Hello, I'm new to Adobe Animate and have spent the past two nights setting up my workspace and keybinds so they work similarly to my set-up in prior software. Recently I've begun messing with the brush tools and specifically with the Classic Brush Tool; typically I really enjoy using a skinny slanted brush so I can apply both slim and broad strokes upon adjusting my pen tilt, but what I'm finding is the tilt sensativity often turns on a dime and I need it to be bumped down. After checking Animate's documentation it does claim there is a feature for this here, but upon looking in the properties pannel in my own instance of Animate there is no such option.

Hi guys, so I'm new to Adobe Animate 2024 CC The last time I used Adobe Animate was Adobe Flash Professional CS6, and so I've been trying to make a text input component along with a submit button. So, for example, if the correct answer to a question was "53", and you type that into the text input and hit submit, it will check to see if it matches and then do this.gotoAndPlay("frame that tells you you're correct') and if what you answered wasn't 53, it will gotoAndPlay("frame that tells you you're wrong.) However, every time I enter an input into my input box and hit the submit button, it does not respond at all, and it doesn't do anything. So I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me in this situation. After several successful development builds of my iOS app (built with Adobe Animate 24.0 Build 305 + AIR SDK 51.2.2.4), I moved to the distribution stage. The build was rejected by App Review due to crashing.To investigate, I uploaded the app to TestFlight and tested it myself. It immediately crashes on launch. To rule out my project code, I created a minimal build containing only one image (no code), but that also crashes in TestFlight.Development builds run fine on my device when using a development provisioning profile — the issue only occurs with TestFlight / distribution builds.Is there a way to identify the crash reason from Apple’s side? Or does iOS no longer support Animate / AIR SDK builds in distribution?I have crash logs (.ips) available and can share them if needed. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance.Khalid Abbas

Hi, I’ve been trying for years to install and run the latest versions of Adobe Animate, but the last version that actually opens for me is Animate 2020. Any newer version crashes right at startup: it initializes fonts, then gets stuck on “Loading document templates…” before showing Sorry, an error occurred and closing. What’s strange is that every other Adobe app works perfectly on my system, including Premiere Pro and After Effects. I’ve already tried many different fixes but nothing has worked so far. I uploaded the crashreport.

In Adobe animate subselection tool, I am not getting the adjustment handles. Please help. 

I recently got a Mac, and ive had problems i didnt have before using Animate. When i color pick something, it will randomly become more saturated, and when i export my animation it's all desaturated. any tips?  .

I am exporting my video which has many scenes in it.  When I go to play it, it do, all the audio in scenes play at the same time.  So it quickly goes from one scene to the next and you can hear the sound from each scene.  What am I doing wrong?

Hello friends, I need some help. I created an application using ActionScript 3.0, and I want to generate an .apk file. However, I’m unable to publish the apk, and I’m getting this error message as shown in the attached image. I believe I followed the same steps I usually do, but this time something went wrong. Why is this happening?

While creating an application for Android or iOS when I click Advanced ActionScript 3.0 section Animate lags for 1 minute. I have 10+ ANEs added. Everytime I change location of an ANE, it freezes 45+ seconds. Why this menu is so slow?To change ANE locations of a project I have to wait like 30 minutes just to change 15 ANE locations. It is slower than Animate 2023 ...

As shown below, the code can only switch to the brush tool, but the thickness cannot be specified. Looking through the API, thickness only applies to the paintBrush tool and cannot set the brush size. Hello, I am new to Adobe Animate and am trying to teach myself using the Adobe Animate 2023 Classroom in a Book book. I am on the second chapter. When I try to use the group tool I noticed I was able to move one eye of this creature here but when I move the second to the left side of the face it creates a bulge in the eyebrow.  Can anyone tell me why this is and what I am doing wrong? Thank you!  

I encountered a little difficulty, as follows, when I used the camera, the elements that were originally centered on the stage were moved to the outside of the stage.I hope that after using the command to select the element, it can be automatically centered without being affected by the camera.I checked the relevant API. When the camera is not turned on, the command works fine. However, after it is turned on, it cannot be centered. The xy position information of the element is different when the camera is turned on and off.Can you provide some implementation ideas? Or give the relevant code directly, thank you very much!

