Hello, my problem is this: I wanted to extract from my archive the images classified with more than 3 stars. I created a library and then set a filter not to include all folders in the archive. I then set up an export. The problem is that Bridge changed the number of rating stars in the selected images to 5 stars. Do I have to reclassify the entire archive? A big nuisance. Did I do something wrong? Can I recover? Thank you
I created a "test" folder with a single "test.tga". Hit Ctrl+F and set filename>contains> test criteria in this "test" folder.Got "no item to display"It finds nothing .What have I done wrong? I have this weird issue very regularly for years alredy and on different computers. Never figured out what's wrong. Could somebody help please. It's basically a single purpose I use Bridge for. To quickly find pictures. For some uncertain reason it works in many folders just fine but sometimes is not working at all.
I shoot a lot of Arthropods, research to find out what they are and add genus or species to the description. Coming back later to process, I found that a number have (Multiple values) in the description. This normally occurs when more than one image are selected and have different values, but this is happening with single selection. I called Adobe tech for help and he told me it is because there is no description, never was. I said no, then it would be blank. I really got nowhere, as he attributed the problem to me and not to Bridge, saying there never was data there. I then showed him a page where I had extracted the metadata of over a thousand recent shots and correlating the number showed the metadata, INCLUDING THE DESCRIPTION, that had been there. So finally he admitted he was clueless and said he would take it to a higher level to developers. Meanwhile, after all the time I spent to get the right names, I either have to research again, as
Please switch out the integerized scrolling in Bridge, which only lets you scroll in disjointed whole-photo jerks, for the smooth scrolling every other app allows. It's actually hard to understand the scrolling that's happening when I scroll in Bridge because of this integerized, jerky scroling that Bridge enforces. It would be much easier on the user if the scrolling was smooth just like all other scrolling experiences (at least in MacOS and Photoshop)
What happened to being able to click on the images name, and then clicking on it again for it to highlight and be able to be renamed? Is this a glitch? Is there a keyboard shortcut that could be used instead?
Buenas taredes. ADOBE BRIDGE 2023 - VELOCIDAD LECTURA DE CARPTEAS IMAGENES LENTO comparado con versión 2022 y 2021. Gracias,
I frequently use Bridge to edit the meta data stored in an image file. Most of the time it seems to work as expected, but occassionally the text Copy operation fails to put the selected characters on the clipboard (or where ever Bridge stores copied text.) Then when I do a paste to a different field in the meta data I get text that is not what I had just copied. I'm using ctrl C and ctrl V to copy and paste. I'm generally editing the meta data on .jpg files I'm getting ready to send to someone when this happens. My Bridge version is 13.0.3.693 and I'm running on Windows 10 with all updates installed. The only way to clear the "lock up" is to close then restart Bridge. This behavior has been observed for more than a year.
When I use bridge, it randomly opens files when I select them.I am on PC, and have all mouse settings on normal. This problem only happens in bridge and is destroying my workflow. Is there anywhere in adobe products to stop this.Set a longer time, so selected files don’t open?
There is a new issue with Bridge 2023. I cannot continue working while moving files in Bridge, as the Moving Files window prevents me from being able to do anything else in bridge while the move operation is in progress. If this is an hour long moving process...this is a big problem. Please fix this. Video attached.
Images in Bridge Beta 13.0.4.741 are inconsistent with Adobe Camera Raw. See attached screenshot. Highly saturated colors appear out of gamut in Bridge (on right) but are properly saturated in ACR (on left). The result of which is I go back to edit images because the colors are poor, only to find that they are OK in ACR.This always wasn't the case with previous versions of Bridge.
Just get it off or make it an option on the visuals. Incredible disruptive. [abuse removed by moderator]
There is an issue with Bridge 2023 that didn't exist with Bridge 2022. To replicate: 1) Filter images by "no keywords"2) Apply keywords to more images than fit within the Content window3) Note that Preview and Content window doesn't "snap to" the currently selected image. Bridge 2022 would do this fine. Bridge 2023 does not. I've attached a video for Bridge 2022 (how it *should* behave) and video showing the problem with 2023. Note that the Content window doesn't "focus" on the image that's selected.
