Dreamweaver CS6 website hosted on GoDaddy.  After 7+ years of successful development, I can no longer "put" pages to the remote server. I receive a "same - not transferred" message.  I have rebuilt the cache, rebooted several times to clear memory, spent two hours on a chat with GoDaddy and done numerous successful tests on "Site>Manage Sites>Site Setup>Servers>BasicAll with no results.HELP PLEASE

I have had someone contact me about building a website with restaurant listings by category, with banner advertising to generate revenue. Possibly would also have an e-gift card feature.I have never done a site like this before and have lots of questions, mostly regarding legal liability. For instance, a restaurant owner may object to being listed, or if there is an online review feature may claim that a comment amounts to slander, etc. etc. Also, any e-gift card feature would obviously need to be worked out with the owners, and I sure as heck do not want to deal with this.I have never even dealt with advertisers on a website so am unsure about this as well.

I need to link images to link or forward to other website.I add domain name  in Link section from image properties.when I click on image it showed my domain name/other website address.Thank you for reading,James

I've installed the trial Dreamweaver CC to complement my Photoshop CC.Before I commit to an annual subscription I need to resolve the following problem which I see is often documented within this forum without satisfactory result.I extensively use the Bootstrap framework and intend to frequently use the insert->Bootstrap Components funciton.However, I continually receive the error message:'The component is not fully compatible with the current CSS/JS file(lower than v3.0). A new Bootstrap CSS/JS file will be created and linked from the document. Do you want to continue?'I have tried resetting preferences, toggled between live and design views and used varying links to different bootstrap css files but still this error message persists. If I choose to continue and insert the code it is inserted for a fraction of a second but quickly disappears.I have tried all the suggestions that appear in these forums but none seem to work for me on either PC computer or laptop - both have the same

Hello! I need to create a database for a website on ixwebhosting using MySQL and PhP. It needs to be an interactive database that can provide feedback on 150+ organizations and editable for future employees to update. To be more specific, it needs to be a webpage on the website. 1) Can I use DW to create such a database for php?2) Will the next person need to use DW to edit the database? If so will they specifically need my account?3) If I were to be drawing up a timeline for this project, could the first step be create the database using DW, then enter it to php, then lastly, connect the database table webpage to the website? OR do I need to synch DW to php first?

I'm working on my code for a temp page and I came up with the ever so fun error about special characters needing to be escaped. I know my first problem is trying to do this when I'm sick, but for the life of me I can't see where I haven't closed something. I'm sure it's staring me in the face but I blame the cold meds. Hi, I'm looking to put all my favorite insert items in the Favorites category, but the category is missing. However, in the Insert drop down menu "customize favorites" is shown and appears to work, but when I return to the insert panel it's not there, instead I have a DMXzone listing. I thought maybe the DMXzone extension was conflicting with favorites, so I disabled the extension from my system start up list. I restarted and attempted to customize my favorite list again in DW..no success. Does anybody know a solution? I searched for hours in adobe forums, google and found nothing. I am in dreamweaver and my welcome screen doesn't appear.  I went into Edit, Preferences and there is not box to check for the welcome screen.  I am trying to use the fluid grid layout and it won't appear.

Hi all-I'm still a bit of a beginner with dreamweaver, but I took over our company website from another employee who has since left the company. The site's layout needs some updating/tweaking (copyright in the footbox, updated projects, update to new font), so I’ve updated the portfoliotemplate.dwt template that I've noticed is attached to the majority of the portfolio project pages. However, when I attempt to select the Update Files option (to update all linked pages to the template), or to update a page with this template, this box pops up:I know this means that the editable regions don't align, but if the page was originally created from this template, and I didn't add any additional regions, then why is this happening? ANY insight would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My local files won't refresh and the refresh button is missing in DW CC 2017.  In the files panel.  Also the size, time/date, and type of file is missing.  Any way to recover all these?

Das einzige was meine Augen etwas stört, ist die Farbvielfalt (oder nicht vielfalt ) im Code, in meinem Fall der PHP Code. Als Beispiel wird bei Sublime Text 3 in diesem Schnippsel:public function __construct(){     //code}public: rotfunction: blau__construct: gründargestellt. bei Dreamweaver sieht es wie folgt aus: public: rot function: rot__construct: grünIch habe schon versucht die Farben zu verändern, aber hier wurden public und function im .cm-keyword Tag zusammengefasst. Desweiteren wurden z.b. require_once() und  die() auch in Keywords reingedrückt. define() ist wiederum im .cm-builtin editierbar. I setup a table to have a black background with white letters. All the code seems to be correct, but no text is appearing on the page. I figure the property inspector may help, but it is nowhere to be found ... I know it is there, so where is it and how do I open it?

Hey folks,i don't know if i'm in the right place to ask questions.Currently i'm working with the latest version of Dreamweaver and want to watch a website i made on my smartphone.After scanning the qr-code i logged into my adobe account, but not live preview was shown on my smartphone.I followed the given solution steps (NodePort.js, restarting, check if working in the same network, Cooking enabling, firewall etc.) but nothing worked.Is there anything more i can do?Kind regards

I have noticed a lot of designs in which the old-fashioned horizontal menu is done away with entirely, leaving only an expandable "hamburger" menu. Any thoughts?

Hi,When I click a picture in the design view side I would expect that picture to be selected and the relevant code  to highlight in the Code side.I'm sure that this is how it used to work before I had to re-install Windows an all my software.Now when I click a picture in the design view it has a most annoying tendency to go elsewhere in design view and select an entirely different picture.Is there any way that I can prevent this from happening.Help with this annoying problem would be appreciated as its driving me round the bend

I am thoroughly confused.  Just updated to Win10.  Reinstalled Dreamweaver 8.0 and upgraded to 8.0.2.  Where are my site management buttons?Every other time I have loaded DW 8, I have them... what am I totally missing?

I am fairly new to dreamweaver and was trying to sort assets into favorites which I am able to. The problem I am having is that when in the favorite assets panel I create a favorite assets group, I am unable to add anything to it. I tried dragging and dropping it did not work. I tried to right click and see if there is anything I can do from there and still nothing. I believe being able to arrange/sort all the favorite assets is something I would really like to be able to do. Any thoughts on why I cant group them?

Hi, I was used in previous versions of DW of selecting strings of text or lines of codes in an HTML file with "shift" and now in the new 2017 version it seems impossible. Also, when selecting a string of text too quickly inside a tag, it goes back to the start of the line which is very annoying.Anyone has came across this issue? Did Adobe remove the shift selection shortcut?Thanks!

Boy, it feels like I am asking too many questions.  I sincerely apologize for that.  I am learning alot though.
