After updating (-> removing the previous version) Substance and updating Maya 2022 to the newest version (which is a full install) the Substance plug-in and menu item is nowhere to be found, the Substance shelf is empty. Forums only say that it should be installed with Maya 2022. I have manually removed and reinstalled Maya 2022.1 and the Substance plugin is not installed, not can I find it in the Maya install folders. Apparently, there is no separate install for 2022 on the website (only for 2020 and previous versions). Is there a solution for this out there?
My question is in regards to the Substance to Unity plugin and the automatic naming conventions of exported SBSAR files. When I export a substance package (SBSAR) with multiple contained graphs such as Dirt, Grass, Sand and then bring the SBSAR files into Unity with the Substance plugin the individual graphs share the name of the main package itself and will always have the suffix of _graph_0, graph_1, graph_2 and so on. I am curious if there is a way to have the substance graphs themselves utilize the original names contained in the substance package such as Dungeon_Sand, Dungeon_Dirt, Dungeon_Grass instead of the non descriptive graph_0_1_2 names. If I manually rename them inside of Unity will conflicts be created with the substance graph objects or the substance file objects which are created when utilizing the Substance to Unity Plugin? My final question is should I simply have each of my substance graphs separated into their own packages instead of having multiple in the same pack
Hi, Using Blender 4.3.0 on a Win11 machine. Never had any problems before with installing add ons. Tried installing according to the manual, as all add ons previous. But when installning SP Add On the toolkit doesnt work, it doesnt show up. See attached image. When installing the Integretion tool it shows an error. See attached image. Ive triple checked and it is the correct version etc. What to do?
Hi Just got substance painter, and installed the Blender addon and got it working with the integration tools. (Both latest version) Tried exporting materials as sbsar and loading them via the blender addon, which just produces a black material. Downloaded some community SBSAR-files as well Like thishttps://substance3d.adobe.com/community-assets/assets/8421dd61a662f5eb92182a587b60eda3c2879544 Also just produces a black texture which is also black if I apply it to the material. An Error flashes by (Added in the screengrab) But it is not very helpful. Anyone know where I could start to look for issues to get this resolved? Hi, I recently downloaded the Substance 3D add-on for Blender in Substance 3D add-on for Blender - Adobe Substance 3D along with the integration tool (version 2.1.1). After installing the add-on in Blender 4.3.0, the installation process went smoothly. I set up the integration tool via the add-on's preferences and configured my settings.Next, I opened the Shader Editor, accessed the "N" panel, and pressed the "Load" button provided by the add-on. At the bottom of Blender, I received the message:"Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized successfully in [2.171] seconds."However, no file browser appeared for me to select an SBSAR file.I then tried using the add-on in Blender versions 4.2.3, 4.0.2, and 3.6.0, but the same issue occurred in all of them.Could you help me understand what might be causing this issue?

I use to be able to use the plugin in previous version of Blender. Since upgrading to Blender 4.3 I either get a black material, or can not get the plugin to work. I have unloaded the plugins, and down loaded the latest version available. Has any one who experianced this have any recomendations? Thank you!
Hi,Ive not been using Substance [SBARS] for some time in my work with Unreal Engine so am a little out of touch with the eco system. So, on installing Unreal 5.5 i thought Id start working with some Substance assets [on the product page of fab the plugin is stated as supporting 5.5: https://www.fab.com/listings/292bb370-f146-4d1e-89c2-afbdb26cea6b ] in my work via the Unreal Plugin. Now...Although, I installed the Plugin via my Library for 5.5 i cannot see the plugin listed under Unreals Plugin Manager? Nor can I see any UE, UI feature that enables me to add .sbars, and neither can i drag an sbar into unreal [as its not a recognised format]. Am i missing something? Im new to unreal engine and ive been trying to enable substance and clolivesync the whole day but they keep clashing during startup. Both versions are in the plugins marketplace folder for UE5.4 and are both up to date. Im using a macbook m1 pro 16gb. I also have no background in coding so im comlpletely lost. Ive uninstalled and reinstalled both the engine version and the plugins. And they still arent compatible with eachother. My mac also running macos sequoia 15.1.1. is there a fix to this?down below are the outputlog error codes i get
Hey, I install the addon and the tools of the substance 3d addon for blender, and when I press the load button on the right panel its just dont work. The only think that happens its a console message: "Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized sucessfully in [2.162] seconds"
I downloaded Substance3DIntegrationTools-2.1.1-Windows.zip and installed it in the addon, but it does not activate. What's the problem?

I created some animations uing the glitch_filter.sbsar. and for some reason now is not working and the files I have are not working. Is there a way to fix this and why is this problem happening.Thank you

I have never been able to use Substances inside of 3ds Max with the Redshift renderer and IPR correctly. Your documentation says it's supported but it does not work and the Redshift developers claim in their forum that they are waiting for Substance developers to make the next move. https://www.redshift3d.com/forums/viewthread/26393/ Please fix this!

The Presets are in the correct order when opening the SBS in Designer.When loading the published SBSAR in Blender (3.6 LTS Current Version) using the Substance add-on (2.0.0) the Presets are visible but out of order, in that the presets are associated with the wrong parameters, specifically Base Color.Also, some of the preset parameter values are not being retained when loading in the Substance add-on.Wondering if anyone has seen this or may know of something I'm doing wrong to resolve this issue.
Hello, I am a Playstation game developer and I need Substance C++ files to compile the Unreal Engine 4 plugin for PS4. I tried using the developer status confirmation function, but there is no response. Is there any way to get them?
We are licensed developers and cannot build the UE4 plugin runtime for consoles. We tried e-mailed support and they directed us to this forum. Where can we confirm our developer status to obtain the console libraries?
When you click the download button, this appears (Substance 3D in Blender: SRE Initialized sucessfully in [2.217] seconds)(photo above). A folder for searching for material in computer files should have appeared. Blender version 4.2.What to do? How to fix?

I have been using the blender add-on integration tools to load the adobe Substance materials in my 3D files. But now I have a new laptop (macbook pro) and when I try to install the same add-on and integration tools it does not work anymore. I get an error trying to install the add-on and all the materials I try to apply are shown as black. Hopefully there is someone that can help me. I already tried unintalling and re-installing the addon multiple times. My hardware and software is up to date:Blender version is up to date: 3.4.0Macbook Pro: Ventura 13.0.1 I get this error:
