We updated and went to Subcription updates and now  on the local site we can include a link butdoes not show up on Remote... We are getting 400.00 problem can't find whatever.   Contacted support he did not ohave an answer...   What do we do to fix or can we convert the files??  I am lost and what to do.Rube

Ok...I'm rebuilding my website, and on my bookcover.html page the hyperlinks to the books listed will NOT work regardless of how many times I redo the d*** page and upload it to my server. The new page will NOT reflect the changes. Also, on my gallery page, two new images will NOT load at all. Same problem. They won't update. This is royally pi**ing me off, and I don't know what to do about it. 

RE: Dreamweaver CC 21Hello community, I hope you can help me with an issue I am having with Dreamweaver Find and Replace.I do a find and generate a set of pages as my search result.  Now I want to search within these pages for another query.  How can I do that? Alternatively, I could search for a document (not a specific tag) that [contains] x AND [does not contain] xx but I can't see how to do that either only if both parameters are within a specific tag. Any help would be appreciated. 

I am responsible for a website that has hundreds of thousands of items. I use the link checker to check links sitewide, and after a long time, results for broken links are displayed. I am able to save that report. I change the drop down from broken links to orpaned files, there is a lag and Dreamweaver becomes non-responsive. After quite awhile, a list of orphaned files are displayed. Whenever I try to save this, Dreamweaver crashes and the crash report shows up. This happened in Dreamweaver 2019, then I updated to 2021 and it still happens. It is happening in CS6 too.

I am trying to start javascript on Dreamweaver but when I execute the first var code, it says        var headingTop = document.querySelector("h1");       console.log(headingTop); ESLintError cli is available, try reinstalling the extension I have exist it out and opened it again, it didn't work. I have accessed Creative Cloud Desktop and attempted to Open Dreamwever 2021   Click on the Open tab,  Dreamwever 2021 starts to Initialise files and then just hangs The next stage is for Dreamwever to flag "Not Responding" This issue has been a problem for the past few days and I need an urgent solution -- particularly as we are paying for the service. i can not veiw live priview in any broswer, i have safari and chrome, just every option for everything live view is greyed out, i cant seem to find anything online, and i am really beginner with dreamweaver/code coming from a WP background. any html or php i bring up just send me to a white screen, there is a info bar talking about dynamix content, when i try to retrive it it fails.... i have no idea why or whats happening, i import4d the site over ftp, its all there, i just cant see it on live? 

I am going to re-install windows soon so I thought before I do it, I would get any software off the C: partition and re-install to my P: partition (p for programs - I'm so smooth!).  I un-installed DW then within CC Desktop clicked Install, confident it would ask me where I'd like to install it NO SUCH LUCK - it installed neatly back on my C: partiton!  Does anyone know if what I want to do is possible? many thanks in advance, David

I am using pre code to display the webpage code but there is a top and bottom padding that is not correct. It should be 0px. No it's not the normal question.I meant to scroll my text in Dreamweaver but didn't realise I was resting on another keyboard key.My code is now enormous.Can anyone tell me how to get it back to normal please?

I was typing in a few characters to locate a a file in the sidebar file list, and then suddently they all just disappeared. they are still on the  machine, just not displayed in DW.I check cloaking - i disabled it.I still see the list of remote files if I'm connected, but nothing on the local side.What did I do - and i do i reverse it 🙂 Thanks 

Hi, has anybody else had this issue?I am typing away in the code panel, and all of a sudden the cursor jumps about 5 or 6 lines down and to the left and carries on inputting the code as I type. So, I delete the code that has been entered in the wrong place, reposition the cursor to where I want it and start typing again... lo and behold, the cursor moves itself again. If I don't look up to see what I have typed I can completely ruin all sorts of code meaning I've got to physically look for what has been erroneously entered!It's frustrating!

I would like to update stories (published by various writers) and have the writers preview the changes before it is published. Is there a way, perhaps using a password, that I can do that while keeping the previous version online?

Hi all, I wanted to write this post because I do not think it correct that Adobe, after updating, requires me to pay for the new software version. Dreamweaver asked me to update and delete the old software and so I did. After starting it I noticed that the software was on trial ... I could not find Dreamweaver 2020 on the site, could someone help me, thanks

Hello, 😉 Until now, I had created sites for me (only local) document management, dvdtheque, ... with HTML, PHP, javascript, ... But I would like to redesign an online site (a simple showcase site, mainly text) for an association and use a tool like DW to redo the site. I would like to use DW (in + it will give me the opportunity to learn it ;-)) but I would like to do as much as possible with the graphical interface (WYSIWYG mode) therefore do not enter the HTML, CSS, javascript, ... code. (Eg take inspiration from the site bonsaiclubsudaisne.fr [link removed by moderator])   I would like to create drop-down menus at the top of the screen (like on most sites), then insert a form, a few mages, tables, ...) so all in WYSIWYG. (and therefore generation of the code behind) Is it really possible? Where is the "Structure Insert Panel in Dreamweaver.  I want to insert a fluid grid div so that it is not static on a row and can me moved around and I don't get that option when I insert a regurlar div.  CS6 used to have a insert fluidgriddiv but I don't see anything like that in 2021.  I'm thinking bootstrap is the deal but I don't know anything about bootstrap so please advise.

Hi, I just backed up an old Macbook Pro to time machine. Then sold the computer for an M1 Mac Mini. Unfortunately, I didn't export my Dreamweaver site settings on the old computer. Is there a way for me to retreave them to the new computer by going into my time machine backup? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
