I have a decision slide with two buttons (See It & Try It).  Each button advances the user to specific slides within the training, however after the user hears the initial audio and clicks the first button, (See it), when they come back to the decision slide I can't figure out how to pause the slide audio and play the second audio (instructing the user to click the Try it button).  I am thinking it's an advanced action however I can't figure out how to set up the advanced action; at the slide level or the button level and how to set up the conditions of the advanced action.Any help is appreciated.

Can someone please urgently give a solution to the ” dmgName is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the trash.” – error. Works fine on my mac but whenever I download the same dmg from google drive I get this error. please help.

Hi,I've never used Captivate before, but we have a course in our LMS that was made in Captivate that isn't marking users as completing the course after they complete it.  We are using Captivate 5.5.  I went in to change the reporting properties and saw that it was set to mark as complete after 95 slides were viewed, so I figured that was the issue since the project was only 40 slides.  I changed it to mark complete after 1 slide was viewed (for the sake of testing), but it still doesn't mark as complete with that property.    Here is what my reporting properties look like at the moment:Has anyone else had this issue?  Or is there something simple that I am missing?  Thanks!

Hello,I have an issue creating toggle audio button in Master Slide. I know there have been several discussions regarding this in the platform. Also, Lilybiri had created a tutorial on this for Captivate 6.But I couldn't find the solution to my issue yet.I want the audio button with line to appear when the audio is playing, and the audio button without line to appear when the audio is not playing. I have added all these images as a Smart Shape in my master slide. Rest of the buttons are working fine but I am having issue with the audio toggle button.Please find the action that I have used for the audio button without line:Here I want to show the audio png with line or the mute icon. and in else statement I want to hide it. But I am not able to view/find the smart shape for mute button.Please guide me through this.Thanks,Parichaya

Hello. I am looking into Captivate to create e-Learning content that includes interaction. Please help me.I am sorry that I am not good at English. So I have attached a picture to help you understand.I want to know a few things. It's good to use the existing features, and it's okay to create a new one.1. Can I move from slide to slide on 'INDEX' menu?2. Is there a way to show the time(Current playing time / Total time) to connect to the seekbar on each slide?    This is important because students need to know content's time.3. If student clicks on the icon to the left of the volume control, subtitles should be shown on the screen. Also, click the icon again and the subtitles should disappear.    Is there a way to apply this feature?4. Can I mark the page and flip the slide through the buttons?5. Lastly, I know Captivate supports playback, stop, rewind, and volume control, right?Please give me a detailed answer. Thank you for reading it.

Within a learning module I have a slide designed as a timeline with content elements using advanced actions to show/hide to the relevant content, several buttons and navigation elements. See image below of what should be the slide opening content below. This slide content is very slow - blank screen for about 5/6 secs before content appears. Is there a way to add a content loading icon/image to "alert" learners?Thank you

Good Afternoon Everyone,I am on a quest to try and get a range of fonts working across a range of devices and outside our workplaces SOE. For our project we are using various shades of the Roboto font, something which is happily contained in both google fonts and typekit. At the moment we are have a JS injection onto the first page of the project to input the google code for the font. While this is semi-functional, it means that if the user leaves the course and returns later they miss the injection on the subsequent entries and as such the font defaults.As is expected we are wanting to make it so that it doesn't matter if it is the first time or the fifth time entering the course, you will get the same experience regardless. While captivate doesn't allow out of the box for custom header font I have been looking at the potential of typekit.Once I managed to get the typekit version of Roboto active within captivate (deleting the local version of Roboto and syncing the typekit files) I w

Hi, I have a question.In my experience many LMS only register a completed/passed quiz after exiting the module on the last slide.In Scorm 2004 and e.g. Ispringlearn that is the case.Is there any way to have the module send the result after e.g. continuing from the quiz results slide? I cannot find the setting to affect that.The issue is that many learners exit the module through closing the tab which does seem to prevent the LMS from getting the final status/flag. We use CP9. Hey,I have been searching the forums and playing around with Captivate for a couple of days to try and find a solution to my problem, but I'm not coming up with any relevant answers.I am very uninspired by the look of the default Captivate dialog window that pops up when I return to a lesson. It's the one that asks 'Continue from where you stopped last time?'I've seen suggestions as to how to change the captions and the colours, but I can't find a way to just disable it and have the lesson resume from where the user stopped. I've tried turning off self-paced learning but this disables bookmarking all together.I'm using the latest version of Captivate 9.Any help would be appreciate.Thanks,Guy

Why is my learning interaction not centered on the slide? I am using responsive project and the Pyramid interaction is off the slide. How can I center it right on the slide?Thank you.

