This is for an HTML email blast, utilizing inline code using "brute force" that's not so brute!Outlook email client continuously renders the symbol a) not superscripted enough (not high enough) and b) too much distance to the left of the symbol creating optics that look as if there's an extra space in between the last letter used and the registration trademark symbol.<span style="font-size: smaller; display: inline-block; line-height: 0;"><sup>®</sup></span> I have tried many other attributes but nothing seems to resolve.Any recommendations?Thank you.

I created a menu upper left in css and a return to an "X" using  a checkbox class that i visual hid- but for some reason the checked class is preventing the overlay menu items from appearing  the test : https://pitchlab.net/checked_test.html and the way it should work (without "checked"): https://pitchlab.net/ not sure why that checkbox css would prevent the overlay from working 

So the title basically says it all. Dreamweaver won't open HTML files (it will oddly open php files though)I find the HTML file I want to edit, Dreamweaver successfully opens but just lands on the home screen and doesn't open the file.I try to open it again. nothing.I try to create a new file, save it and all the HTML code disappears in the editor and I am unable to edit or add anything. If I close out of dreamweaver and try to open the new file, Dreamweaver will open but not open the file.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Dreamweaver. Nothing.I went into my systems Library and deleted all my preferences. Nothing.I uninstalled and reinstalled Java. Nothing.So basically I can't use Dreamweaver to do my work and I can't figure out why. HELP!System:MacOS 10.14.5Dreamweaver 19.2

Windows 11Version 24H2OS build 26100.3194 I have a site defined.it is using a CSS Preprocessor to compile SCSS to CSSThere are 20+ SCSS files in an assets folderThese files are then compiled into one large CSS file in a separate "css/styles.css" location.I've used this feature for years with no problem.In the last two days, this has just stopped working. I can force it to compile by selecting a file and pressing F9 but even this works inconsistently with it working or not Has anyone had a problem like this or know how to work around it?

Starting several weeks ago, Dreamweaver (21.4) shows all my Mac Time Machine backups in the pulldown site menu.I can't figure out how to make Dreamweaver ignore these files.

For quite a while now while I am trying to work on a HTML project on  Dreamweaver 21.3 15593Build on my 2019 Mac Pro (2.5GHZ 8-Core Intel Xeon and 32GB of RAM) with Mac OS 13.1 I am experiencing a significant lag in the program and constantly getting the rainbow wheel.I opened 5 pages to paste some new lines (each page has about 500 lines, not something too big) it took several minutes to even open the pages. Then when I navigate from page to page I am getting the spinning wheel every time. About 5 seconds from one tab to another.I did a test, added one new line in the code and it took 10 seconds to save it and 20-25 to exit the program.It will take for ever to make the change to the whole project… On the other hand on my M1 Pro Macbook Pro I opened 7 pages instantly and worked without any problem and no delay. Any help would be extremely helpful.

I have a strange problem I can't figure out. In one section of my document, I have article titles to which I've added hyperlinks. I put quotation marks around the article titles, but the hyperlink doesn't include the quotation marks. When the article title extends past the end of the line, it wraps normally to the next line. So far so good. In the Dreamweaver display, everything works as you'd expect. (Screenshot below; see the first example.) But when I view the page online through a browser (I tried this with both Firefox and Chrome), note how the first citation, because it extends beyond one line, puts a line break immediately after the first quotation mark and again immediately before the second one.How do I get it to stop doing this?

 Don't mind the code it's the insert panel that isn't behaving. This is extremely frustrating as I am a beginner and would like to USE THE INSERT PANEL TO HELP ME. 

Here is the strangest problem I've ever encountered. I have an index.html file as the home page on my personal website. In that file, I have a link to a graphic (jpg) file. I have a duplicate of the site on my personal computer. The link works fine there. It also works fine online if I write "index.html" after the site name (e.g., "www.mywebsite.com/index.html"). But if I don't (www.mywebsite.com), I get everything I expect to get EXCEPT this one particular graphic. It doesn't show up, and the space it normally occupies is gone as well. It's as if the line of code in the index.html document didn't exist. The link, by the way, is to another URL, and if I copy and paste that URL into my browser, I get the graphic with no problem, so there's no issue of it being an invalid link.I hope I'm explaining this properly. The key issue is that when I input the web address into the browser field without adding "/index.html", I get a different (and wrong) result from when I do input "/index.html".

