Hi, I’m a teacher and our district uses Adobe Connect while we’re virtual. I really enjoy using the product and the majority of our students use it on their iPads. Is there a way to turn chat sounds on for the iPad? I couldn’t find it and I think it would be a really helpful addition if iPad users got an alert when I text something in the chat and they could be notified to switch back to that chat and see what was typed. Just a thought but if this is already possible I would love to know how. Thanks!
I've just installed the Connect 11 Application and found that the webcam has some problems.If you are on a layout with the webcam and you have it running it's fine if you go to another layout with the webcame panel. If you go to a layout without a webcam panel then back to a layout with the webcam you can not turn the webcam back on because it thinks it is still running.Closing the webcam doesn't fix the problem. It just turned the video icon red with the redcircle and line through it.
Since last week's AC upgrade, my company has been experiencing major issues. Our clients are unable to download the update, unable to get in to the room, and when they do get into the room, we can't help them with audio issues. There is also a bug with this update where we can't get the mics to connect.This is seriously impacting out client experience, so any advice or solutions will be greatly appreciated.
We're enthusiastic about the upgrade to Adobe Connect 11, but the rollout (that's currently underway) has been very difficult for our Connect attendees. In our case, the update to Version 11 isn't scheduled to be completed until later this month. Even so, the process is impacting our meeting attendees*now*. Specifically, all Windows users are prompted to complete a mandatory upgrade to the Windows desktop application, but technical issues prevent a successful update. Our managed Connect instance is presenting users with a link to version 10 of the desktop app, but version 11 is now required to join meetings. This results in an endless loop that end-users cannot easily navigate or resolve. The support team acknowledges this is an issue, but provides no detailed information about when we can expect this to be resolved - only that the engineering team is "working on it" (and has been for some time). I’m having trouble with Adobe Connect. I was trying to join a meeting but it said I needed to upgrade the software to do so. So I hit the upgrade button… and then it stopped working.I can get to the sign in page, but when it tries to connect with a meeting I only get a blank screen.I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled but without any change.Does anyone have any thoughts?
Hello there,I struggle with playing background music in an Adobe Connect meeting without the participants seeing a pod. I was trying to play the audio file from the private moderator section but in that way participants could not hear anything. Is there any solution to this problem or do I have to insert a visible pod in the layout?Kind regards,Lea

Hi. I've recorded an Adobe Connect session. When I go to make offline (in MP4 format), I select the Full HD option and make no changes to the advanced settings. The converted file is only coming out at 15 FPS, not the 30 FPS that is shown in those settings. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Quick feedback appreciated--we are hoping to use this for a work recording in the coming weeks!

We currently are experiencing issues with having to install the desktop version to view presentations/webinars. Our audience are educators who do not have admin rights to install the desktop version to their computers. How can we work around this? We have a webinar this evening and need access for our users.
Hi,We have 5 meeting and 4 virtual classroom licenses.Although there has been no problems with our internet and device lately, we have been experiencing freezing problems in classes.The problem was so great that we had to cancel some lessons and we were in a difficult situation with our customers.We experienced commercial losses.We take offline recording to import videos in mp4 format. However, now the problems are too big there too, it constantly gives errors.We struggle for a long time for an 1 hour recording. We are very tired anymore. I am writing again. The problem is not caused by the internet, the computer, or us because the problem is solved when we move the freezing class to a different class that we open quickly. While one day offline records are taken smoothly, the next day it constantly gives an error.Today, even in some classes, the system expels dozens of students, including teachers.I wonder if anyone has this problem or has an idea.Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello all!After much research and digging through multiple forums and tutorials I have come to the conclusion that private development of custom pods for Flash-based Connect is pretty much non-existent. Or maybe it's just that no one is posting their efforts. I understand why, but this is a current need for me. I used to be pretty decent at Flash and ActionScript, but that was many years ago. I do still, however, have a pretty good grasp of how things work and can eventually figure out how code is implemented after looking at examples of other's code. With COVID-19 causing my organization to almost completely be on telework status, we have been directed to do a lot of training online using Connect. I am having an issue with Adobe Connect playing Storyline 3 HTML 5 output (Connect plays the Storyline Flash output with no issue). I understand that the HTML 5 output from Adobe Captivate and Presenter are compatible with Adobe Connect, but was wondering what might be preventing Connect from playing the Storyline HTML 5.