Hi guys, well Google has changed a lot of things and its been hard submit apps/games for them.First they changed the kind of file, now just .AAB would be accepted. Android App Bundle.As I saw now, its not mandatory anymore. now you can send .APK or .AABbut the problem now its about Certificate and Signed Key. in past its just create a .P12 certificate and upload your app. but if you lost yout certificate you are screwd!Now its a positive thing, cuz the Certificated and Signed Key are generated and hosted by Google. but I have no Idea how to make it! =/Anyone knows how to get this certificate or google signed key and then donwload the .p12 from it. generate the .APK or .AAB and upload?tnx!

i want to make my keyframe longer, and so i press control and drag it extending it longer.... BUT IT DOESNT MAKE WHAT  PLACED IN MY KEYFRAME LONGER. As in  i have a character that i want his eyes shut for one second.. so i place a key frame and with the frame picker change his eyes to be shut then extend it with control/drag to one second long.... but his eyes are not shut for one second... its just shut for as long as the keyframe was before i extended it. BOTH ADOBE CHAT AND ADOBE CALL SUPPORT TOLD ME TO GO HERE and post it in the forum.- THANK YOU

A shot in the dark - MacOS, Animate CC 2024, latest, 2021 Intel Macbook Pro with 32 GB RAM. I click the colour picker on my toolbar, bring up the colour swatches, and then click the field above it with the colour hexcode. As soon as I click on it (to copy, or type a new colour value), Animate pauses, then crashes. Same goes if I use the Color Panel or the Gradient Panel, wherever I go to type in a colour value. It's as if Animate can't handle me typing in colour values. Not sure what's happening. This is a fresh install with reset preferences. I've also set Accessibility Options in MacOS system settings, to no avail. This is very repeatable, as every time I click that little #FFFFFF to manually give a colour value, it crashes Animate.  

Hello, I make graphic compnonats clickable for a web application. I start by creating amovie clip and then adding two layers (p_xx and v_xx). V_xx is then made into an button and in layer 2 i ad trhe script. is there a possibility to copy all the steps i do for one graphic to another without copying the graphic?

The incorrect one uses the Chinese colon "：" (colon), while the English punctuation "":", appears correctly.Although I suspect it's a language issue, the same code displays correctly on Windows but not on a Mac due to language issues. I'm using version 24.0.8 and the Chinese input method, but I still encounter errors with the \n or\r line break on a Mac.I'm not sure if this is a bug or if there's another reason. Does anyone know?

Hii,I created a basic character with line tools then I made it a symbol for later use. but when I break apart the  character in the main stage so that I can animate it with audio, the line width becoming smaller. Please help me what to do as im new to animation. I want to animate the character with audio, also if im animating inside the symbol, then the line will size will remain same but the audio will not export. please tell me what to do, how should I animate with audio/ line tool, what is the right process to do.

Millions of .fla files from the Flash era are sitting on hard drives, and Animate CC often can’t open them. Especially CS3/CS4/CS5 projects. Adobe could make money by adding:Better backward compatibility for older .fla filesA batch convert tool so we can update whole folders at once Many of us would subscribe to Animate just to rescue and republish our old work. Modern browsers can now safely run legacy SWF content without plugins, which shows there’s interest in bringing this material back. This is the perfect time for Adobe to make Animate the go-to tool for unlocking and reviving old projects. Adobe could make a fortune if Animate just opened old Flash files. I’d subscribe tomorrow just to rescue my projects.

일러스트도 포토샵도 컨트롤+스페이스바+드래그로 확대 축소 조절했는데애니메이트에도 똑같이 단축키 설정할 수 있을까요? 지금 컨트롤+스페이스바+마우스 스크롤로 확대 축소 조절하고 있는데펜으로 그림을 그리다가 마우스로 조절하니 너무 불편합니다 일러스트도 포토샵도 컨트롤+스페이스바+드래그로 확대 축소가 가능하니애니메이트에서도 가능할 것 같은데컨트롤과 스페이스바는 단축키 설정에서는 설정 안되더라고요,,, 설정하는 방법 아시는 분 알려주세요ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

Trying to animate a loop of a moving pattern that gradually speeds up, it has one from at the start and 2 frames at the end, ! being the end position and 1 being the restart position. But as I applied an ease that does that, it seemed to add a minor gap between the two frames together where the pattern moves in reverse in a few frames, how do I make in instant instead while speeding up? 

Hi sorry if this question has been asked before but when i wanted to do a new project in flash cs6 i drew a line and it just went green and i thought i had the colour on my pencil tool green so i made it black, drew the line again and it did the same thing again so i used the paint brush to see if it did the same thing and it did heres a picture to better explan my self if you can see it the screen is ment to be grey but that isnt working either can any one help? 

I can hear it if I test the movie and I can hear it by testing in its sound properties but I can't hear anything when I'm scrubbing or playing from the timeline. It's an ActionScript 3, latest Animate version (24.0,10), The sync is set to "stream", the "Mute Sounds" option in the Control dropdown is disabled. I have no Idea what's going on and I have been driving myself crazy for the last 2 hours at this point, I'm stuck, please help. 

Hello, I have a big problem, when exporting a file video, after the encoder had done his djob, while opening the new mp4 file, i have no sound at all. I'm on the trial version, is it because of that?