I see windows problem discussion on same problem and remedy was to delete WinFileCache-BFE7CE2E.dat and it worked!! according to Win user.  Got the same problem on Mac version.. I realize Adobe has discontinued support but said they do fix issues on the current version. Actually quite a few items under 'Insert" doesn't do anything.Uninstalled-Reinstalled ...no help- MacOS UpToDate.   Any help would be helpful.

I'm learning Dreamweaver in college, and everytime I load the program, and everytime I'm doing anything, another UNRELATED popup takes up part of my screen and my attention. I already do not enjoy this sluggish, clunky software, but this is making me dislike Dreamweaver even more. I looked around, and I've found people looking for a way to turn this off dating back almost a decade with no luck. Anyone have any solution?

J'ai essayé avec le didacticiel compass site, il se passe la même chose, sauf que le fichier d'accueil CompassHome.html apparaissant dans l'explorateur windows, je peux l'ouvrir directement dans le navigateur, mais pas à partir de Dreamweaver. Phénomène identique pour tous les navigateurs. Y a-t-il une solution ? Ce qui est étonnant, c'est que après avoir fermé Dreamweaver et relancé le PC, le site et les fichiers créés sont toujours présents dans Dreamweaver : Ils sont donc bien stockés quelquepart ?? Merci par avance si il existe une solution. (Jusqu'à présent, j'utilisais Dreamweaver sur windoxs XP).

Can I run dreamweaver on windows 11 ? without damaging my system?

The only config file I can find now is in the applications folder     Where is it stored now in Apple Sequoia?

I am a total beginner when it comes to coding.   I have designed a mobile  app using adobe xd.    I now wish to create / code this mobile app using dreamweaver.   Can someone tell me how / what i need to do from scratch to code a new stand alone mobile app.   PLEASE NOTE I DO NOT WANT TO CREATE A WEBSITE. Well, this is frustrating. MacOS finally allows true folders-on-top sorting in Finder... but I can't figure out how to make DW do it in the files pane.I am aware of sorting by type, but that doesn't accomplish the same thing. It groups file types together, and what I want is folders first in alphabetical order, then files in alphabetical order regardless of type.Am I just missing how to do this, or is it that it's not possible?

I am creating a multi-page table (in indesign) that has a lot of information in some of it's cells. If I expanded the rows to show everything the table would be very long. Not what I want. I would like a way to save it in a virtual format that when you clicked or hovered on the cell, the hidden text would show up in a popup. #1) Is that possible, and how? #2) If not, are there any applications I can export the indesign table to that I can do this?  I managed to save the table from indesign as an html file, but when I opened it in dreamweaver it didn't look like anything. When I uploaded the files as is I was able to see the table on my web page, but the hidden text was not visible, and it did not show up when hovered or clicked. https://www.rahwayriver.org/seed_library_table/

How do I get to a specific line of css without having to scroll through thousands of lines?

Hi,I wonder if anyone could offer a solution to this:I added images that change automatically as a slide show on a page, using the descriptive found here:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46519126/how-to-randomize-the-slideshow-image-in-htmlThe action works well. But the problem is that the 4 images, 350px wide, appear side by side in the page layout in Dreamweaver, and blow up the page layout. Adding more images would just be impossible.I suspect that the action described above is based on images linked to an external website and not hosted locally, and therefore they do not show up in the layout. Mine are on my computer. I wonder if there is a way to stack images in the preview, as there is for instance a possibility to reduce the code to one line for a set of lines in code view? I'm not very knowledgeable I must say. Just as a note, although a Creative Cloud user, I'm still using DW CS6 due to many Spry collapsible panels in my pages. Thank you.Paul 

I am working on maintaining my website and need to change to a different liberay. When I click on the Assets Dreamweaver hangs and I can not get it to recover. I get the "Not Responding" notification.

Several people on Ebay are selling Dreamweaver CS6 Portable for less than $100.  Does Adobe even sell a portable version of Dreamweaver CS6?  I assume these are pirated copies, but I need to be sure before I load one on my PC.
