Hi all, I'm having this weird issue on my Macbook pro M1 Max, since this week my after effects is not loading any script from aescript. It worked perfectly a week ago, but now everytime I tried to load one AE keeps thinking forever. I tried to solve, removing preferences, reinstalling after effects, the scripts, but without no luck any idea how to solve this issue?thanks in advance,

I seem to be having an issue with enabling Draft 3D on the beta. It works fine on the public release but I can't get it to work on the beta. I have the setting enabled per the image attached to enable it but I'm at a lost for what to do. Specs:Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7iMac 2013 27 inch, 32 GB RAM

When multi-frame rendering is performed, stop in the middle at the m1 max chip.Also, GPU usage is too low.My GPU is 36 cores.But it's less than 20%.I randomized the 4K 60fps video.

I use multiple screens, but this also happened on a single screen setup. When I pass my Logitech M705 wireless mouse over the composition panel when moving from one panel to another, automatically zooms in to the highest number if I move to the left and zooms out to the smallest percentage if I'm moving right. I am not touching the scrolling wheel or buttons -- I've been very cognizant of the possibility of a spurious mouse command. If I pass the mouse below or above the composition panel, it does not zoom, only if the mouse pointer moves across the panel.

Steps to reproduce:    1. Trying to use a script that uses 'write to network feature' in preferecnes. 2. Preview and export impossible with the multi frame rendering enabled.System info :    Application: After Effects (Beta) v22.2.0.25    OS: macOS v12.0.1, RAM: 32,00 Go GB, CPUs (logical): 10     MacBook Pro 2021 w/ M1 MAX

When split sequence is cut and later prtion is shifted time-wise, the later portion restores the cut area. I could not remove the cut area at all. It did not happen without Lumentri effect I presume.I am no sure if this problem is specific to the beta version. (No time to duplicate the problematic issue.)

All builds up until this point have been very usable but this morning after the latest update my AE is crashing constantly when scrubbing through an existing project. The same project caused no issues yesterday.

I updated the AE Beta to try out the new viewport option and in the process noticed that I no longer have the ability to enable Draft 3D. The button is greyed out and I'm not sure why it's doing that. System specs2013 iMacMac OS Catalina 10.15.7 

In order for Element 3D and Form to take advantage of the new Extended View feature, they have to be applied to a solid that's larger than the comp dimensions.  As seen in this attached image.

In addition to improving shutdown speed, the Fast-Exit feature is intended to reduce the incidence of process hangs and deadlocks.   Please give it a try. Your system has run our of Application Memory – AE BETAI switched over the the latest Beta AE 22.1.1 (Build 68) and am still getting this issue I had using AE 2022 on 64GB M1 MAX. I'm having to purge memory constantly which is really a disruptive workflow. Definitly my biggest pain point. My previous 2018 intel Mac seemed to mangage the memory in the background and I never confronted this issue.Other users are seeing this same issue:https://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/after-effects-22-0-1-causing-memory-leaks-o...Any feedback in regards to this issue is greatly apprciated!

When applying Smoother to the position property on a 60fps/6 minute layer, with a keyframe on every frame (created with convert expression to keyframes)  the system hangs (After Effects not responding). Steps to reproduce:    1. ...use wiggle expression on position property for a layer.2. convert expression to keyframes3. apply Smoother to position property Result: ...crash (Adobe Effects Not responding, spinning beachball)Expected: ...Smoother to work System info    Application: After Effects (Beta) v22.1.1.68    OS: macOS v12.0.1, RAM: 32,00 GB GB, CPUs (logical): 10

In AE 22.1.1x68, the Project Panel's thumbnail is always just black (or purely transparent if Thumbnail Transparency Grid is on) regardless of whatever comp, solid, .ai file, .mp4 file is selected. Composition > Set Poster Time does nothing.

Another playback issue with 22.1.1x62:Whenever I preview a comp with audio, the audio meters do absolutely nothing. The audio plays ok (well, it always goes very out of sync with the picture) whether I do a spacebar or Numpad . (audio only) playback - but no audio meters. However, if I ctrl-drag the CTI, to do an audio scrub, the meters display the levels normally.So whatever playback bug was around a few releases ago is back with a vengeance.

Still running Mojave on my home computer.  The creative cloud app says that v22.0 is compatible, and v22.1 is not, however when I updated to the latest build of v22.0 the app says it requires mac os 10.15.  I had to roll back to an older build of v22.0 (from July) using Time machine.  Can we please keep the v22.0 branch Mojave compatible, or provide a link to the latest version that is Mojave compatible?

The current beta build of AE does not display anything in the comp viewer - just blackness, no transparency grid, no layers, no ruler lines, no title/action safe lines, nothing - no matter if I load up an existing project or create a new project/new comp, even if the new comp has a bright background colour. It makes no difference if I'm using CUDA or software mode. I shall update my Nvidia drivers (I updated them about 2 weeks ago) from 496.49 to 496.76 and report back. I'm on Windows 10, AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, Nvidia RTX3090 24GB GPU, 128GB RAM UPDATE: I updated my Nvidia drivers to today's version, restarted, and AE is still as dead as a doornail. Back to good old, reliable version 2021!Incidentally, each time I quit the beta versions of AE or PPro, I always get that "do you want to send an error report?" message.

I'm running AE Beta on M1 Max on an external monitor but the issues appear on the Macbook display.I was working on a project earlier today with no issues, and then updated to build 54. That's when I no longer could see anything being previewed. It's just gray or flashing black. I saw that there was another update (build 56) and I updated, still having issues. I restarted my computer, reverted back and forth with the build versions but nothing works. The non-beta version still works with no issues.
