Questions

Will the links no longer work or be asked to be replaced? I ask as I have 1000s of hours of work with files linked in folders that are in my cloud folder. Will the folder name change after the discontinuation mean that all of those links will be broken and will have to be manually re-linked? 

Hey all, if anyone has a solve for this, it would be much appreciated!I created a shared library for my team to work on a project. It should have .ai files, jpegs, color palettes, etc. It took a couple of relaunches/reinstalls to get my teammate to actually see the library in the creative cloud app, but it eventually worked. Now however, she has uploaded a lot of the files types mentioned above, but I cannot see any of the files from my end. She definitely has edit access. I can see the files uploaded and available in the library on her end when we have share-screened, but they don't come up on my screen. I've reset the app, I've signed out and back in, paused and unpaused syncing several times, and I've checked both the Mac desktop app and the in-browser CC website, but the files are nowhere to be found. Screenshots for reference, with names redacted.Does anyone have an idea of what we are doing wrong? Thanks in advance!

Since the update pushed yesterday, the internet connection on my machine will not stay running while running Adobe CC apps. It will work for a few minutes then the latency tanks until there is no usable connection. Network preferences show a connection and IP address. Going to try to reinstall or roll back. can't get work done like this.

Hey community, i did something stupid today. I got a new E drive and since adobe only works on C and i had no space there i moved every file to my new E drive and deleted everything in my C drive. Everything is fine except it wont let me install creative something with missing files etc. I've used a 3 party plugin to delete all files for adobe and deleted as many as windows will give me permission to but i still cant dont know what to do. Even if i get the creative installer down every time i click the icon nothing happens. (And yes i've used adobe creative cloud cleaner but it still wont work) 

I've been using illustrator for months no problem on my laptop but this week it seems to be killing my internet. I uninstalled creative cloud to prove this theory and internet was fine again. I havent had any windows or adobe updates this week. its totally crippling my internet - i cannot do anything.i've disabled everything adobe running at startupthere always seems to be creative cloud things running in the background - for instance i always seem to have multiple versions of Adobe CEF Helper running in task manager. i am not a techy and dont feel comfortable with scripts. i need to get to the root cause of this problem and get it fixed....help! 

My portfolio was deleted when my subscription lapsed. I renewed my subscription and recreated my portfolio, but Adobe says the originalportfolio name - my primary domain name- is "in use" and cannot be attached to my recreated portfolio. How can I assign the original (deleted portfolio) domain name to my new portfolio?

The day renewed the scripting is 16 December and today (30 December) I want to cancel the subsciption, which should be within 14 days, but it said it will charge the cancelation fee.

So, I'm finding that I am restricted from moving the "Creative Cloud Files" container (for syncing to the cloud from my desktop). It is bound to C:Users/Name and will not move. This is very saddening and seems like an elementary function that should be included. I do not want to store things on my small SSD C: drive -- thanks.Am I missing something here?

Hello,I am a newbie here and, thus, have a question that some will consider naive or downright stupid. For that, I apologize in advance. I am confused about the new sync policy being instituted at the end of February 2024. I use cloud-based Lightroom, Photoshop, and my 1 TB Creative Cloud storage to enable me to work on both my laptop and my iPad. My question is: Will the new Creative Cloud sync policy allow me to continue doing that without additional fees? I'm afraid that it will be a deal breaker if I can no longer work across devices or have to pay extra fees to continue doing so. Thanks much for your help in understanding this.Dave

which system is best to run all creative cloud apps?

Starting February 1, 2024, Creative Cloud Synced files are being discontinued for personal accounts. Does this mean I can no longer share collections from Lightroom Classic? Does it also mean the end of Adobe Portfolio?

I was kind of disappointed recently to learn that there isn't an option to pause my Creative Cloud subscription. It wasn't immediately apparent to me that there was even a monthly subscription option for Adobe Creative Cloud and I was under the impression that the minimum purchase was for one year, and that it would roll-over to a month-by-month subscription after that. Apparently there is an option for a month-to-month subscription, but it's not immediately apparent or obvious in any ways and to top it off the amount your paying for the month-to-month is so much more expensive then the year-long subscription that it's almost like so erronously more expensive that you'd have to be crazy not to just buy the year-long version. This used to be just a one-time payment and you got to just use the service and that system worked great.

