For the past week my arrow pointers at times, when over tool bar or the File, Edit etc. bar turn into a small circle with four pointers, a bit like a target. Any ideas why?   {Renamed by MOD}

Help! I made a set of playing cards in Illustrator. My artboard size is 58x88 mm. To send it to the printing company I had to make one big file, which means I have 432 artboards in one document. There guidelines state I need to safe it to PDF/X-4:2008. Every time I export the size of my artboard changes. If I check te size in Acrobat it states 291 x 321 mm; but according to the printing company my PDF is 5,8 x 8,8 mm.  I tried different PDF settings, but it only exports to the right size if I use 'Illustrator Default'. I'm on a deadline, can someone tell me how to fix this. Thanks a looot!

Hi, unsure why colours look different in Adobe Illustrator 2025 latest. When I copy and paste an element into another document or new artboard, the colour is incorrect. Please not below barcode where the background should be white but it actually appears grey and the breakdown is also not correct. Any idea on why this may be happening and how to fix it? 

Hi, I try to change the paragraph style of a text using this function in jsx : currentParagraph.paragraphStyle = styleToApply;  the style exists and no error appears but nothin happend. Somebody know why? I made a lot of tests during hours but i can't find the issue! Thanks in advance. Ludovic Schmidt

How to create a digital Token in Adobe illustrative

I need super help.I'm having a problem with my Illustrator. I use version 26.1, but this problem has already happened on another version and also on another computer. When I open some file created inside illustrator and I go to save it (ctrl + s) after making some changes, it doesn't know. Illustrator loads the save and shows as save complete (100%), after that I close the document. But when I go to open the document again, the document appears unchanged. I don't know how to solve this, but it's hurting me a lot, because sometimes I make a lot of changes in a single document, and I end up having to do it all over again. Can anyone help me?

I've gotta reopen this one ...I tried all the solutions -  > Object > Expand.. Nothing.> Object > Expand Appearances Greyed out. > Select > Remove stray points  Nothing. > Quit out of Illustrator. Reopened AI file. Nothing. Still the same effing message. Background: This was a Word .doc saved out as a PDF file, which I then opened in AI and did a create outlines.I un-grouped everything, unlocked everything. Can't move it. I can copy it tho, paste into a another layer in the same file. But I can't paste it into another AI document. Get an error message - 'Can't past the objects ..'Welcome ideas Illustrator-ers!

hi i need your help, i have a adobe ilustrator and i have a big issue, every time when i close the Adobe Ilustrator v29.6, adobe stuck and appear status not responding.if o go to the task manager appear a error windows reporting error also with the status not responding .ps: my computer has the next component  Intel Xeon E5 2620  ( 2 proc), 256 GB ram, 2x Nvme 1TB, Gpu Nvida Qatro P4000 4 GB if you have any solution please tell me

Hello,First of all, congratulations on the recent update that allows selected artboards to be rearranged and placed into a designated area—this has been a long-awaited feature, and I truly appreciate it.However, as you may already be aware, when artboards are placed at fractional X and Y coordinates, the exported assets often end up being 1 pixel larger than the defined artboard size. This has been a recurring issue for years.I would love to see a fix or improvement for this. Perhaps the rearrangement feature could optionally snap artboards to whole number X and Y positions like it used to, or alternatively, the export engine could respect the original artboard dimensions even when placed on fractional coordinates.This issue makes my workflow significantly more difficult, and I’d really appreciate any improvement in this area.Thank you!

When I try to open a file, it gets stuck with this "warping" progress bar. Hitting "stop" does not stop it; hitting "stop" doesn't do anything at all. I have tried opening two different files with the same results. Is there something I can do on my end to fix this or does the person who sent this file to me need to adjust something? What do I need to do?

I just reset my preferences and suddenly I can no longer open my "save as" dialogue box.I click "Save as" and it appear like this.I assume it's a pop up where it gave me option to save in Cloud but I can't even disable it because it's not appearing and pop up empty like this.I only able to save my file with "Save a Copy" but not "Save As"I try to adjust from File Handling but there's no option to remove cloud save setting as defaultAnyone can help how to fix this?

I installed a new profile (ISOnewspaper26v4.icc) in the /Library/ColorSync/Profiles folder on my Mac.But Illustrator didn't list it in the Color dialog box (Edit > Colors...). The solution: Click the [More Options] button (lower left corner of the Color dialog box).Go back to the CMYK profile menu, scroll down, bingo!Question to Adobe: Why hide things like this?

How do you outline/vectorize a graph created in Illustrator? I've already selected it and gone to Type > Create Outlines and it didn't work.

Is anyone familiar with this: a Part my text of aligns vertically centered to biggest font instead of to the baseline. No vertical offset value is applied. There must be some setting to make this work.'Ik slaap al' aligns the rigt way and 'weken' aligns the wrong way, but how can I apply this?

Hello, I am using CC Adobe Illustrator for automating image creation with vb .net technology via COM.I am frequently facing this 'PARM' Error while copy & pasting objects.Also after opening the file & trying to access the symbols by Name it throws the same 'PARM' error. Impact: Due to this is I am getting unfinished images. Please Advise

I use the "Horiontal/Vertical Sistribute Space" option a lot, and I want to create a keyboard shortcut for it.  However, it seems that these 2 options, don't have a Menu Command in Illustrator, on the 'distribute objects' options have a menu command:  And so in the Keyboard Shortcuts menu, they can't be assigned with a shortcut. Any idea how to solve this??