I have four custom multiple choice quizzes that need to have partial scoring based on getting the correct answer on the first or second try.  For each quiz a correct answer on first try gives 25 points. On second try it gives 15 points.  You can only get one or the other.  The scores are attached to shape buttons that are "Included in Quiz",  added to the total,  and reported to the LMS.  The learner needs to score more than 60 points from all four quizzes to pass. I have the Quiz preferences set to report points and pass or fail on the 60 point threshold.The problem is Captivate will not allow more than 100 points when all scored objects are totaled up.  I can't simply report the points scored.  It suggests reporting the scores as a percentage. Since the total of scored objects is 160, this means that 60 points will be displayed as 37.5%.  The desired outcome would be a display of 60%.It's not crucial that a score be displayed by the LMS.&n

I have a project that must be in fluid boxes, and the project itself is basically a video player.Am I understanding the following correctly?An event video can be in a fluid box, but cannot have closed captioning. And a Multi-Slide Synchronized Video is able to have closed captioning but cannot be placed in a fluid box?I'd like to have a video contained within a fluid box that has closed captioning.Any workaround to this problem?

Hello, New User Issues- My toolbar set up looks wrong and I can't find a Preview button anywhere.  I want to be able to see the view with the icons automatically on a windows computer.  It is nice to be able to click preview, create text boxes and access the library and properties easily.  Can anyone assist?Wanted View: Current View on Windows:

Hi,Our software application displays scorm content via web browsers. A user of our software has created scorm modules via Adobe Captivate 9. When viewed in any browser other than Internet Explorer version 9 - 11, the content appears ok and is fully functional. Strangely, the same exact content (ie, same zip file) that is uploaded to scormcloud.com is fully functional in all browsers including Internet Explorer version 9 - 11.The furthest I got while debugging is discovering there is a different type of JavaScript object for the top.opener property when viewed in IE9 - 11, specifically, a dispHTMLWindow2 object. I think the type of this object causes a different execution path to be followed in IE. I do not know if this is related to the source of the bug or a red herring as I could not get any further in debugging.Is this an issue that you have encountered before? Hello everyone,Would you mind sharing your experience using "Find and Replace" feature for text and content in Captivate 2017 and compare it with Captivate 9? Are there any improvements? Personally, I found this feature functioning very poor in Captivate 9. I would appreciate sharing your experiences in 2017 version.

My quiz questions are transitioning slowly after the correct attempt.  How do I increase the transition speed to more automatic, if possible?For example, after the correct answer, the quiz will not advance to the next question for about 2 or 3 seconds sometimes more...  This has been tested on multiple networks and machines, but it happens consistently so I am pretty positive that it is not a network issue.

Hi Guys,I am creating an elearning module using Captivate and as part of that i have created a 'Who wants to be a millionaire' style set of lifelines.I have 3 variables audience1,  audience2 and audience3I'm looking for some Javascript that will generate 3 numbers that add up to 100 and and them to 3 separate variables. e.g - audience1 = 20, audience2 = 50, audience3 = 30.Has anyone created this style of game before? or can anyone point me in the right direction?Thanks

Hello.  I have an issue with a shape appearing on a slide but it's not on the timeline. How do I delete it when I can't find it on the timeline?I thought that I may have somehow added it to the master by mistake but when I checked the master view it's not appearing there either.  Also when I insert a new blank slide (my entire project is made up of blank slides) the shape automatically appears on that slide.The weird thing is that I have this shape on all of my slides (its a rectangle that I'm using as a border around a videos I've inserted) and on the first few slides it appears just fine. But starting several slides in its suddenly appearing even if it's not on the timeline.I've rebooted Captivate. I've rebooted my computer and it's still appearing on the slides.  Any idea what's going on?Thanks, Marion