Bonjour, Depuis peu, dans l'explorateur, le dossier creative cloud n'apparait plus comme "creative cloud files" mais comme "creative cloud files + mon adresse email + des chiffres et des lettres @adobeID" Quand je clique dessus, j'ai un message indiquant emplacement indisponible, logique puis que mes fichiers sont dans "creative cloud files". J'ai essayé de faire disparaitre de dossier avec l'outil de modification du regsitre sans résultat (surement car il ne porte pas le bon nom) J'aimerais savoir comment corriger  ce mauvais dossier apparaissant dans l'arborescense de l'explorateur 😉

I suddenly can’t upload pdf files onto my Adobe Creative Cloud anymore. This is not just for one specific file - I’ve tried it with other pdf and other file formats that I’ve already uploaded onto the CC previously and I now get the same error message: "Files could not be uploaded. File type not supported." Can anyone help?

Hello,I'm still quite a newbie to all of this. I largely use PS for artwork, and occasionally AI. I have posted here before and received support and as such I now store my imported/ exported drawings on my iCloud drive, and use Creative Cloud to store the project files as they tend to be large. I'm working off my own Mac, and don't need CC for sharing with anyone else. My main question now is - do I need to back Creative Cloud up? I know I can log onto another computer and log in and then have access to everything there, but is that enough or should I back my CC projects up onto a hard drive too? Thanks in advance for your patience!

What about for Windows? I'm receiving the same error as the original poster. I'm also getting an error that my cloud storage is full, but I deleted over half of my photos on Lightroom. The GB amount has not changed since deleting them and I'm not sure what to do? Perhaps these issues are related?

1. Hello community! Does adobe keeps any plugin for the wordpress users to enjoy the lazy load of images. Most important, does adobe keep any plugin or extension that later on must not require any format conversion as we convert jpg to webp the best suitable img format for WP to maintain the website speed.  2. does adobe keeps its own convertor of webp format without charging any fee.  Because installig a lot of plugins the speed of website goes down. The same happened to may site 3. Tell me the exact and standard size of adobe created img that to be a fit in terms of img quality.

 I think my Creative Cloud files/account have been compromised in some way or another. During the evening hours of Friday, December 15th, 2023, I noticed a particular file that I was in the midst of closing just suddenly vanished once I hit close. Usually, you get a prompt asking to save before closing. This was the first time I've ever seen that NOT occur. EVER. This caused a bit of panic. I closed Photoshop, reopened it, and tried the file once more, but it did not load. Instead, the prompt read as follows: 'Sorry, We couldn't open your document. (-39).' So I closed that prompt, tried again, No beuno. Great, more panic. I went to my assets online, thinking I could just roll the dang thing back and restore the file. NOPE! As I did this a few times, I also got the prompt:  'Could not open ("generic filename") because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered.' I've never heard of such a thing. Hi.I work in a company where 3 of the employees work with Photoshop, lightroom, and Adobe XD at the same time. Our licence allows us to be active only in 2 laptops at the same time. I can't find a plan or a place on the adobe website where I can pay for one more login. Can someone help me?

So I've just subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud, installed all the programs I need and tried the Cloud Storage, which unfortunately didn't work.I installed the CC desktop application and activated the cloud storage option from there. However, the folder and files that I put in the Creative Cloud Files folder were not uploaded.Then I tried creating a folder using the browser access. Creating the folder was no problem, but again, it doesn't show up in my local Creative Cloud Files folder.I also tried activating the automatic project backup option in Premiere Pro. But Premiere told me that I need to install the Creative Cloud desktop application and set up the cloud storage (which I already did). Syncing the settings of Premiere Pro failed as well.I restarted my computer and reinstalled the creative cloud application, neither of which had any effect.
