshop which once you delete the background and see all the transparent pixesl, you go to the menu, Image> Trim. And makes a perfect trim around your selection? Thank you.

when i zoom in and out on my timeline it occasionally moves all of my layers and makes them appear off beat, if i zoom in and out again it moves back? confused

2025년 버전은 다름이름으로 저장할때 최하위버전이 2023버전까지 저장이 되던데 그 밑의 하위버전으로는 따로 저장이 안되나요?