I cant get the find function in Bridge2022 (ver 12.0.1.246) to work. The pull down menues are locked so building criteria for searching is not available. My computer runs Windows 11 (pro) with 32 GB ram. I was in contact with Adobe agent and he opened a remote session but he could not find anything./Bertil
Just started with Bridge (v 13.03.693 with win10). Some learning curve but I enjoy the fast file handling. It seems though that I have to activate in "view" "show hidden files" to all see headers to metadata as shown from screenshots. It is annoying too see the xml-file for every picture in the file folder. Info about lens type, focal length, camera model and so forth are independent from XML-sidecar files, right? Are there any solutions?Greetings!Mikael
HiI am using the latest version of Adboe Illustrator and Bridge.I am trying to find out how to make the preview thumbnail bigger so I can view it (not zoom in)Attached is a screenshot of what I am trying to achieve. The old 2018 version did this very nicely, but my recent updgrade has been making me pull my thinning hair out. Any adeas?Nick
Hallo, meine Fotos lassen sich im Fotodownloader nicht in das Format DNG konvertieren. Das DNG-Kästchen ist nicht anwählbar und grau hinterlegt. Vielleicht kennt jemand die Lösung. Vielen Dank.
Recently added subfolders aren't reflected in Bridge Beta until the parent folder is selected. This can be a problem when going back and forth between folders with a large number of images that have to "repopulate" when navigating. Attached is a video of the behavior. To recreate:1) Open Bridge2) Create a subfolder inside a folder that currently doesn't have a subfolder3) Note that there isn't an arrow to "expand" the parent folder, as the subfolder is not "detected"4) Select the parent folder.5) Note how an arrow appears once the folder is selected.
I open the folder and it says Generating Previews. But it takes several minutes and sometimes doesnt even complete if I leave the program to check it later - I have to keep moving the screen to prove to Bridge I really want to see my images. Even when I am accessing a fast SSD. It happens in folders with thousands of images in RAW (I mean 40Gb in a folder). Am I not supposed to have a folder with thousands of images? Or it is just about Bridge or computer's settings?
I just updated to a fresh clean install of Windows 11 and installed the latest Adobe CC apps. The OS is set to Dark. Bridge and all Adobe apps are set to Dark. For some reason Bridge maintains a white title bar (see attached screen capture) and it's super distracting and not working as it should. Note that this is the only app and only window that behaves like this. Every other application window and explorer window is dark as it should be. Anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone have a fix for this? Note that the white title bar is persistent regardless of whether Bridge is active or inactive.
Is there any way to force Bridge to display the first frame of video clips in their thumbnails and in the preview window prior to playing the clip? I have a slate up in the very first frame of every clip, and it stays there for the first 2-3 seconds. However, Bridge always chooses to pick a frame later in the clip to display as the thumbnail and static frame in the preview window when you select a clip. So, I have to play each clip to see the slate information. I'd really like Bridge to just show the first frame of the clip, always. I don't see any way to adjust what Bridge does in these cases.
HiWhen I have .docx or .doc files in Adobe Bridge, they always open in WordPad instead of LibreOffice. I can't find the file type in the presets at all. So I can't change the assignment. Any ideas?Kind Regards, Oliver
This was a simple task with previous versions of Bridge but I cannot seem to do it with the current version. Thank you
My workflow has always been Bridge > Tag and sort > Quick edits in Camera Raw > Open as batches in Photoshop. For some reason when I click open, or any of the other open options (as a copy, as an object) nothing happens. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and reset Camera Raw settings and ensured that the file association for my raw files is set to Photoshop. Has anyone else experienced this? Other notes: I'm on a pc, running Windows 11. All my Adobe programs are updated to the latest version as of 7/4/23.
Hi Please add this feature to the future version of Bridge: Double-click to fill the screen size with Windows taskbar and menus of Bridge are reachable and double-lick on images to go back to images folder.
