Can any one suggest me a yt channel or else for learning adobe dimension from bignner level to advance. Waiting for your kind comments.  

Hi, I have a strange problem with Dimensions which makes it completely unusable for me. When I try to change a font, it takes so long that I forget what I was doing when it's done! Switching to Didot, for example, takes 5-6 minutes, while switching to another font called Gordita takes about 15 minutes! Yes, I wait 15 minutes for a font change. Other than that, the software works flawlessly and pretty fast as well. Even renders are a lot quicker than I thought. I tried so many fonts (including system fonts like Arial, Times New Roman, etc.) so I'm sure that it's not about a certain font. Do you have any idea what may cause it? I use the latest version of Dimensions, and my OS is MacOS Catalina 10.15.4. My system is an iMac Retina 5K 27-in Late 2015 with 32GHz Quad-Core i5 CPU and 24gb of ram.Thanks in advance for your valuable input!

Hi! I intalled the AD in my old macbook pro backup, but the software simply do not even starts. I tried older versions, but it's the same. The icon pops on dock and right away vanish. Not even runs a few seconds. Here is a screenshot of 'about the mac'. Many others Adobe apps runs nice and easy, even other aplications like Logic Pro. I use a 500Gb SSD. It's a pretty fast machine. I thanks for any help! 

Hi, I have a problem in dimmension. I want to free scale object (Scale Z Y X) by color cursors near object (i dont know how to call this).When I draw one of them scale of object are lock. I can't distort object by color cursors. I can to this on the right side by changing digits but it is more uncomfortable to me.Sometimes I haven't got this problem but in other day I can't deal with it.What am I doing wrong?

Hello guy's....I am new to Dimension and I love what I see...the usage is just endless. I think its the best any creative tool out there right now. Just a quick question. As I am going through some tutorials I sometimes see that I dont have all the functions avialabe. Currently I have Dimensions as part Adobe CC  all apps on my Desktop. Is there a stand alone Version? Thanks a lot..Marion

It would be great if Dimension not only saved the camera angle settings, but the lighting as well. Just an idea from a grateful soon to be graduating Covid-19 graphic design student. This application has helped me so much during this time 🙂

Hi, I'm trying to render a model in Dimension. It was modelled and UV'd in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush, and the normal map was generated in ZBrush as well. It looks fine in Maya Viewport 2.0.When I load it in Dimension, though, it look false. In Maya, when this thing occurs, you know that your normal map is in sRGB colour space, while it should be in RAW. But in Dimension, I found no way to set this.How am I supposed to use a normal map here?

Hello folks, I've designed the attached scene yesterday, but couldn't find a way to smoothen the edges of the white shape. I want it to be perfectly round and flawless, but I couldn't find a setting to adjust that. Any ideas?Thank you!

Hello! I created a 3D logo in Photoshop. The logo has 2 colors. I export it as 3D/Export 3D Layer/ wavefront(original format).  When I import the 3D logo in Dimension, the logo becomes all gray and any texture I add to the logo will cover it entirelly. How can I import a 3D logo maintaining its colors, or is it possible to just select parts of the logo in Dimensions in order to fix the colors? Thank you 🙂

Hi there! I just wanna start to work with Dn and already have a problem with the view. I don't see anything -grid or wathever i'm puting to the main window. I can't do anything 😞 Can anybody help me?By the way - i have good computer with nice graphics, working on photoshop, illustrator, indesign and capture one sometimes at the same time so technique problem - shouldn't be. 

Hi everyone,i am using this .obj file: https://unblast.com/free-apple-watch-series-5-3d-model-max/The 3D model was originally created in 3Ds MAX. I can easily import the .obj file in dimension and also assign materials. But when I render the image, it looks like this, even though the resolution is 2048x2048px: Of course I set the render quality to highWhy does the result look so bad compared to the original rendered image with 3Ds MAX?What am I doing wrong? How can I improve the result? I haven't changed my scene. All standard.Thanks for your answer

Hi there, i'm trying to design a takeaway coffee cup, i tried using the template but ended up making my own coffee cup using the cone from basic shapes, but it seems that i can't apply my own graphics onto these basic shapes, is it at all possible? Image below is my custom made coffee cup shape 

Hello,I have designed a birthday card using Dimensions, then exported to Ar where I animated the candles and the cake.I am unable to export using the share link or export options. The app crashes telling me I haven't enough Ram. Has anyone else come up against this issue? how did you solve it?Many thanks  

Hey Guys,When I render my dimensions file the render is really zoomed out compared to the angle I have picked.I have chosen the current view but the image is a lot smaller than my current angle.Can anybody help me out?Cheers,L

Hi everyone - I've been working on a 3D model in Sketchup (I am a student and this is my first time playing around with 3d modelling.) I exported the Sketchup file as a .obj file, and then tried to import into Adobe Dimension to add colours and materials. When I try import the file, I receive the popup pictured below. Does anyone please have any advice? I'm not sure what I have done wrong, or if theres anything I can do to fix this. I have attached images below of the error prompt, the settings I used (I also played around with unticking and ticking options although nothing worked), and an image of the model itself. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hi there, i'm using the coffee cup template in dimension to create a mockup for a takeaway coffee cup i'm designing. Is it possible to customise the cup to the exact dimensions i want? I was using the size and scale tools in the bottom corner, but they seem to do the same thing, i just want to edit the size of the radii. Any help much appreciated.  

Hi all, I have looked through the posts on this topic, and I'm not sure that I've come to a conclusion. The issue is that my decals look pixelated when rendered. I've experimented quite a bit with size, render, decal file type, etc. to no avail. One thing I am trying to determine:Why is the scale of the placed artwork showing as 800% no matter how big the placed image is, how close/far the camera is to the object, or the size of the canvas itself?I'm attaching a screenshot of what I'm talking about, here's the specs of the project:Canvas Size: 1400x900Placed image size on bottle: 4000+ px (I've experimented with everything from huge to 2000 px, I understand it is auto-cropped to 2000px)So why is it scaling it up so much? Is that causing the poor/blurry resolution when I render?Thanks in advance!
