How does Adobe Connect determine the number appended to an automatically populated recording name? The app pre-populates the recording name field with the meeting room's name, then appends it with a number. A faculty member says that his keeps populating with a name that is already used (gets this message: "This name is already in use. Please try a different name."), so he has to manually change the number appending his recording name to the next number. So, if he chooses Record Meeting and the pop-up populates "Office Hours_130" he can't just enter a description and click OK, because he'll get the "name already in use" error. He has to actually change the pre-populated name to "Office Hours_131" in order to proceed. Why is Connect populating a number that has already been used (and thus a name that is already in use)? How can we get the app to populate the correct number?
Hi.I need help with the Adobe Connect.When i download the Adobe Connect is fine, but when i start the Adobe Connect it start in another language.I checked my computer region platform and it's in Sweden.I have try redownload it many time and also I try delet adobe flash player to, still dosean't work. Is there a way to select all guests that are uploaded into the guest list for an event? I had a list of 20,000+ guests, (nut users or groups, and wanted to delete the list but saw no option to delete all. There as a 75 max limit on deletions per time. Ended up having to duplicate the event and start over.Thank you!

Since our hosted environment was upgraded to Adobe Connect 9.7 we have been experiencing issues communicating via the API. I searched the whole support-themes but cannot find any solution to my problem nor can I go to the support chat, maybe you can help me - I am desperate:We tested Adobe connect carefully and were quite satisfied with it so we bought the license and started our first meeting today. I generated the meeting three days ago so we could send the URL to the guestes - everything ok. But when I wanted to upload the files today, it said I don't have the permission and should contact my admin. But I AM the admin! When I cheched the settings it also said I am the admin, but when I tried again to upload it didn't work for the same reason.I thought I could solve this if I start the meeting and then upload the files. But when I logged in to the meeting, I was just registered as a participant. I tried all the ways - by clicking the button in the connect central and by using the direct link to the meeting. I also logged in as the other admin to my account, but nothing worked - and by that the meeting wa

Hello.I am planning to do webinar with one of speaker, and he has a problem that whenever he tries to share his webcam or screen, the Adobe Connect application suddenly turns off. (Audio sharing is fine.)He is using Mac OS, and we already have tried to disable firewall, open accessibility to Adobe Connect, but still occurs same situation.Is there any solutions regarding this issue ? Hello-I have a few questions I have been trying to get answers to:After I create the Webinar, will an invite get sent to all invitees with a link theycan click on to accept/decline, and also a link to the meeting?Will this put the webinar on the invitees' calendar?Will the webinar track who responded (ie-accept/decline); When an invitee accepts/declines the meeting, will I get notified of this as the creator/chair of the meeting? Will the invitees receive automatic reminders of the webinar?Thank you for your help!

Have pictures form recent trip - my wife used her phone and I used a camera. After downloading pictures, i wanted to put them in sequential order by combining both the phone and camera photos. Unfortunately I was unable to do so. The program keeps the photos separate by source. Is there an easy method to accomplish this? I would appreciate any feedback you can provide. Thank you.
I have been invited on several occasions in the past to deliver lectures to a university in Europe via the university's Adobe Connect app. The *.pptx chart set which accompanies my lecture includes three charts each of which contains a short *.MP4 animation. The animation are lost in the actual presentation. Adobe Tech Help keeps insisting that the work-around is saving the *.pptx as a *.ppt chart set and/or using Adobe Presenter. I have tried the conversion to *.ppt which destroys the animations. As of last week, when running an Adobe Connect meeting via Firefox, I could no longer use the "Manage Meeting Information" function. A tiny blue circle would very briefly spin and then nothing would happen.As of tonight, I can't even open a Connect room via Firefox. Hello,Is it possible to change the message that appears when you try to watch a recording? Our recordings are available to the public but we want to track the number of views. My thought is that I can include the passcode in the message line. I have no other way of distributing the code to such a broad audience. Something like "Enter 123 to view the recording."Any help you have would be appreciated! I'd also love to hear other ways you can track the number of views. Maybe there is a better way.example
I've tried several times from both Chrome and Safari. It says the installation was completed, but it does not show up in my Applications folder or anywhere else. And when I try to use it says, try again, whichI do, but it still doesn't happen. Help please.
I am trying to use the "Make Offline" feature. I have the Adobe Connect application installed and up-to-date, am assigned as host, the recording is set as public access with passcode. When I select the "Make Offline" feature, I get a popup window and enter the passcode, then jump to this screen:After 15-20 seconds, it jumps to this:Somehow it is not correctly passing off to the application.Thoughts/suggestions? US Army Contract ....located in Bagram Air BaseWe have deployed Adobe Connect Version 9. We need to integrate Adobe Connect Version 9 to the CISCO Video Communications Server (Not the Cisco Call Manager).Back in 2012 I was able to integrate Version 8 by just registering the ADC to the VCS via a H.323 registration. it worked two way audio and one way video.With Version 9 it's asking only to create a SIP Trunk which I did but when I try to dial the conference ID of the VTC conference call via the Telephony POD it will not connect ?? Also is there a diagnostic tool to look at the call routing/call set up from ADC ???Please advise if you have any other things to look for ... is there a dial pattern that needs to be created in the Adobe connect ??? If so where I can't find it ..NOTE: On a side note the company WEBSITE makes CISCO"s web site look like a dream. Why is the Adobe site so complicated to find just about anything.... ???Thank you
For a few years Capitol Technology University has been automatically downloading our course recordings in MP4 format using the Adobe API. Then, in our Canvas integration, we offer our students a chance to download them with one click. We strive to make the recordings available within 48 hours after the class, but it is typically quicker. Hello,I use Adobe Connect add-in 9, but I cannot "save as" a pdf file that my teacher shares or "save as" the notes or chat. What can I do? I have Windows 10 Home 64bits on two different computers (HP and Lenovo), both have the same problem. If I want to use the troubleshooter that it is in "Help" nothing happens. Hi,I have a problem when setting my Connect user accounts, as follows:My goal is to set up registered users as Meeting Hosts, so they can log in to meetings and enter as Hosts in the first place, so they can take care of sessions completely. BUT, I don't want this same account to access Connect back-end and having rights to create or destroy meeting rooms.I didn't find this possible, as if I define a user with the role of "Limited Administrator", it cannot login as Meeting Host, and if I add it to the group "Meeting hosts", it automatically acquires the right to create or destroy meeting rooms. Is there any way to register users as just hosts and nothing else, so they login as hosts but have nothing to do with the Administration back-end?Thank you!Ignacio
While trying to install Adobe Connect Add-in I get the message " Couldn't write the application to the hard disk. Please verify the hard disk is available and try again. If by hard disk it means hard drive then it has plenty to pick from. I have 2 internal, 2 external, and a usb in while recieving the error. Thoughts?

If not, please re-direct me to the appropriate one.I see various SDK versions coming up in the Tag list. Is 2.0 the latest one for Connect?One of my planned plug-ins includes the ability for the Presenter / Host to set / clear everyone's statuses. I can see from the docs how to set / clear my own status, but all of the references I can see in the documentation to other users appear to be marked "read only". Am I missing something here? Is it just the list that's R/O, but the individual properties are R/W (assuming appropriate security level)?Is there any way to save preferences / state information within the meeting room, or would I need to provide an external web service to store this?Is there any way to interact between pods? I have two guests who I have attempted to convert to users. They now appear as users and not in the guest group. However, they are still not able to log into the site. I have tried password resets and same result. I even tried deleting them all together and then adding back as users and they still cannot access. Any ideas as to what I need to do? Thank you
