Hello, I'm new to AS3 and I'm trying to do a right click button but I can't do it.  I'm trying to create a maze but since we need a drag and drop button and resize button, we decided to make it look like a puzzle and they will drag the puzzle all together. However, I don't know how I will make the resize button because we have 8 objects. Is it possible to put in one button only? or no? I made an exit button in adobe animate as 3 for publish android. I cant seem to edit the frame

Basically the title. I press my pen down to the tablet, begin my stroke, but nothing appears on screen. No brush stroke goes through until a few more tries. As you can tell, that's quite the massive hindrance. I don't know if it's adobe or my Gaomon tablet, because in Ibis Paint X the strokes always go through without fail, and in Adobe Animate my mouse has no issues making brush strokes. So I'm... not sure what the issue is. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I've made a simple animation of a logo that fades to white and rotates. Everything is fine in the App, but the rendered movie has a weird hickup / jump. Very hard to know how to fix a problem when it looks great in the application - bug? Thanks all

Hey there, tried to google it, but I'm not sure what to choose making Google Display Ads:Adobe Animate or Google Web Designer? I do favor Animate, but I do fear not knowing enough code that I need for i.e. mouse events. Or that it is working in Animate but not for Google Ads.  Could I use GWD to get to the javascript codes for events and use it in Animate? Or where do you get the codes from? That's still confusing me. Is there an official list, plug-ins? 😄 Thanks,Julia

im using auto lip sync for animate, and its actually 100 percent not accurate (no exageration). i only have the voice for the audio, with no other backround noises and i did it with a paid adobe animate tutor but it still is 100 percent not accurate and we both dont know whats going on. PLEASE HELP THANK YOU.

 I am using version 2023 i have created a line using the line tool and have changed the origin point using the transform tool but animate automatically switches the origin point back to where it was. the line is not a symbol.Help is needed.

Hi All,I'm working on setting up my first ad to be run in 6Sense. I'm using a dynamic text field to populate a specific company name using URL mapping. Attached is a screenshot of the ad. The yellow copy (company name) is what will change. So it will be company + Premier. I have the text field set to dynaimc but am totally confused to what to do next. Should there be specific placeholder text since it will change and what would I use as the instance name? I'm totally confused on what all I need to do in animate and if there is any code I need to add in the actions panel. I've made an animated ad in Adobe Animate, and I'm trying to publish and pass it between devices to see it rendered on mobile and desktop. I want to troubleshoot and mimic what it'd be like to send previews to a client so they can view the ads in their browsers and on their phones—does anyone know if an html5 animation is able to be viewed without having to upload it to a server or ftp?I have the .js, .index.html and images folder all zipped, and when I unzip it and open the index.html between 2 computers I'm able to see the animation. But when I try to test the same thing on my phone, index.html is rendering as a blank page on 2 different browsers.Any ideas or insight would be really appreciated. Thank you!

Ever since I got the new adobe animate 2024 update the vcam has not been working properly. I mean, it works but it is just not accurate. So for example, if I were to make the vcam the same size as the canvas, the vcam will not display everything in the canvas despite it being the same size.

I've been using animate for a little over a year now and have had relatively no issues. However, recently, whenever I use my wacom intuos tablet to use the brush or paint brush tool, tapping the tablet even once causes the tool to make a line that shoots off to the left where the drawn shapes actually appear. The strange thing is, this only happens with animate and on my second monitor. With a different program, this doesn't happen and using animate on my primary monitor works fine too. I've tried updating my tablet's drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling them, turning the computer off and on again, nothing works. Any help would be really appreciated as I don't like using animate on my smaller primary monitor.

Why doesn't mask work with javascript codes in Animate. I have tried with mask graphic symbol and content movieclip but I have not succeeded. But in zim's scrollbar there content.setMask(mask) works; why not working content.mask = mask;

Hi all! I have a problem with a project I'm working on. On different devices (home desktop and work laptop, both Windows devices, using the same font files from the project's fonts folder), my lineheight is different in Animate, despite the number being 0 in both cases.The font in question is Work Sans. I've tried re-installing the fonts a few times. The folder includes both a variable font file, as well as all the different weights separately. Both options yield the same results. Does anyone know what might be the issue here? If more information is needed, let me know and I'll do my best to provide it!

I've spent all day trying to accomplish a very simple task. I want to make an interactive button, with a particular shape, which, when clicked, displays some text. Could anything be simpler? But at every turn with Animate I'm forced to learn Actionscript. This is like buying a car and being given a book on automotive engineering. Seriously,  is there an alternative to this piece of trash? I mean really, I can hardly believe any human being has the patience to learn this program.

Hi everyone!I wand to make a dashed line in An with square tips (straight lines). But as soon as I make a line Dashed, its corners get rounded, and the adjustment pannel becomes inactive.Who knows how to change that?Thanks!

This isn't so much a question as a request, a PLEA.PLEASE bring back the ability to envelope multiple frames! It was a feature I used constantly and was available up until Adobe Animate CS4. The functionality of using envelope on multiple frames was disabled upon that version, but you could at least cheat a workaround up until at least Adobe Animate 2017. After that, even the workaround no longer worked. Previous to CS4, you could very easily select multiple frames, even multiple layers at once and apply an envelope easily. I have no clue why Adobe would lose the ability to include that. If Macromedia's versions and even Adobe's earlier versions could offer it, I don't see how it was ever a problem in need of removal. I'm asking now because a task that would have literally taken a minute will now take me potentially a couple hours while not looking nearly as good because this feature is no longer available. Please consider including this feature again in future releases.
