I would like to hire a PHP programmer. I have old php code in dreamwever, that needs to be updated. Can I ask for a PHP programmer here, or can anyone give me recommendations where I can find a PHP programmer, who also knows Dreamweaver? I liked using Dreamweaver because the original programmer showed me how to use the validation option before I pushed the html edits in the page.Thank you.

HelloI am trying to install Dreamweaver CC 2021 October 2020 (version 21.0), when I run the set-up.exe file with administrator rights, it detects automatically the language, I select the default path then I press the blue button to continue and the installer is stucked at the 81%...This is very frustrating really.Searching in Google I have read people is experiencing similar problems and they say it is a permission issue that Adobe & Microsoft refuse to fix (in a timely manner), but no idea about what is this exactly.Some people recommend to run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, but they do not explain how should I run this tool and what should I do exactly when running it? Should I delete Dreamweaver CC 2021 with the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool or what? and then? reinstall it again? I have a responsive web designed page. It changes from two colums to one column for small devices. I need to make the web page print friendly. I understand about using a separate CSS for print media and/or media queries. I can use that to turn off parts that I do not want printed, e.g.. menus. What I need help on is understanding how I can force the 2-column design to print as a single column. Basically I want it to look like it was designed for a small device. FYI, I'm using Bootstrap 3. Can you give me any suggestions on how to do this? Cheers.Marcus Libkind

I learned Dreamweaver CS6 years ago. I have not found a good way to learn the CC version. I bought a Missing Manual, but it is a 2015 edition and not up to the task. There are so many changes I am forced to relearn. Where can I find it, and what is the best book to study the latest version of Dreamweaver CC? Please advise. I can learn this stuff from books. Trying to plod up the learning curve without one is not my way.

In the past I have renamed the ssh_hosts file to ssh_hosts_old and restarted Dreamweaver.I can no longer find the ssh_hosts file.Has it been moved? Removed?Is there another way to reset the hosts file so I don't get the above error?

Not to be confused with Ege Animate which was ended by Adobe (irritatingly). I am trying to embed non-Flash content from Animate. I tried embedding the HTML via iFrame without success. How do I achieve this? I can't figure out how to publish anything I made in Animate online. The info I found online is old and refers to Flash.Thank you

I'm teaching Dreamweaver and, i'm trying to help my kids keep their code organized and (important to them) separated. When you insert either and HTML or bootstrap element, Dreamweaver deletes any empty lines between that element and whatever is next in the code.Yes, yes, I know most people, myself included, prefer to not have extra spaces, but it would help my students get comfortable, not to mention stop them from not knowing where the hell they are in the code.Please and thank you.

Hello I just started paying for this dreamweaver and do not know a thing about coding, how can I build my website with this if I have no clue what to do, can I still use any other part of the Adobe system within it?If not how do I cancel the subscription???I am at a loss here!!! I am having the same issue. I made a template. But I originally made a Bootstrap page then added editable and repeating areas. Saved it as a template then made the child pages.  Any help would be awesome. I am very new at this.   [Branched & edited by moderator for clarity.]

I have a fairly simple HTML page that I use for photo tracking.  Since updating to 2021 version, the app is constantly crashing when I attempt to edit my document.  I'm unsure of what is causing it since it happens completely randomly.  Its become even more frequent in the last week or so. Do I need to rebuild something or delete a cache file somewhere?

I'm a mostly retired web developer with one client left (I detached from all the others).  The client is a friend as well and wants her site converte to be responsive so it displays well on phones.  The site was built in 2001 when people were still using modems and was made small & light per the custom in those days. I have Dreamweaver 5 (!) which as served me well, but to make her site responsive, I'd need to upgrade to another tool.  So I have questions of course: 1. Does the current version of DW really create responsive sites?2. How difficult is this to do?3. How realistic is it to assume that I could could convert this dinosaur to a responsive site using the latest version of DW? I'm sure there are other questions to ask, so please feel free to offer any additional advice if y'all would. In old versions of Dreamweaver there was a  way to alter the structure of a new file.   For example the standard in my company is for every file to have a commented out header text as lines 2 - 30 of  the file.    This makes it easy to find a particular file if you are not sure the exact name of the file.      But i can't see how I can do this now.     Can anyone help please?       For example,  a new HTML file would have the forllowing as the first few lines of the file as part of the default code:  <html><!----==========================================================================================================Filename: filename.htmlDescription: purpose of the file  -  the subroutine in the site the file belongs.Client: Client nameDate:    Date in our local format automatically entered..Author: Person who is the author - the login name for this copy of Dream

My website has images and data but when opened in DW there's only background image. No data. I have downloaded the entire site to my computer and it shows all the date in HTML source but nothing in design view. Every time I paste in comments to a file in my local file directory. I get a pop-up box that says, "The file xxx.php has been modified. Do you want to save the file before putting?" I am not even saving. I just pasting in notes. What can I do to stop this? 

Is there an easy way to select a custom color for a page or table background?  I'm not getting a color selector no matter what I do.  What am I missing?Thanks!

Hi,We have a Mac that was formatted and reimaged his Mac due to an issue, but he never backed up his Dreamweaver 2021 Site Settings by exporting it.  Is there a manual way to restore these settings from a computer backup file or folder for a Mac OS X computer?  He specifically is trying to restore his webdav URL TIA

After upgrading my Mac to Big Sur (OS XI?), Dreamweaver has jumped to my secondary monitor, and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it back to my primary monitor. Nothing in Preferences seems to point that way. Any suggestions?
