Hello:I haven't yet created a Library item with CC (although I have with CS5 and CS6 without difficulty). I made my first attempt today using CC.Following what I see on Adobe's "Work with library items in Dreamweaver " page, I've tried numerous times to create a sample library item and add it to a new TEST page.The first method on Adobe's page suggests that I select a portion of the document that I'll save as a library item. Step 2 reads:Select Tools > Library > Add Object to Library.Unfortunately, "Add Object to Library" is grayed out for each selection that I choose.     (  ; - (Adobe's second section is titled "Create an Empty Library Item." I had no difficulty creating it. . .However, when I attempted to "Insert a library item into a document," it didn't work as expected. How do I change the UI language in Dreamweaver CC to Simplified Chinese? Illustrator and Photoshop are fully in Chinese but Dreamweaver is mostly still in English. A few parts are in Chinese. It seems like Adobe haven’t actually added full Chinese UI support for Dreamweaver. I have selected 简体中文 on the Creative Cloud tab of Adobe CC settings. Still all English when I delete/reinstall Dreamweaver.

I am having hard time connecting to a sql database. I am using DW 19.1, Windows 10, Wampserver (all services running). I just build a simple DW-php form/code.I am starting with two issues:The very first line is looking for a wamp64.php file that has:            $wamp64 = mysql_pconnect(.......), I am replacing with mysqli but DW is replacing that all the time with the original mysql sentence.Second: I am trying with different PHP verion, but I am not able to get the databases.Can anyone help me with the right environment to avoid all this annoying situation. I had this page working, and then suddenly in the middle of the page, the h2 header is broken in a really weird way and is interacting strangely with the photo above. I can't find anything in the CSS or my source code to explain it.The first issue is that the title itself breaks into 2 broken lines at 1200px screenwidth and above, even though there's plenty of room for it.From 992 to 1200px the image from the above paragraph, which is in a separate <div> and <p> section, jumps down on top of the h2 heading.A 3rd issue is that the margin above and below the h2 header doesn't work at those wider widths either. I've searched through all the @media attributes for different screen sizes in the bootstrap CSS, but couldn't see anything obvious that would trigger this behavior.Any ideas? CC2017 appears to have inexplicably removed the ability to create Snippets that wrap a selection. Old "wrapping" Snippets work, however new ones can't be created currently in the CC2017 interface.Please tell me this was accidental and will be repaired in the upcoming dot release.

Today my Dreamweaver program stopped working. The product's workspace window opens and shows the recently opened files as usual. The Adobe product splash screen opens, briefly shows only the Adobe logo, then closes to open a larger white window with no content other than an X in the top right corner (see the image below). If I click on the workspace area, I get a windows beep telling me I need to close the window on top first. But when I close this white window on top, it shuts down Dreamweaver. So, I am unable to use Dreamweaver at all. I tried contacting Adobe support via the chat option but after telling me they were transferring me to a support specialist the chat is over ... no help arrives no matter how long I wait and there is no further conversation from Adobe. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this Dreamweaver BUG? HELP!!!

I need to build a template.  The template has a menu navigation that has 4 top level items and 3 of the 4 top level items have submenu items.My first instinct is that the nav should not be in an editable region so that any changes to the template's main navigation will replicate to all the other pages in the site.However there is also a class that I want to use within the nav.  The class is called "current" and it underlines the top level navigation menu item to show that a page in that top level menu item is selected.That means I have to place class="current" within the menu navigation to highlight the currently selected top level menu item.  So that makes me think I have to put the main navigation in an editable region but if I do that and I need to add/change/remove a menu item in the main navigation then I have to manually do it to every page in the site instead of relying on the template to replicate the change.How can this dilemma be solved? <nav role="navigatio

Is codepen.io really a great a source for grabbing HTML and CSS items for building websites? Because, im now at a point where I almost feel like it isn't, and half the codes on that site don't work properly with broken links and or images and such. Hey All.have a question about hotspot maps, I have used a Jpeg image of a map and use the hotspot tool to highlight areas of the map. I have attempted to link these areas to different pages on my site but it always redirects back to the homepage no matter what image you click.

I know that since Dreamweaver CC 2016 (as far as I know) no longer lets you drag and drop pages from your website nest into the page to create a link in code view. I know that it is, however, still possible to do this in design view.There is a problem I am facing, though. In CC 2015 when I dragged and dropped the pages, it automatically created the display text for me and it took that text from my <title> tag from the page. The new Dreamweaver is not doing that for me.
